My experience at the scrub shoppe went very well, as soon as I walked in I was greeted promptly and asked what I was looking for. They have a large range of sizes and even had petite sizing in all the pants I wanted which was a happy surprise. They have a lot of koi, winks, and Cherokee brand scrubs here, probably other brands too but those were the ones I mainly saw. I thought we got a great deal, she gave me a discount for buying a set and I got my scrubs for a cheaper price than I normally do at my regular scrub store. However - I feel like my experience went so well because I came in knowing what I wanted and intended to buy something. I see many other reviewers stating that if they didn't know what they wanted/didn't want to buy anything they became overbearing and rude. Unfortunately, while the ladies are very nice, they are also very pushy so I can definitely see this happening as well. So if you want a great deal and you want to go somewhere that has a wide range of sizes and lengths, come here!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. At first, the two women working here seem friendly--likely because they want you to make a purchase. But once they realize you're not buying anything, their attitude completely changes. They become aggressive and even refuse to let you try on more items. I've actually shopped here before and even brought a friend with me once. This time, I came in looking for a graduation nurse dress after being told over the phone that they had a variety of styles. However, when I tried on the first dress the staff member picked out for me and didn't like it, she became visibly upset. I found that frustrating--after all, I'm the one spending the money, so I should be happy with what I buy. Once she realized I wasn't going to purchase anything, she looked at me and said, "I don't like you. I'm not going to sell to you." After that, she refused to show me any other dresses and made it clear I wasn't welcome. And she said not to come back with her own words. This experience rubbed me the wrong way completely. I will never return, and I would warn others that if you're not ready to buy immediately, they may pressure you--and if you decline, they might even start speaking in their own language to talk about you right in front of you. Great find. A little less than 140$ for 3 pairs of Cherokee scrubs. Very helpful ladies who work there. So sweet. The photos online made me afraid they only had fun patterned but they do in fact have solid colors of all varieties. I over heard another guest ask for extra tall scrubs and they did have a variety of those for her also which is really good. Great value for 3 pairs. I tried on a couple of clothes. I am postpartum so some of the clothes wasn't fitting the way I thought it would. I noticed that they started getting a little upset because they had to go to the back and grab different sizes (I was the only customer in the store as well). They kept coming to the changing room, trying to open the door and see how it was fit when I was still in the middle of changing in and out of my clothes. I didn't really like how it was fitting and I decided not to get it. They began to speak in their own language and shout. I was with my four month old baby and he began to cry at this Point. The situation got overwhelming, and I just needed to leave. I have never experienced something like this. At first they were very kind and helpful trying to help me but they were very pushy on their products and insisted I try things on. When I was leaving the store I was struggling to get my stroller out and the lady yelled at me and pointed her finger telling me to go away. The staff needs to know when a customer is shopping for scrubs, it's going to take time to find the right pair. They were polite and chatty some moments and other moments they were angry and impatient. They don't have a large variety of brands and they aren't good quality either. The owner knew my size and height just from looking at me and sized me immediately into scrubs. This was something I liked because I have a hard time with sizing and take way too long in stores. She was very kind the entire time, but like other reviews have said, she does want you to buy the scrubs you try on almost immediately. But I don't think that necessarily constitutes her as an aggressive or bad person, of course she wants you to buy from her store, that's the whole point of owning one. Her and her employee were genuinely so nice and I did end up buying the cutest pair of scrubs from the brand "koi" that were much better quality that the ones I had previously and for cheaper than they were online. I've never bough scrubs before but I need a pair for my new job. I found this place on yelp and boy do I regret it. I was hounded like if I didn't buy something the world was going to end. She was like "I have your size I have your size!" (I'm a bigger girl) and I said it's ok I'm just looking, she continued to follow me, pull things out in sizes, colors, patters, and kept trying to force things on me. Again I'm just looking. Mom and pop store. Both ladies are very sweet and helpful. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes with the exact scrubs I wanted. They've been there for 23 years and I wish I knew about them sooner because their prices are actually a lot better than other places. I've paid $75 for a pair of Koi scrubs that came out to $54 with tax at the scrub shoppe. I also haven't found a scrub shop that is open after I'm off work at 7 and they're open until 8. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I went in to get scrubs and the lady stands literally right next to you the entire time watching you! Miserable way to shop! Then she insisted I keep taking more clothes when I consecutively told her I didn't need it. To top it off she added $2 more to the purchase as if I didn't know. Terrible experience. They only want customers with specific requests, not browsing . wanted to look through the different designs on the rack because I saw cute ones from the window . A woman asked me what I wanted and I said "I'm just looking" so she repeated "thank you, bye bye" over and over until I left . I was only a couple feet into the store and there for a couple minutes. I think she wanted to retrieve things for me, but not let me browse on my own. Maybe she was protective of the store but whats the point of a physical shop then? Making me leave abruptly made it seem like they were accusing me of loitering or being a thief. Her English didn't seem strong so maybe she misunderstood "just looking" as "not buying "?They either wrongly assumed something about my character, or misunderstood the phrase "just looking". If it's a language barrier issue, I hope someone close to them helps them understand , maybe family or someone !! If my auntie was out there misunderstanding things and causing chaos , I'd correct her and educate her that the phrase "just looking" is not so literal , it's a friendly English expression, stop kicking people out over it. I found this gem of a shop years ago when I was trying to find a set of scrubs for someone out of state. Not knowing anything about scrubs myself, the very kind, helpful and patient staff helped me pick out a set that was absolutely perfect for her, and at an extremely reasonable price. She was able to visit in person for the first time today, and decided right then and there that this is her go-to shop. It is tucked away in a corner near t.j Maxx in the Buena Park Mall (Right next to a formal dress shop), and I highly recommend that you check them out. She asked me 3 more times what size and again I told her 3 more times I was looking. She turned around and said something rude about me and the person I came with to the other lady working. The second lady came and rudely said why size, and again I explained I was looking. How am I supposed to find what I like if I'm not given time to look. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE!! The two women who work there haggled me the second I walked through the door. They would not leave me alone to look at merchandise. They followed me around the store asking loads of questions, trying to get me to try on what THEY wanted me to buy and even set aside scrubs for me to purchase that I hadn't even wanted nor looked at. I bought a pair of Koi scrub jobber pants and scrub top that ended up being $50 total. The store manager is helpful in letting you try on different styles and sizes so you know your fit. This store only takes exchanges with tag and receipt, no refunds. I'm giving 4 stores for the costumer service and 3 stars for the quality of the Koi scrubs. Since I got black, it seems like the color dye would bleed into my undergarments even after 1-3 times wearing them. read more

This was my first time at the Scrub Shoppe. They are located inside the Buena Park Mall. They are somewhat near TJ Maxx if you want to use that outside entrance into the mall. They have a good selection of scrubs ranging from the sale rack that looked like it started around 10.99 to higher price full sets that are around $46.00 and possibly higher depending on the brand and material. While the two women working there are very kind and helpful they really do not leave you alone to shop. They ask you what color you are looking for and what size and then start pulling scrubs to show you. I appreciate good customer service but I really would like to have had a few minutes to shop around the store by myself not feeling so pressured since it was my first time at this store. read more
