Before you read this just know the food is great I've picked up take out to even give it a second go. However, and take into consideration it was a Saturday with karaoke both times I've been inside is extremely loud!!! When you walk they do give a heads up for lack of service... idk if that's good or bad take your pick. Now let me explain both times 1.) Sat down and waited for a frozen margarita and the machine didn't work which is okay, however it was 15-20 min before them giving up and I ordered a regular margarita which was good. Just had the worst experience in a long time. The server sent other servers to confirm our orders multiple times. The food came out wrong or missing things. Then she got the checks wrong. Then she couldn't ring us out. Lunch included over an hour to get our food and another 30 at the end to get our checks right. read more

STAY AWAY. Visit for lunch and did not eat. I walked in at 1220 and by 1250 I still did not have my food. I also saw a carry out order take longer than I did to receive my meal. Chips are very hard and over cooked. Hole in the wall location next to large grocery store. The bar has mediocre options. Servers are very nice but not enough to get the 1 star any higher. The carne asada was sooo hard and dry. Bet part about my visit is that the owner or who ever is the main boss here was sitting next to me at the bar and did not even acknowledge me. This restaurant had a sign they were short staff. When I got my food, it was horrible. It was the worse food I ever tasted. I would give them a "0" star but it was not available. The refried beans were like puree baby food. I guess people just come for the drinks. You had to ask for them to clean the bar and majority of them did not understand or speak English. read more

Won't b going back. Wasn't feeling well so ordered a hamburger was told it was on special. Didn't care about that but when it arrived it was anything other than hamburger and it had mushrooms on it. When I bit into it I have no idea what it was I put in my mouth but it certainly wasn't ground beef. I didn't complain about mushrooms as I just removed them. The wait was non existent with a wonderful greeter and a quick trip to our table. Our server was extremely prompt getting our drinks, taking our orders and getting refills of chips and insanely tasty salsa. The food was so good. This was my second time eating at this establishment. The first time was after I had a surgical procedure, and I was feeling pretty good with painkillers, so it wasn't anything memorable. This time, we actually stayed and sat down to eat. It was a little odd - I mean call me crazy, but the waitress seemed to be seating the African-American people in one section, and then seating the Caucasian people in another section. Like I said, this may have been a misinterpretation, but my guy said something about it as well. Anyway, as far as the food is concerned - MEEEEEEH, it's alright. This place is a little pricey for the quality to be honest, but it's ALRIGHT, and its close to my house. -1 star for a hair in the cheese dip (rolls eyes). read more

I have been on the phone with them for over an hour trying to help my brother get his w-2 from them bc they blocked his number. it is illegal to withhold an employees or ex-employee w-2. I will be contacting corporate or any other companies that manage business in Augusta, Georgia. Another winner in the Augusta Mexican food in a strip mall category. The Tacos al Pastor were the best I've had since I was in my favorite Mexican village, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle where you can find "Sandra's" if she happens to be open. The tacos were served with lime, onions, cilantro, and some very tasty regrows beans. The sauce, which tasted like a mild Habanero really accented the tacos well. Plenty of pineapple was in the taco. Seriously, this was "muy authentico" and I lived in Mexico for close to a year so I'm not the average gringo. This is pretty close to the airport, which is where I happened to be headed. Tried twice in a month. First time I ordered they forgot multiple things in the order and I had to drive back. The food was subpar, not terrible, except for the queso. It was actually the same consistency as water. I decided to give them another try maybe they were having an off day. BIG MISTAKE. Carnitas tacos were great. Plenty of pork and very well seasoned. Salsa verda served with the tacos was the perfect amount of spicy for me. Service left me wanting nothing. Stopped by to pick up some tacos, soup and fajitas. I had the steak tacos and they were not great. They charge $11 for 3 tacos which in opinion is very overpriced. The steak in the tacos was not tender but was seasoned well. The cilantro and onions did not come sautéed which was very disappointing. The tacos didn't come with cheese either. I had the hard shell tacos and they looked store bought instead of house made like most authentic Mexican restaurants which was very disappointing. I had the chicken soup and it was very good, that's the only reason why I give 1 star. Everything else could've been better. I was very surprised by the low quality of the food for the price. Wouldn't recommend getting tacos from here but at least the soups are good. read more

First word advice - Don't go here. Second word of advice - If you have an issue with something - do not leave the restaurant until it is resolved because if you come back they like to argue with you. This was a work office lunch and being the new girl at work im always happy to see how my co-workers bond. I came a little later and ordered their Chimichanga which i thought was only $9.50. I also ordered two chips and salsa to go (normally complementary - however i was ordering for a co-worker that did not join us). One order was for the 8oz salsa cup and one for the 4 oz cup. I finally get my food and the chinichanga is not in its usual round burrito shape, but square, like some weird hot-pocket. There was this watery white substance which later was taste verified to be their "queso" sauce. I ordered beans and rice instead of the guacamole salad, The beans were watery and no seasoning and the rice was standard tex-mex rice. I ate what i could and then we got our bills. $24.30. When first presented with my bill there was no detail just the summary amount. Looking at the watered down food I was a little concerned about the price but i did not have anything to compare my order too on the receipt. When i received my to-go chip order, There was only one bag of chips (remember i ordered two orders of chips and salsa) and one cup of salsa (which i later found out upon delivery to my co-worker). I had to ask the manager to bring me another bag of chips for my to-go orders. I tipped as i always do - at least 15% and left upset and annoyed at the experience. I later was fuming when i found that the to -go orders were not packed correctly. So i called the manager Oscar who was nice enough to offer a refund and ask me to come to them again. So today, on a lunch break, i go to get the $8.25 i was over charged. Let me explain, my chimichanga was $9.50 base price (like a car) then everything i added was additional - Rice and Beans $1.25 and Chicken $.50. Then one order of to -go chips and salsa was priced at $6.50 and said to be the 16oz cup of salsa and then the 4oz cup of salsa to-go order was $2.50. I walk in, on a time crunch...and the server Beto is there. He begins to argue with me that he did everything right. I explained to him that i already talked to the manager and it was really not up for discussion. He told me they had cameras which i told him GO FOR IT - why would i lie and especially on my first visit of the restaurant. He finally got the manager but stood next to him and then argued that he did not argue with me upon me coming in. Good gracious heavenly father! Needless to say i got my refund and will never, ever, EVER in my entire lifetime to back to Victoria's. Their food was not worth this disgusting headache. read more
