I came here on a whim with some friends after seeing them on Facebook and Instagram. The place was clean and was super lively. Lots of natural light in this place. The food came very quickly and the staff were super friendly. I had gone when they had just opened, so they had mixed up our order, but it was still delicious. My favorite was their tacos with fish and beef as their meat. I felt like their chicken was a bit dry, but the accompanying ingredients made up for it.

Love the neon lights -- the vibes inside were super cute. We got tacos and chips n dip and everything was super yummy. Not usually a huge fan of this type of food, but this was delicious. Service was super quick and everyone was really nice. (:

I just found out there was a new spot near the mall where Moes used to be so I had to try it out while I was in the area. This place is a fresh modern twist on Mexican food and has a really cool vibe to it. It's the perfect spot to get great food and quick service especially if you are not taking a long lunch break. The have food for all occasions, covering breakfast as well which a lot of spots don't have unless it's a full sit-down restaurant. The tacos they have are different than your traditional tacos and man are they absolutely delicious. I wish I would have gotten chips because the salsa bar had a great variety of salsas to choose from. I will say they are expensive so it's not the spot I would go if I was starving and wanting 4+ tacos, it's more of a quality or quantity type meal in my opinion since each taco has a unique combination of ingredients. If you are at the mall and want something different then try this spot out, especially if you are near the outside section and want to avoid the busy food court.

The food is really good and I'm coming back. The service is was good. It's like a going to a 5 guys spot. You order when you come in. It's on the outside of the mall across from Chop House. Worth the money!

This place is a very casual location and great addition to the mall eateries here in Augusta. You order get your number and sit while they bring you your food. I believe the only alcohol beverages are canned or bottled beer. The menu itself has your traditional tacos and traditional with a spin. We tried all the ones with a spin. The madre fries are amazing with a great chipotle sauce on top with pico and guac. Very delicious. The tacos were all extremely flavorful. The Aztec taco has chorizo and shrimp with a great sauce. Super flavorful And good. The madre taco was also amazing and the fish taco. All seasoned well and filled with meat. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Food: I ordered the Madre Fries. 10/10. I also ordered jalapeños on the side and it just tied it all together for me. The fries were super hot and crispy, even with all the added toppings. I ordered the steak and it was cooked well and seasoned. Ambiance: Super new and clean. Love the salsa bar setup. Bathroom is cozy (one stall), but spacious and again, CLEAN! Service: My coworkers and I went during our lunch break, but it seemed as if we got there just in time. A line formed soon after we ordered, but they were getting the orders and food out pretty quickly. My friend who ordered a burrito did have to wait a bit longer for hers. Overall, I would recommend for a quick lunch and plan to be back.

We finally checked out this new restaurant in the Augusta Mall area. My husband got the birria fries and I got the birria quesadilla. Both items were absolutely delicious. They have a salsa bar which I love at any Mexican restaurant. They even have a robot that will bring your food to you. This isn't exciting plus for children especially. We had great service and I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Shout out to Eric one of the cooks there. We have gotten to know him and he is the one who recommended coming and I'm so glad that we did!

I ordered the chips and guacamole and a steak burrito bowl. The chips and guacamole were fresh and tasty. The steak bow, which I forgot to take a picture of, was good, but had too much rice at the bottom. It would have been better with more vegetables. The service was quick and the store was clean. Everyone seemed friendly. I would try it again and maybe order something different.

The ambiance was everything. They were playing music just loud enough to vibe out. Wish there was an actual bat to sit at but that's fine, because they bring the drink and food to you. They have a margarita flight that is off menu and is four flavors for $20. It's well worth it. I ended up getting the Korean BBQ and the grilled pecado taco . Let me tell you!!!! The best tacos I've had since living in augusta for 2 years. I wish they had a margarita tower or hookah but I understand it's a smaller space

This was my first visit to Taco Madre. I ordered 3 carnitas tacos, a steak taco and chips and guacamole. The food was fresh, fast and very tasty. Frankly, the food was on a par with better Mexican restaurants where I've eaten. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was! You order at the counter when you walk in. You'll receive a number and number stand and can sit anywhere at a table, a booth or carry your food out. If you eat in the restaurant you'll have the added surprise that the server that brings your food is electronic! Yes, a robot brings your food to you, you take your tray, place your number and stand on the robot's tray, and send it back to the kitchen to await the next order! I ate late on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was nearly empty. I would like to be there during a rush to see how the robot handles the crowd. Overall, my first dining experience there enjoyable and my food was quite good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the "fast food" vibe. Having said that, I'll be visiting the restaurant again later this week. This time, during the lunch hour rush!

The vibe is casual but hip/modern - perfect for a happy hour type of meal. There was also live music that night and was a great additional element (it was a young lady playing acoustic covers). The food was also great! Between 4 ladies, we split the tuna tostadas (really good!) and then also had the Taco Platter which was a great shareable. The drink menu had a good variety and very tasty. We sample all the tacos offered, the fave was the shrimp taco and the least impressive was the pork one. I would recommend the spot as a hip hang out. My ding would be that our server was non existent and apathetic the two or three times we did see her.
