Air Strike AC and Heating was the first to respond to our request for inspection and had the least expensive service fee. They were highly rated on yelp. They were able to come out the next morning and review our system and as expected they really did not find anything wrong. The service technician, Mark made a couple of observations and suggestions that we took to heart and will apply to make our AC/Heating unit more efficient and clean. Frank, the supervisor called after the inspection to make sure that all went smoothly with Mark and the service. I really appreciated hearing from him! We will be using them again in Spring, 2024 to make sure that all is well with our AC unit before the Summer hot weather hits us again. Thanks guys!

Dominguez Electric was assigned as part of Choice Home Warranty repair service call for a fuse…read morewhich kept tripping. When the technician arrived, he collected the $100 Choice service fee then informed me that he was not able to perform any diagnostic or perform any work until Choice approved the claim. He then sat in his truck with his girlfriend for about twenty minutes before departing, citing the claim had been denied. I immediately called Choice who informed me the claim had not been denied and was still being processed. A few days later I noted the claim had been marked "complete" by Choice. When I called to inquire why, they stated it was based on the service technician's notes. I explained multiple times, to multiple Choice representatives through their warranty appeals process, about the deceptive practice and was wholly ignored. Although the electrician performed no work to diagnose the issue, entered fictious notes into the Choice portal which resulted in the claim being denied, Choice's response was that they stood by the notes entered by the Dominguez electric tech. I encourage anyone who has faced similar issues with Choice or Dominguez Electric to file a complaint with the Texas State Attorney General's office for deceptive business practices.

If you're reading this review because Qmerit selected them as your installer, these are the guys that you want. Prior to their arrival, I incorrectly assumed it would be a quick job and they would connect to my interior panel in my garage. However, that panel is only fed by 60a, and taking up 30a (24a continuous) would not be much better than the current mobile charger. Instead, they ran a new dedicated 60a line from the main panel, up through the attic, and down to the garage. I offered, and they gladly accepted, to run a conduit from the attic to garage in the corner of our guest bedroom closet. They were prepared to drill and fish through two stories of interior walls. Even so, it took 4 guys just shy of 3 hours to complete this extensive job, but my $0 quote from Qmerit remained the same. The difference between charging at 12a with 120v and 48a with 240v is dramatic!
