We stopped by after eating next door. Really cute shop- stopped in to check it out and the ladies there were super welcoming. Really gorgeous plants and arrangements here. Their prices vary and lots of different sizes and flowers to choose from. Only can speak to customer service and freshness of flowers! Will keep in mind for future needs though. read more

I can't say enough nice things. I needed flowers for a funeral which took place the same weekend as Mother's Day and UNC graduation. The florist was slammed but immediately said they'd make it work. And they did. The flowers were beautiful and lasted a long time. In fact, the funeral home showed us our flowers, then the flowers for other funerals. Ours were clearly the best. The recipient of the flowers was very happy with the arrangement and commented on the freshness of the flowers, particularly the roses. My request to phone the recipient prior to delivery was followed as noted. He also said the delivery person was extremely pleasant. I found the price for the arrangement to be quite reasonable and would definitely contact Victoria Park Florist for any deliveries in the Chapel Hill area in the future. read more

I found their website easy to use, descriptive, and the checkout process was quick. They have a lot of choices and they range in price from $40-200, so you will be able to find something within your budget. The selections were plentiful and divided by occasion. I ordered at 9:30 and it was delivered by 2:00. The recipient loved it. read more

For Valentine's 2022, I got my wife something different this year: phalaenopsis orchids (moth orchids) from Victoria Park Florist in Chapel Hill. She loves them. Unlike the cut flowers I usually get her, these orchids will stay in our home for a much longer time. I found Victoria Park Florist on Yelp. This is currently the highest-rated florist in Chapel Hill with a perfect five-star rating with 66 reviews. Add my review, #67, to the five-star pile. I had a great experience with this shop. How I came to choose the orchids was I went to Victoria Park Florist's website, clicked on Flowers, and then Best Sellers. When I saw the orchids in the Best Sellers list, I knew I had to get them. The orchids were $49.00, delivery was $10.00, and sales tax was $4.43. The total delivered cost was $63.43. I had the orchids delivered early, before Valentine's Day, this past Thursday. Since I was working from home, I was able to greet the flower-delivery person, Aoife. She arrived with the orchids just before 4pm. She was masked and very sweet. Thank you, Aoife! I was able to see my wife's expression when she came home from work. Her eyes lit up and the orchids really made her night/weekend. She told me she'd always wanted orchids, so I lucked out there. The orchids are beautiful. Just take a look at my pictures. They came with a decorative bird which we both thought was kind of funny and different. What I saw on Victoria Park's website was what I got. The picture on the website was accurate to what I received in-person. The flowers arrived in perfect condition. Unlike my experience with other florists and flower deliveries (https://www.yelp.com/collection/BsisJC9_j6A_evQYhzGxqw/Florists-and-Flower-Delivery), these had no damage or any problems. My wife and I are very happy with the orchids. Over the weekend, one of the buds opened to reveal a new flower, so that was cool. The orchids were dressed up nicely. My wife thought the moss was a nice touch. The orchids have helped to make our living room more beautiful, overall. Victoria Park Florist has been around since 2004. This is a truly independent and local, brick-and-mortar, flower business. Unlike other florists, Victoria Park isn't affiliated with national floral wire services like FTD, Teleflora, and 1-800-Flowers.com. Needless to say, I recommend Victoria Park Florist. read more

I'm a woman of a certain age and I've received many flower arrangements over the, uhm, decades. What a marvelous surprise this gift was to me! The colors, the arrangement, the smell (yes! they smell heavenly-when's the last time your florist flowers had an actual smell?) The beautiful roses actually completely unfurled, no shriveled roses up in here. It's been days since they arrived and they still look fresh and beautiful and wonderful. I cannot express how much I love this place and these folks. I wanted my mother to get armfuls of flowers for a few months so she could arrange them herself and have something cheery over the winter. The staff were so easy to work with and made this present effortless for me to arrange -- no hard up-sell or anything -- and my mom has been raving about the flowers she's been getting. In addition to the flowers being gorgeous, the amount generous, the flowers are so well wrapped and protected so they arrive fresh and beautiful. My mother got one delivery just around Valentine's Day and it was clear they didn't send any leftovers -- it was a stunning bouquet like every other previous one. Even more, these flowers last -- frequently she'd get a new delivery while flowers from the previous one were still in full bloom. I am so grateful to Victoria Park for making this so easy for me to treat my mother, who just adored each flower delivery. EDITED to note that the photographs are of partial bouquets -- my mom has been breaking them up into multiple vases. I was looking for a reputable local florist in the Chapel Hill area and saw this florist on Yelp. Loved the reviews and photos from satisfied past guests. So I decided to look online at their site. I was very pleased with what I saw. I gave them a call earlier today and spoke to a very nice gentleman by the name of David or Dave. I can't remember it exactly but it's one of those names. LOL!!!! Any who, I had a last minute need of a floral arrangement for my amazing husband who is retiring as of Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 from UNC Chapel Hill. I told David of an arrangement pic I saw on Yelp. He went there with me as I was on the phone. Omgosh y'all! I LOVED THAT SO MUCH.... Sorry for the all caps. I was not yelling. Any who.... I asked if he could possibly make that arrangement for me and have it delivered same day. He said yes. I said no rush but as long by tomorrow, Friday it would be ok. Y'all that floral arrangement was delivered today before my husband got off work at 2pm. I got a text pic of it and attached for all to see. I am so pleased, happy and excited all at once. I'm not from this area but needed to find a reputable florist to deliver a bouquet to UNC Hospital. I contacted Victoria Park Florist because of their stellar reviews and am glad I did. This florist works with volunteers at the hospital to determine the earliest time patients can receive flowers. They knew before I did when my relative was out of ICU. They listened to the type of arrangement I wanted to send, and I am completely pleased with the entire experience. My relative who received the flowers was also very pleased and sent me multiple pictures of the arrangement. In addition to the beautiful colors, the flowers were viable and even went home with the patient! I highly recommend this florist. read more

I am so glad I found this florist shop! I walked in knowing I wanted something for my mom, but no idea what, and the woman behind the counter (I forgot to ask her name) was super patient with me and custom made a bouquet according to my price. She showed me all the flowers and suggested colors that would complement each other and pop in the arrangement. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous, and my mom loved it! This was my first time using Victoria Park Florist. This business came highly recommended from a local moms group and I'm so glad that I used them. I recently ordered an impromptu bouquet "Passionata" for a friend and used their website to order online. We live several states away and we ordered a delivery of flowers to be dropped off for a special occasion to a pair of newlyweds nearby this florist. We ordered a premium version of a bouquet we thought was ideal, but then we saw the final delivered product.... AMAZING!!!! The pictures speak for themselves. The most beautiful arrangement of flowers I've ever seen. It's such a shame we live so far or else I'd be buying flowers every week. Established in 2004.

Victoria Park Florist is owned and operated by Dave and Margaret Pender since 2004. It is named for the flower farm where Margaret grew up in Africa. She learned her craft from her grandmother whose floral designs regularly won Provincial awards and has developed an eclectic design style, constantly reaching out to explore new ways to bring flowers together into exciting and inspired creations. Many of our customers have learned the joy of discovering what will come when they ask her to "do something different". Together with the other members of the team, we offer you a friendly, customer oriented service in all matters floral.

Margaret Pender and her husband, Dave are the hands-on owners and operators of Victoria Park Florist. It is named for the farm in Africa where Margaret grew up, watching and learning as her Dutch grandmother grew flowers and taught successive generations the art of flower craft. The Penders have owned Victoria Park Florist since 2004 and have carefully developed a reputation for high quality and great value.

Wow, what a fantastic, amazing job done by David and Margaret Pender at Victoria Park Florist on all the flowers, bouquets and arrangements for my 9/24 wedding in Chapel Hill! I met with Margaret twice before the wedding and described what I envisioned. She kindly put together a bouquet, on the spot, which was beautiful. She then met with my mother a few weeks before the wedding to discuss the arrangements. I wanted both myself and my bridesmaids to be carrying bright, vibrant bouquets of oranges, purples, yellows and pinks. When I saw the flowers on my wedding day, I cried because they were so breath-taking. Everything from the men's boutinerres (sp?) to the flower girl's flowers for her hair to the wonderful bouquets were amazing. The centerpieces both in the church as well as on the tables at the reception spot were gorgeous as well and we received so many compliments on them from our guests. I recently contacted Victoria Park Florist to create a center piece for a baby shower and deliver it to our favorite cousin. We did not want anything simply baby-themed, since the arrangement was going to a large, modern home in a wooded, rural community, and would likely be displayed for more than a week. The arrangement was delivered right on time, and WOWZER --- it was everything I had asked for and much, much more --- bright, elegant, whimsical, and natural. It included a glorious array of large and small orchids, lillies and other delicate flowers, fungi, berries, and bent willow branches in a lovely modern vase.
