She is a 5th-grade student, Co-Captain of the GEMS cheer team, and was preparing to join the dance program. Over several months, our child experienced multiple safety and medical incidents on campus. These included being denied timely restroom access, an injury on the playground without staff intervention or parent notification, and a hand injury during PE where medical assistance was not provided when requested. Due to the school's no-phone policy, we were not informed of these incidents until after school. When we raised concerns, administration acknowledged staffing and supervision challenges and stated an investigation would occur. As of now, we have not received follow-up or resolution. Student safety, communication, and supervision are essential. Based on our experience, these areas require significant improvement.

Many day cares just seemed like drop off places with not much structured activities while preschools really emphasized their curriculum. We chose to take the preschool route. We also wanted our son to learn a new language and French was a great choice based on his heritage and we love the French culture. We visited the school back in February and Tiphaine and the rest of the staff was fantastic. We had a lot of questions and they really spent the time to walk us through everything. We got a really nice preview of the schools's warm culture. Our son has now been in preschool for the past month and it's been amazing to see him grow, learn French, make new friends, and we can see he is happy and excited to go everyday. PROS: - small teacher to students ratio - friendly community - engaged PA with bunch of events (some virtuals for busy parents and some F2F in the evenings) - caring staff with a new head (Frederique) - designed curriculum - after school activities (sports, yoga, spanish) - early and late drop off / day care options CONS: - tuition is on the high side (monthly installments as an option). But the cost is well worth it and we are just very impressed so far with everything. So glad we have found this schooo!!

We see him using the simple structures that his teachers put in place to help him learn and grow (from his own learning folder, to using the 3 W's when faced with conflict on the playground, to scales in the class room to help him make better choices). As well, our new principal has picked up where our excellent last leader left off, building on the Wooden model and implementing some great measures to ensure "safety" in all of its broad applications. We have recommended Eastbluff to many friends and so appreciate the small town feel of the staff, campus and parents involved.

It's a small school than what we were used to and I love it for that. 6th grade is made up of two classes with about 21 kids in each class - I mean, unless you go to private school, what other public school would have classes of this size? The attention children get here is incredible. During 3rd grade back in LAUSD, my daughter was one of 46 kids in her "class" that oddly had two teachers at the helm but it was one class. Not confusing at all, and just imagine when those same 46 kids went online at the start of COVID. Nvm the children, I was getting cross eyed too with 48 little heads on the Zoom. Anyway, Eastbluff is the jam. Intimately sized, and we loved her teachers Mrs. McRae (5th) and will be sad to leave Mr. Lagerlof's class (6th) when she starts middle school in August. Mrs. Beck, the principal, is retiring and though we didn't have her for very long, she was lovely and attentive. Thank you Eastbluff Elementary for two years of great memories, not just for my daughter but for me too.

When I looked into other schools, none of them felt like home the way Holy Trinity did. My husband and many of his friends also attended HTS and received an incredible education, so it means a lot to our family that our son now gets to have that same positive experience. This school truly stands out for its supportive and welcoming environment. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth and positivity created by both the staff and the students. The teachers and staff are amazing -- they are incredibly dedicated, always willing to help, and genuinely invested in the success and well-being of every child. One of the things that makes Holy Trinity so special is how approachable and caring the educators are. They create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and growing both academically and personally. The communication between staff, students, and families is also wonderful, which really strengthens the sense of community. We feel so grateful to be part of a school where the teachers truly care and where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive. Holy Trinity is not just a school -- it's a community, and it's a place our family is proud to be part of.

We had tried public and private schools previously, and this is by far the best school experience we have had so far. We are not members of the parish, but from day one have felt exceptionally welcome by teachers, the office, and parents. Whether you are Catholic parents or not, the school offers the perfect balance for children between academic and religious studies. And if your child has ADHD, in our experience, the teachers have been exceptionally supportive of helping our child advance in a way that fits him best while still maintaining a studious environment for everyone. And the students are WONDERFUL!

Our son is now in 2nd grade and after 2 years at the school in the dual language (Spanish immersion) program, we are thrilled to have made this choice for our family! We love the teachers and the close-knit community. This is a small school of approximately 350 students TK-6th so the best part is that we really get to know each other. This is an incredible experience to have this true neighborhood feel within this sprawling city. The parent community is incredibly engaged and we've been able to add programs like visual arts & a brand new music program for every single child at the school. There are after school offerings like LA's Best plus afterschool enrichment classes, Girls on the Run, HawksLA, and other occasional offerings like ukulele or Folklorico dance. Our new principal, Ms. Salcedo has been an absolute pleasure and everyone is very enthusiastic about her leadership at our school. If you drive past the school you'll see beautiful murals, including an Eric Junker. A sweet Enrich LA Garden where the kiddos have gardening classes. Our massive green field - aka "the lawn" is a beautiful sight to behold within the concrete jungle of Los Angeles AND plans are on the tracks for many more greening initiatives that will only improve the already sweet school. We are so grateful for this school and the community. It has become the heartbeat of Atwater Village for us and look forward to at least 4 more years at this awesome school. Class sizes are small, which means our child gets personalized attention and are really seen not just another face in the crowd. It offers that classic, traditional school experience you might expect in a small town, but it's right here in the heart of the Valley. Yes, it's a private school and tuition isn't nothing- but compared to others in LA, it's very reasonable for what you get. We also weren't sure how we'd feel about the church affiliation going in, but honestly, it's light and sweet.
