They were contracted by a warranty company for a plumbing leak, to which I asked the warranty company if they were qualified to do plumbing repairs, they informed me they were, the company had sent multiple different employees who were not a part of Superior Star ac & Heating all "contractors" they sublet to had informed potential damage in the bathroom that joins the wall, and informing the company of this, they decided to tear down partial walls from the master shower where the damages were not as the damages and leak were from the bathroom sharing the wall with master shower and when asking the Miguel the reason for why knocking down walls he reverts to complete unprofessionalism and either stops communication, or provides information that multiple other plumbing companies had refuted and he has refused to take responsibility to the damages caused and had even held my vanity hostage for various weeks after requesting them the day they decided to remove to place in garage they failed to listen to simple instructions advised them to set the vanity in the garage with the granite bathroom sink. They took the vanity to their "storage" and they had placed the granite sink top out in the backyard... They successfully installed it, but did not complete the job; they forgot to replace the motor cover and when I reached out to them, 3 times, via text and phone call, they never returned my call/text. I assumed it was just an oversight. I decided that since they installed my system, to have them do the yearly "tuneup". I called the number and got a "hello"; I had no idea if I actually was talking to someone at Superior Star or not and asked "who is this?"; the man told me it was Superior Star. I was quoted a price of $129. We agreed upon a time and date and I rearranged my schedule to ensure I was home when they came by. After looking around, I found they charge more than other reputable companies (by as much as $30.). I waited the 5 hours from 3pm-8pm for them to contact me and I heard nothing, no call, no text, no response when I called their business number. I had several things I needed to do today, but had to put them off since I agreed to be home for this appointment. They have now permanently lost a customer and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. We had a gas leak on our property. After thoroughly checking out the system and finding out that the old gas lines had disintegrated, Superior Star gave us two options: replace the existing gas line or go all electric. We chose to go all electric. They did a magnificent job with the new electric lines as well as helping us to find replacements for the gas stove, the gas dryer, the refrigerator, and the gas furnace. One of our A/C units drain pipe began dripping quite a bit over the weekend last week. We went ahead and changed all of the filters in the house but the dripping continued so I knew it probably had a clog somewhere. Superior Star AC sounded pretty good in reviews so I sent them a request for quote. I received a response through the app within minutes and someone was scheduled to come and look at it the same day. Mike showed up at close to 5, but within the estimated time window and took a look at the system. Confirmed that the drain was clogged up and he and his assistant worked on it for about 30 minutes to clean it out and explain some maintenance to help keep it clear. Miguel was so knowledgeable about how to properly install our gas furnace and condenser, had an A+ rating at the BBB, and the best price in town. He emailed me the company's 10 year warranty that he registered himself upon completion and just couldn't have made it any easier. Wow if I could give 6 stars I would. My AC stopped cooling Friday night around 10pm and around 2am I sent out a quote request to 5 different companies on Yelp stating this was an emergency because no A/C in Central TX and with COVID people are working out of the house = not good. Miguel (the owner) responded within hours and said he could be at my house between 11am and noon. Miguel is incredibly knowledgeable, honest and helpful. He is an absolute expert, the last AC company I use (won't name names) sent out a very friendly person but he was an amateur. Miguel quickly diagnosed multiple problems and gave a very fair quote and then got to work. When he completed his work he walked us through and showed us, step by step, everything he had done. He told us that during the summer months he rightly prioritizes customers with A/Cs that are not working above regular maintenance. Getting an A/C working again is his number one priority. Before Miguel came out the lowest our A/C could cool to during a hot summer day was 74 degrees. Today at 4pm the next day our house is cooled to 69 degrees!
