Recently, I managed to let the engine overheat and ultimately it just couldn't be saved as far as that goes. However, with a great deal of effort from Mark and his mechanic, Roberto, after replacing the engine and several other major parts, it's running great finally. Countless issues were involved, especially since it's so difficult to get parts on a 2003 Jeep. However, I've now had it completely painted. Looks like a new car and runs just as good ! Mark always gets right back with me ( and, admittedly, I can be just as high maintenance as my antique almost car!) he lets me know what's going on, good or bad. And Roberto is diligent and patient and gifted. Hoping for another 10 years possibly with my little red Jeep , we call Lil' Ruby...under their geriatric care unit. Lol ... Brandon diagnosed the issue quickly and tried to get it to start with some trouble shooting the old part. It needed a new starter and we moved ahead with the repair. I confirmed the part price with a friend and Brandon installed it as soon as his associate delivered it. Car is all fixed and Brandon is a real Professional. Honest, works hard to get the job done and goes above n beyond (he cleaned up the engine and cleaned out the Throttle Body and put in a little missing hose piece too). They wouldn't be able to fully diagnose that day and I didn't want to leave it. Ultimately, I came back and worked with Issa to set up a time to drop my car off and get the work done. Vastly different experience from Mike Maroone which I absolutely hate to patronize. I'm talking service and price! At any rate, the problem I had fixed glitched one day and I called Issa to let him know. I set up a time to bring it back but it wasn't necessary because it's been months and it never glitched again. When I called to let him know I wasn't going to keep the appointment, he told me he'd done some research and bring it by anyway, when I had time. Previously, my car had only been serviced by Chevrolet dealers but with the aforementioned trash one, I am happy I found Pete's and will continue to patronize them.
