I just purchased a house that ended up having a roof leak, missing shingles and two holes where squirrels were coming into my attic. My inspector that my realtor recommended did a incredibly shitty job. Long story short, I reach out to 3 roofing companies. First company was out to ripe me off 100% my house isn't even that big they quoted me 14,000 (including gutters), 2nd company quoted me around 8500 (including gutters) and then Victors roofing quoted me the best!! They were the only company that went up onto my roof, took pictures and explained why it was leaking and explained what they can do to repair it. Josh, the project manager was honest and trustworthy!!! They were the only company that told me my roof was repairable, and even their quote for a new roof was much cheaper than the other two company around 7200 (including gutters) I believe they had a special going on at the time of the quote. I obviously took the repair option due to investing so much of my savings into my house already. But they did a great job! I will 100% recommend this company. This company is definitely built on good work ethics and that is hard to find!!! Especially during my house buying journey I've come to realize how unethical people truly are, and sometime we forget just how cruel and money hungry, people can be. Work was professional and timely but bad sales experience wrecked the feeling for us. Minor problems with crew -- one guy asked to come in to use our bathroom -- inconvenient b/c my wife who is ill was sleeping but I felt obliged to be friendly -- and cleanup left a few minor items in back yard. More significant were issues with sales guy. We had paid 1/2 with balance check written and waiting but had difficulty connecting on phone to arrange pickup b/c of my wife's illness. He came over unannounced and then was very defensive when challenged about the cleanup issues. I had to have him come into the house to look at the attic (some cleanup questions there) and while there he was aggressive and unprofessional with my wife. Brought these issues up with Victor who promised to look into it. Was disappointed with final response which was generic thank you for your business letter and gift certificate to make up for the crew & cleanup issues, plus two Victors tee shirts, an absolutely useless and self-serving gift. Would have much preferred a written apology and a partial refund. To be clear, this was not all Victors' fault, some was mine, but the whole thing left a sour taste and I couldn't honestly recommend them without relating this experience. Update: changed this from 1 to 3 stars because I think most people will likely have an ok experience. We didn't, but as VIctor notes there was some miscommunication on both sides. read more

Don't hesitate... go with these guys. No need to look for anyone else. They were right out the gate above and beyond any of the other roofers. This company came in with a pretty rosy picture of what it would be like to work with them and they were exactly what they said they would be. Not a single surprise or disappointment. The sales guy was awesome. He used photos on his ipad to illustrate his points which was a nice touch. They offered a lot of options and if I wished, they would install any shingle I wanted if I found something on my own. I selected 4 options using the shingle sample cards they left with me. They laid 4 shingles of each on my roof so that I could get a feel for them over a little time. They provided a list of addresses where I can see said options installed on a house. They gave great advice about aesthetics along the way which was a big help as I don't have an eye for these things. Communication was quick and to the point, and at no time was he pushy. I did my homework and took my time. They were ready when I was. I was able to get an install scheduled one week after I signed. No money down. Payment is after the install. The installers contacted me with updates and information prior to and during the job. The installers were friendly and worked hard. They set up plywood protection around my landscaping and wrapped the house in blue tarps to protect the house from potential damages from falling debris. They delivered the materials on one day and did the entire job the next utilizing a fair number of people to get it done in one day. The cleanup was perfect. You would never know they had been there except for the beautiful roof they left behind! A day after the install a quality control person came out to double check the install and run a magnate over the lawn again in case any nails were missed. It all was easy peasy. Several neighbors have gone out of their way to tell me how beautiful my house is. Worth every single penny. read more

I have been seriously remiss in posting this 5-star+ review for Victors Roofing. A series of high winds knocked some shingles off my roof. I was very glad I looked on Yelp for a local repair company because that's how I found Victors. As stated, I received a call from Victor in less than two hours after my request for a quote. He gave me an excellent price and said someone would be out the next day. This was excellent timing because another storm was on its way. Vitaliy arrived on time in a spotless Victors Roofing Truck. He politely introduced himself and went right to work. He took photos of the damage and came back down to show me and reassure me my roof would be repaired in no time. Less than an hour later, he had it fixed and took more photos to show me what he had done. He was completely professional and very, very nice. I was incredibly impressed with my entire experience with Victors. Even though my repair was a small job, Victors treated me like I was their best and favorite customer. I hired Victor's roofing company after looking on Yelp, to replace a garage roof on a rental property and this is my bad experience with them: After we discuss the job, the cost was agreed and the contract was signed, but it wasn't till after I signed the contract that things started to pop up and go downhill. Extra cost for material delivery which was not mentioned during the discussion. Job delayed due to weather... Snow to be more specific but there was no Snow on the ground or the roof at that time. Forgetting to tell me that the gutters around the area being worked on would need to be removed causing damage to them and would need replacing but they were not responsible- understandable but again not brought up during our discussion. They apologized and said they forgot to mention it. To top it all off, the finished job did not pass inspection but Victor roofing wanted to their money before completion. When it was time to pay there was an extra 3.5% charge for using a credit card which many people doing these days and age so why not let the customer know ahead of time. I'm disappointed that they were not forthcoming with important information that if I known ahead of time would've save me the hassle and money, not to mention that the finish job did not test inspection- I would not recommend them read more

My parents needed their roof replaced. I did some research and had a few quotes done...Mr. Roof came out and gave us a quote and was maybe at our house 30 minutes, if that. Victors came out and were here for almost 2 hours. Not only did they take the time to talk with us about the roof repair but they had a better quote for a higher quality roof. The weather played a little role in getting the roof done in a timely manner (as it was snowy). Eventually when the crew got here they had our roof done in less than a day. Replacing my roof was one of the most important and costly investments I had to make! I'm a business person but I am not an expert when it comes to roofing material or roofing installation. I decided to do a great deal of research. I've found Yelp reviews to be the most reliable and Yelp does a good job of keeping fake reviews off their site. Victors got High marks and there were enough reviews that most of my concerns were addressed. In the beginning, the estimator and I had a communication blip but the owner bent over backward to earn my business. Once I agreed to the terms, Victors pros showed up when they agreed to and did an immaculate job. When my old neighbor had his roof replaced, I remember the roofers left construction material and even roofing nails all around. I love how clean and neat they were. There was not even a drop of sawdust. The roof looks amazing. It's straight and tight to the foundation. There are no warped or sloppy cuts. I did a tear off and roof replacement, had the ridge vent system installed, and vented drip edges. The only problem I had was I discovered that I had to figure out how to insulate my roof with the vented drip edges. Came up with a way to keep a channel for the vented drip edges and still be able to do blow in insulation with out obstructing them. If I could do it all over again I would skip the vented drip edges and save that money. Overall they were very good to work with. Actually the best experience I have had with a larger company. Great company, great experience. We had three estimates, Vitality from Victor's roofing spent time inspecting our 23 year old roof, explained what his company could offer us, mentioned things the other companies never did. Like replacing an old skylight, which if we waited till it started leaking we would have to patch the new roof. The only company who offered a 15 year guarantee, which is transferable to a new owner. The workers arrived on time stayed late, our house has a lot of roof and a third story, they had hoped to finish in one day but had told me before they might need and extra half day. They kept me informed as to how the job was progressing. They covered all the windows and bushes with plastic, brought their own dumpster truck. When they left after a full day they cleaned everything up from around the house, left nothing behind. Came back for a few hours the next day. When they finished the job completely they took a metal detector around the house to collect loose nails, swept everything up. I have found no nails left behind. An inspector came from Victor's 20 minutes after the crew left. Climbed on the roof to check work, walked the yard with my husband to see if he was satisfied with the clean up. Vitality has followed through with an email to make sure we were satisfied. Any communication with them, scheduling, billing, questions was answered. promptly and professionally. We had windstorm damage to our roof. While they weren't able to fit us in the next day, they did come out early the following morning to give us an estimate and said they would put a tarp down if they weren't able to fix it right away. They were a few minutes late, about 5, but did call to say that they were going to be a bit later than planned. They gave an estimate and repaired our roof that morning. I called and scheduled an estimate. No one showed up at the scheduled time of estimate. No one called to say they could not make the appointment. How rude! When I called to inquire why they did not show up to a scheduled appointment their excuse was that the estimator forgot his "pad" this morning. Really? They claim "Built On Integrity." I think not. If they can't handle keeping an appointment for an estimate how could they handle installing a roof? It's of the most important parts of my house! This company wasted my valuable time. These guys are awesome! I heard them to do a complete tear off and re-roof of my home. They were very accommodating as I had a couple of things that I had to do once they tore the roof off, (adding a bit of insulation in a couple small parts of my attic that can not be accessed from main attic.), and they worked around me with no issue. My project manager Dan was fantastic and always available if I had any questions. The material they use is above and beyond code and will last me a very long time. Met with Victors Roofing for an estimate on Thursday and roof was done on Saturday. Where to start. No high pressure sales. I asked for their best quote and it was the lowest of the four that I had received from other "big name companies". No haggling. A fair price. The crew arrived on-time Saturday morning and were ready to go. They confirmed the work to be done and off they went. There was a crew of 5 and everything went as planned. The roof looks great. The clean-up looks great as well. In today's world of often pathetic customer service, I can honestly say that Victors Roofing stands out as one of the few that truly put the customer first. They seem so professional at first, taking photos, promising the pricing upfront, etc.. we were told one price after inspection, but then they came out and tried to increase it by thousands but we said no. then we were told, oh, it took a little more wood than we thought so its 150.00 more and my husband and i were like ok no problem. the work was done and then we asked for the contract on paper, which at first was ok. then a salesman came to our house and said no, you need to do it on your phone, when we protested a little he said its all standard stuff this is where you sign.(this was a long complicated document by the way). finally a week later we receive the signed contract in the mail plus a shock because the interest rate is insane and the price we were originally quoted has now gone up by 6000.00. we are so heartbroken because we are working class people and we are not young. we were taken advantage of completely. Wanted an estimate from Victors Roofing for a very small leak, seeing all the reviews, thought they might be good to deal with. To give estimate a repair person and a sales person showed up. The sales person plopped himself on our sofa and was dozing of. After looking at the roof leak we had, they did a presentation of siding, flashing, ice barrier etc. It took about half an hour. The quote $5799 (just for the roof repair $2799). Apparently they took it upon themselves to check out and pry near the chimney and according to them we need to get the chimney repaired too. When we told them, we will contact if we decide to go with them. The typical sales pitch started. What would make you do this now? We offer 12% financing, 1 year no interest. Do you need to talk to someone before you make the decision, yada, yada, yada. - We got the repair done for $900 with another company, no hard selling, pretty presentation but good assessment and great work. read more

Had a fantastic experience with Victors Roofing. Spoke with Shaun for a quote. He came over and looked over replacing my ridge vent and replacing my rear gutter. Was great to talk to and didn't push anything more than what I was looking for. I had some exterior work I needed to get done before having them come out and do the work and they were patient with me getting my end completed before asking them to come out which was very helpful. They came out exactly when they said they would get here and completed the work in a very timely manner. Cleaned up after themselves and even took some of the mess that I had made which was also very helpful. They even went above and beyond what I needed cleaning up some other minor items I had in my roof which was incredible. We chose Victors Roofing after interviewing several roofing companies. Their salesman, Bill, promised not to collect the monies until everything was completed to our satisfaction. There was one small area that had to be fixed, it was about four inches long. Vlad came and fixed it without any complaints or arguments. Victors replaced my roof in August 2016 and did a great job. Salesman wasn't pushy, and gave us all the information we needed to make a buying decision. We selected a high performance shingle for our home. During our research we learned that the manufacturers warranty was only valid if the shingles were installed according to their specifications. Victors wasn't the first company I offered my roof repair too. But the first company wouldn't guarantee in writing they would install the shingles according to the manufacturers specifications. Victors made that guarantee in writing without hesitation. Can't recommend them enough. read more
