An avid runner until I was 50, two hip surgeries necessitated that I change my routine to walking and pool running. For close to 29 years, this worked for me. Approaching 80 has brought about new challenges. Recently I had to go to the foot doctor who took X-rays and told me that I have severe arthritis in my left foot. This explained much about some of the difficulties I have been having with my walking regimen. He explained that more than ever I need to be very careful with my walking shoes and explained the type of support my aging feet would need to get me another 10 years of walking the river. When I went into Marathon Sports, I felt truly welcomed and was lucky to have Nina as my sales person. She is just one of the kindest most patient sales people was ever my good fortune to meet. This Nike store in Boston is along a shopping street. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes along the way. First, that ginormous torso with the Patriots t-shirt is just plain cool, but it gets better. I honestly felt like I was in Lululemon or Kit & Ace, where staff really engage you. I walked in there originally looking for sweatpants, but staff were so engaging that I walked out with 4 different types, and to this day, love every one of them. I'm hoping this isn't just new store enthusiasm, and really want to enjoy coming back in the future. For now though, this is the only sports retail store I look forward to on future shopping trips, and as always, their products are top notch. Keep it up!

All new, all allocated and hard to find ... all about 400% above retail prices. My question is ... why would I shop here if I could find the same (or lower) price at StockX ... at least be guaranteed that the shoes I buy on GOAT are genuine (fakes are getting much harder to detect) ... and this place, like websites, does not allow you to try on the shoes before you buy them? Overall, this store just doesn't make sense to me. Especially in Burlington Mall. I hate the concept of glorifying resellers ... and in LA, the high end sneaker shops at least wrap their shoes in shrink wrap to protect them. Here, they're out exposed to dust, bottoms touching shelves, etc.

this store is a disgrace, racial profiling is unacceptable !!!!!.. The treatment towards a black woman was absurd and unjustified. After all the nonsense the woman hadn't taken or stolen anything!!!!.. How embarrassing for the store employees and most of all the manager.. Corporate needs to correct this as soon as possible. I will never shop at this location again!!!. Ever!!..the employee who falsely accused her should be fired for her incompetence!!!!.. Security was awful but we're just doing there job but the employee who followed her around the store from the time she entered and then to make accusations and on top of that, called security on the black lady was way to unfair!!!
