I found this place thru a deal on groupon. Being new to the area I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a wonderful experience at Victory Auto Mall! I made an appointment for an oil change on a Friday afternoon. The place was easy to find and once I walked in and was greeted by Kim I knew I was in great hands! Kim was super sweet and accommodating. I forget the guys name that did my oil change but he was awesome and super knowledgeable. Being a lady who doesn't know anything about cars other than it needs gas to run (lol) he took very good care of me, answered all my questions and didn't pressure me into buying or paying for anything extra like i've experienced everywhere else i've gone to before. I purchased a used truck from Victory Auto Mall in St. Petersburg in September 2025. At the time of sale, I was told the check engine light would be repaired. Since then, I have returned the vehicle to them multiple times (including three trips from Fort Myers), and the issue was never resolved. I was eventually told to take the truck to a dealership for repair. The vehicle has now been diagnosed with a bad transmission and inverter. The extended warranty sold at the time of purchase does not cover all of these issues, leaving me with significant out-of-pocket costs. I withheld a remaining $1,020 of the down payment due to the unresolved issue tied to the original agreement. Instead of resolving the matter, the dealership placed a registration/tag stop, preventing me from renewing my registration, and has stopped responding to my calls. I am currently attempting to resolve this directly and through formal channels. I will update this review based on how the dealership handles this situation moving forward. read more

Buyers BEWARE!!!!!! Public Review -- Victory Auto Mall I normally don't leave bad reviews, but I feel obligated to warn other buyers about my experience with Victory Auto Mall and Salesman by the name of Chris! I Have been searching Facebook Marketplace to help my son find a Ford F-150 Platinum. I immediatley found several very nice trucks that he was interested in looking at. I also immediatly noticed the trucks were all listed by the same "Chris Stamper," and attempted to contact "Chris" to inquire about the trucks. The trucks were listed as available and after exchanging messages with Chris, he confirmed all the trucks were still avaiilable and at his lot at 10227 Causeway Blvd in Tampa, also known as the Victory Auto Mall. Chris attempted to arrange a date and time for me to respond to the dealership to see the trucks. In the meantime, I found another truck listed on facebook and contacted "Miriam," who also identified herself as working at Victory Auto Mall. After asking a series of questions, I immediately noticed Miriam placed the vehicle as "Pending." A short time later, Miriam claimed the truck was pending a sale since a deposit was received. Textbook definition of a bait-and-switch sales tactic. I continued to exchage messages with Miriam, who claimed she had two (2) F-150 Platinum's on the lot, later sending me photographs of the trucks via text message. The trucks Miriam sent were not even close to the trucks Chris claimed were at the lot. I decided to visit the Victory Auto Mall website, which had vehicles listed, but none of the trucks they listed for sale via Facebook. When I asked Miriam about this discrepancy, she claimed the truck was just removed from the website since they recieved a deposit. Now suspicious with Chris's sales tactics, I asked him about the truck he had listed on facebook was still available, planning to visit his dealership the following day. Chris quickly confirmd the truck was in fact still available and requested a time of my arrival. After I confronted Chris with Miriam's statements, he blocked me and removed the ads from facebook, preventing me from reporting his sales ads and unethical bait and switch sales tactics. I understand dealerships need to sell cars, but advertising a vehicle they have never owned to get customers in the door and then steering them into a more expensive option damages trust. Buyers deserve clear pricing, written out-the-door numbers, and honest availability information before they drive across town. I strongly recommend future customers to prevent from using Chris and/or Victory Auto Mall for any of their vehicle purchases. Just Google their dealership name and that should tell you everything you need to know. I hope this review encourages more transparency and helps other buyers avoid a frustrating experience. BUYERS BEWARE OF Christopher Stamper , he advertises on facebook market place. He claims they go off your income not your "past". After I sent him my stubs ( 3 of them ) and my license. He told me my income looked good and what my monthly payment would be and my down required. So we made arrangement for me to come and sign. However, upon arrival. He pulled the bait and switch. Told me now my income is no longer good, and offered me a completely different truck . THIS place is sketchy. Mind you I do not have a car right now so I had to arrange for a ride. He wasted my time. This is not a buy here pay here as he made it sound to be. Horrible place to do business. Completely bamboozed me in many ways that I will list. Legal representation contacting them since they refuse to help. LASTLY, 2 of the 5 star reviews are from employees, one of which sold me the truck I'm about to discuss 1) purchased a truck from Victory Auto. Victory auto took a $500 down payment while telling the bank I paid $2,500 (floating money, illegal move 1) 2) when the bank called to confirm the vehicle information, the bank quickly found out that they lied about features of the car. They said it had a different engine, leather seats, and a bunch of other things it did not have in order to boost the blue book value. The bank then applied a big "overbook" fee to the loan because they charged so much over blue book value, as accidentally disclosed to me by the underwriter. Desperate for transportation to work, I continued with the deal 3. The truck had a check engine light and the door does not close all the way. I get soaked when it rains, legitimately. They told me it would be taken care of inside of a 30-60 day warranty. When I went to take care of it, they couldn't book me until 6 days past the warranty end date. 4. 41 days into owning the truck, the dealership and bank called me completely out of the blue and said the deal had been cancelled because my ach payment returned. When they called me, immediately offered to rectify and make my payment with a debit right then and there. To my dismay, the truck loan was already cancelled. 5. I then called 11 times over 3 days attempting to speak with the GM or the owner. When I bought the truck, they answered every call. Now they suddenly decide to not answer and 1 person refused to send my contract. I also have texts of the GM saying they will not return down payment that I made EVEN THOUGH CONTRACT EXPLICITY STATES THAT DOWN PAYMENT MUST BE REFUNDED. 6 The dealership finance manager Casey told me on Monday, July 8th that I had until the weekend to return the truck so I can purchase and find a separate truck. I woke up today and the truck was towed to a lot 1.5 hours away Between the maintenance issues, sketchy sale, and refusal to send the contract that I legally should have, I have representation contacting them. read more

SCAMMER ALERT!!!!! Do not buy from here, it is the shadiest place I have ever encountered. The management team is a joke, and they do not answer calls no matter how many different numbers they give you. We bought a car 3 weeks ago and we have yet to even get the car to run after taking it off the lot. Check engine light immediatley came on, so it it still in their "service" center. I bought a 2020 Camaro in February of 2021. I commissioned them to add some pinstriping to the car which was supposed to be done in 2 days. A week later, I still did not have the car and had to tell them to deliver the car whether it was finished or not. When the car arrived at my house, it was filthy both inside and out. Not what I expected for a new car. Also, it has about a quart's worth of gas in the tank - barely made it to the gas station to fill it up. Again, a real dealership would provide at least a half of a tank. Finally, they were supposed to provide the registration for the vehicle when they delivered it. I had not registration and finally after more then 1 week of pestering them for the document; I gave up and went to the DMV to get my own copy. They are not a customer focused dealership at all. They were very busy when I arrived. The lady said that it would be 1.5 hours before I could get in even though I had an appointment. I wouldn't recommend this place. my boyfriend bought a vehicle from this company back in April if this year and we have been having problems with this vehicle since then. Victory AutoMall obviously didn't check to make sure everything was running properly and to make it a safe vehicle to drive. I'm so disappointed with this company and will not be going back there anytime soon to purchase a vehicle for myself. Fantastic customer service! I called ahead and spoke to Kim because my skid plate was detached and dragging on the ground, and she said to bring it on in.
