The owner,…read moreJohn Gabriel, worked with me when I explained I had a horrible experience with a previous dealership where I drove 3 hours away and I made an appointment and they sold the car to someone else while I was test driving it, and he promised to work with me to make sure I don't have a similar experience and he really did make it happen. I drove 3 and a half hours to get there and immediately I could tell my happiness truly was their priority and they care about their customers. The other two associates were also incredibly friendly and helpful when walking me through the actual buying process. They made sure I was all set before making my drive home by making sure I had a full sized spare tire, when I brought up my concern that there was no front license plate mount they instantly took action to make sure it was fixed for me, and a full tank of gas! I went home with an amazing car and an even better experience. Thank you so much!

They did not detail the car after purchase, and the car's AC died within a month. Went to a local JiffyLube for an oil change not long after, and they reported extensive corrosion of the battery. BLUF: Trust Ellie. She exemplifies a young person that knows her job well, has excellent customer…read moreservice skills, and legitimately wants to help clients. She, and from what my family members confirm is a trusted Service Department, are why you should consider purchasing from Priority Toyota. Ellie is a remarkable young professional at this dealership. She is knowledgeable and will work with you regarding financial manipulations, warranty packages, and a variety of other incentives. Salesman Dylan is new to the profession, but he is honest and has the drive to succeed. His integrity stems from previous military service. I believe Toyota buyers bank on brand reliability. Thus, the decision regarding where to purchase is related to variables that don't all have tangible metrics. Price points between dealerships won't vary too much in a geographic area. Consider what business model they use for sales? How customer oriented are their policies (e.g., state inspections, oil changes, detailing, etc.) Priority Toyota is worth my time and money. I recommend you give them a chance. And ask for Dylan and Ellie.

I see the progress online that it's almost complete. I called 4 times to my service agent. Went to voice mail every single time. I called the service department they forward me to someone and it goes to voice mail. I left several voice mails and nobody returns my call. I call sales department. Someone answers, transfers me to service and goes straight to voice mail. I call back ask for the manager, I get transferred to another voice mail. I'm just trying to get my car back before the weekend at this point. I cannot believe the level of ineptitude I experienced today. Definitely a 0/10 experience for a basic oil change. It's almost like they are holding my car hostage because I didn't agree to the $10,000 in repair estimates. Finally after 5-6 calls to the sales department, somebody apparently forwarded my call to a managers personal phone to which he asked, who gave you my personal number? How am I supposed to know that???? I didn't call him, someone forwarded me to him. He says he'll go over there and call me back. He calls back and says it's almost ready. At that point I finally get a text back from the service manager Destiny who says I texted during her break. So you mean to tell me this big dealership has no process to help someone while one of their many service managers is on break? So my repair took an extra hour and a half because someone was on an hour+ lunch break? This place has gone downhill over the last several years. I should've known it wasn't going to be good when I first get there and have to wait about 2 minutes for a group of employees, right in front of me, to end their seemingly hilarious conversation before someone finally acknowledged me. Not sure what's changed but I used to be about to get in an out for an oil change and a tire rotation in about an hour. Now it's 4-5 hours??? Dropped off at 10, final told that it's ready at 2:15pm??? Good thing I didn't stay there and wait for it to be done. When it does come time to replace my 2010 Toyota 4Runner, Priority Toyota of Chesapeake will not my high on my priority list.

Oof where do I begin…read more I've had issues since the late aughts with southern and vowed to never buy another car from them. The service department was absolutely terrible and tried to fraud me for over a few thousand dollars, thankfully they reluctantly gave me my money back with an "oops, we forgot about the warranty" Then in 2016 my husband bought a Ram pickup. He had never had an issue with service, including his free oil changes, inspection etc. We even started to bring our Jeep and old Elantra in for oil changes and small service needs. We are currently in the market for a new Ram 2500 and car for our daughter, needless to say, Southern missed out on 2 vehicle sales and future service needs. We no longer can bring our car to this dealership for our free oil change because they updated their Southern Hospitality rules and we need to have ALL service done there. This was not in our original paperwork, thankfully I kept that and looked at the info. The GM was rude when explaining this to us and "helped" by calling the other southern location where we bought the truck and they graciously told us that the deal will still be honored at their location. While Greenbrier is near our house, we will drive the extra distance and give our sales to the Norfolk location. Between the services and sales Greenbrier Southern CDJR lost out on over $100,000 in sales. BUYER BEWARE!

Throughout this process we talked a lot because I was getting ready to spend a good amount of money. I wanted to know every detail about everything. During the point of discussing numbers, the sales person helping me, Emre, raised his voice and became quite aggressive. The reason for his unprofessionalism was because I didn't want to make a down payment due to not knowing the final cost with the warranty. Emre stated "I spent 2 hours with you yesterday and over 1 today, what are we doing here," basically saying I was wasting his time. Do not ask for Emre as your sales person, he is morally and ethically corrupt. I STRONGLY advise against doing business here.

We measured the thickness of the rotors and inspected the pads before he brought it down. Used a micrometer to make sure we were within thickness standards for the rotors. What comes back during the inspection? Rotors and pads need to be replaced...1600 bucks, lady down there gets into a yelling match with my dad about the rotors because he calls them out about lying. She even said they replace rotors when they do brakes as a given, regardless of the status of the rotors. Would not tell us why besides that it was policy...that is illegal. They are replacing parts that don't necessarily need to be replaced. Rotors only need to replaced if they are grooved, thin or cracked. Brakes had plenty of pad on them, we measured those too... I would not recommend going here they as they trying to replace parts that don't need to be replaced. Per state law we are within minimum standards needed to pass an inspection but somehow needed brakes...I wouldn't trust them with my kids Tonka truck.

I didn't think much of it but my fiancé told me to get it checked out. I never did till it got really bad. One day I'm going on a lil trip with my car & my 2 yr old son was with me. So I'm on the interstate & my engine light just starts flashing & it wouldn't go no faster than 57 miles. I had to pull over on the interstate & turn on my hazard lights. I had to drive an hour & some minutes back home only going 57 miles on the interstate just so they could tow my car from home. Mind you, the day after they "claimed" they fixed it my car did the same exact thing not even 24hrs of me having it. Recently my car stopped on a stop light because it was over heated & smoking. Now you may be thinking "what could cause that" well my c-h cooling ruptured all over my engine so i didn't have any cooling on a 81 degree hot day. Now they're saying I'll have to get a whole new engine & this is only the second month I've had the car. The worst part about it all is, i don't even want the car anymore it's putting me into financial stress. It's been in the shop more times than I've driven it.
