Food was as always perfect. Service was a little spotty our server seemed to be a little overwhelmed and would forget about patrons that were already seated and had their food. We repeatedly had to try and get a drink refill. My only other comment would be to try and buss and clean tables just a little quieter. It almost sounded like they were going to war with each other and the dishes. Decided to check this place out today. We showed up around 3:30pm on a Friday it wasn't vary busy. Inside is much nicer than expected. We sat at a booth, they have plenty of seating. There is a bar there but not one where you can sit at. The food was really good, we got a chicken and steak fajita nachos and a steak fajita to go. The nachos where big and definitely filled me up. Bf enjoyed the fajita. I will definitely be back, and may grab a drink next visit. Only reason why this review is 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the service. Our server (Maria, if I am not mistaken) seemed to be vary distracted on the phone and not really attentive. Haven't been in a while because of register prices not matching the menu prices. Any way food was excellent. Now salsa was coming in small disposable tubs rather than the regular glasses. A lady was in there trying to push donuts on everyone and the restaurant allowed it. Very annoying when you have a mouthful of food. Had the chicken salad which is $10.99 but they charged me an extra dollar for chicken. Same old. It's priced as a chicken salad you don't pay extra for chicken ! read more

This is not "just another N Aug Mexican restaurant".. I received excellent customer service, and I got home to South Augusta with amaZinG Mexican food! No offense to the taco salad review but mine was perfect. The Fajitas Medina didn't have an absurd amount of veggies to meat ratio (like I usually see in this area). I will definitely be back! Check never brought to the table ... At the register I was really disappointed, when we were charged a $2.00 increase on one LUNCH item and almost $3.00 increase on the other. When I questioned the total, the woman pointed to a sign taped to the register that apologized for a "slight" price increase, and she informed me that they were "working on the menus". Ridiculous. We ate at Medinas on Martintown road and it was a horrible experience. The staff was EXTREMELY rude from the moment we walked in and stood over me when paying to make sure I was going to tip and actually was ready to push the tip button for me. Yea I tipped 20% because I was being stared at and I'm not good with that. The salsa was frozen but good when I thawed it which is why they got the one star. The food was subpar the tamale was so over microwaved the masa was hard and really salty. We asked for extra salsa (the only thing that was good) and charged for it along with a queso we didn't ask for because no offense to those who like queso but my family isn't a fan. The margarita was nasty. Micheleda good but how can you go wrong with a beer drink. But all in all if the service had been decent none of this would have been a major deal for my family and definitely would not have sparked this rant. What an atrocious experience and staff. We had been twice before and had decent service but this time was unbelievable. I definitely understand and appreciate we're in a Mexican restaurant and Spanish is their spoken language but to not be able to communicate with your customers as well as having to come back 3x about what we ordered, then it still comes out wrong. I had to get up to ask for water 2x and then finally the bill comes. I always ask for lime instead of lemon for my water. I had 2 waters. They charged my $2.00 for lime! I was shocked. The owner rushed over to me when I questioned the young women, as nowhere does it state there's a charge in the menu nor did she inform me nor was I ever charged for limes in any restaurant, ever. Then it went from bad to WORSE. The owner was so incredibly rude, told me of course we do and turned her back on me. I said excuse me, could you please explain why it's not stated nor was it told to me and $2.00, that excessive. She then spins around and with a smug look said, I don't care and if you have a problem, it's what I charge. I never raised my voice, was rude or aggressive. I was shocked at how aggressive she was with me. This owner is the most incompetent, inconsiderate and uncaring owner. I said I won't be back, she shrugged her shoulders and her twisted face smug smile was my last straw and she pointed to the door.
