    Indian Springfield I Purchased

    I purchased a motorcycle from Elite. I worked with David Ferkler and he was responding on Christmas Day with answers! That is impressive and stood out. He followed up as promised with some info the next day. We worked out a deal by texting (thank you for that!) and I picked it up the same evening. They helped me load it on the trailer and back out safely. Robert Wilson in Finance took care of the paperwork in advance to save time and had me on my way efficiently. All good stuff!

    I found this car on auto trader... I live in northern NY and was going to NC for vacation.. I called to inquire about the car and Kareem was the salesman that helped me ... I purchased the car over the phone and he was great helping with everything ... When we arrived to pick up the car he had it parked right out front with the top down ready to roll.. This morning I got up at 5 AM to be first in line for their 730 opening to get my oil change and filter which I have been doing for the last 13 years. The representative said, "Do you have an 'appointment'?" I said, I've never had an appointment in 13 years for oil change, and filter." She said, "Well, now you need an appointment, but we'll 'try' to fit you in." She said, "I can't guarantee we'll get you in." She also said, "Since you have a recall, we can't do your service unless you have the recall done first." I went to talk to the guy that I have been dealing with for years complaining about this and reminding him that I had an appointment last week that wasn't honored. Even though everyone else I talked to used the term "appointment", he dutifully held the new management line and said, It's not an appointment. It's a "check in time." This is total BS. Everyone on earth knows what an appointment means. It does not mean come on over and maybe we'll get to you and maybe we won't. After 13 years, they have gotten my last dollar.

I drove 3 and a half hours to get there and immediately I could tell my happiness truly was their priority and they care about their customers. The other two associates were also incredibly friendly and helpful when walking me through the actual buying process. They made sure I was all set before making my drive home by making sure I had a full sized spare tire, when I brought up my concern that there was no front license plate mount they instantly took action to make sure it was fixed for me, and a full tank of gas! For me, every time I have come here has been an amazing, gracious experience. I was sold my car by the dapper C.J. Morris, who is a man that keeps things real. Each time I came in afterward he recognizes me and shakes my hand. Drivers World has a good policy of "price as marked" with no haggling, since their prices are already low. I don't know about that across the board, but my 2010 Hyundai Accent was a great deal. I have had two issue happen with my car since its purchase. The first was when my spare key came in from the Hyundai Mother Ship. We tried it out and it got stuck in the ignition! Samantha, in their service dept., immediately got me a rental and called a locksmith to look at it the next day. My car was fixed up that next day too, the locksmith had to re-cut part of the key. My second issue was when my car suddenly didn't start one day after work. I took a panicked trip in the tow truck to Drivers World where they got me a loaner car that night. They called me in the morning and told me it was the starter. I returned my loaner and they got me a rental; a few days later I picked up my car from Checkered Flag Hyundai. So far, everything has been covered and I always get treated nice there. I had a great buying experience and their awesome service has continued. Hopefully all my visits will be this good.

The only negative thing that I have to say about the experience is that I had asked when we sat down for the loan what percentage the rates started at. We were told they started at 5.25%. My sister has good credit so I wasn't expecting her payment to fall in a much higher percentage bucket. We were good with the price of the vehicle, and the warranty that she added on. However, and this is a big however, until we were signing the documents, did we see for the first time that the loan she was being given was at over 14% APR. This is absolutely ridiculous and unheard of for somebody who has good credit. We wasted no time going over to Navy Federal and securing her a proper loan at a reasonable rate. The amount that Carmax was trying to charge her in interest was more than half of what the vehicle cost with the add-ons. Let that sink in. Do not sign blindly and make sure you understand what you would be paying in interest. I highly recommend getting pre-approved elsewhere for a loan first and not using their financing. You have three days to get a loan elsewhere and have it changed over, but I would suggest making sure you're eligible before you go car broke. We didn't see any of that until half way through signing the contract. Kind of crazy!

CARMAX does not do repairs on Tesla's, they will send you to the Tesla dealership on military highway. Once there, Tesla does not accept third-party warranties you will have to pay for all repairs out-of-pocket with a hope of reimbursement from Max Care. If they approve the reimbursement, it will take 3 to 4 weeks. It's been a cluster bomb. I hope to save someone a ton of trouble and Time.

Felt like I was mugged. These snakes try to beat you down to buy all sorts of add ons. They drag the process out over several hours to tire you out and change salespeople/managers several times to keep beating on you. I have bought many cars over the years and this is THE WORST dealership I ever encountered. They will not be servicing my car.

I replied with follow up questions regarding the manufacturer's warranty that my car still falls under and they have avoided answering my questions or replying to me entirely. All they've told me per our last correspondence is that parts were on order and that it was covered by warranty, avoiding my question as to what specific repairs were being made. They said that my car could possibly be completed by Friday, Sept. 19. It is now Sept. 30 with zero updates or replies since Sept. 18. My service representative is a Robert Ives, and their service manager is Frank Johns. Avoid this service department like the fucking plague. Guarantee they're delaying in order to try adding items for my safety inspection, which expires after tomorrow, and that I have not authorized. I will be making a police report if I do not receive an update tommorow.
