1 Star Bait and Switch - DO NOT BUY HERE. I came to Victory Chevrolet on Rhyne Rd believing I was getting a fair deal on a 4Runner, only to experience one of the worst dealership tactics I've ever seen. Prices were not what they advertised, and when I sat down to finalize the deal, suddenly there were mandatory add-ons that were never disclosed up front. They tried to force a "Brake Plus" flashing brake light product into the deal, a $399 add on. After researching, I found out it's actually a cheap aftermarket module worth around $20 and can be unplugged or removed in minutes. Victory tried to pass it off as something much more valuable -- and insisted it had to stay on the vehicle. On top of that, the real out-the-door price was thousands more than what they advertised. Insisting the 'Victory Protection Package' for $1599, is standard on every purchase. Classic bait-and-switch pricing. For anyone shopping here, be prepared for price changes, hidden fees, forced add-ons, and inflated numbers that magically appear once you're in the finance office. The good news? I walked away. I've now purchased a better 4Runner, with fewer miles, thousands less, and it came with a lifetime powertrain warranty -- something Victory couldn't match. Better experience at Scott Clark Toyota. Do not take your car here. I paid $1500 for repairs in December and the exact same thing happened again this month and they want to charge me again for the same repair. Customer service is horrible. They left me a message on Tuesday. I called back and have not been able to consult with anyone about the car issues; today is Friday. I am so disappointed. Ever since Hunter bought our the dealership its been poor quality and poor CS. My camaro was brand new from this dealership. I've never experienced the lack of communication and delay that I've experienced from Victory Chevrolet's Service Dept. They really need to re-evaluate their internal and external communication process. What I've learned is that I will never buy a Jeep from a Chevy dealership. I purchased my 2022 Jeep in May from Victory Chevrolet and its still under warranty. The auto start stop light comes on a few weeks after purchasing. I'm thinking, this should be an easy fix. I've talked to several people with same issue with their jeep. All say, it's the auxiliary battery, no big deal............ On June 20th, I took it in for service, they changed the auxiliary battery and said, it's all good to go. I go out to my car and the same light for auto start/stop is still on. I had a trip coming up so they said to bring it back so they could send it to Jeep dealership. I made the service appointment for July 3rd. I also requested a state inspection because it was due on July 1st. They have it for 5 days (July 8th) and say that it's ready to pick up. When I arrived, they did not know where my key was. They had to call someone who had left for the day to see where he put it. I asked if the inspection was completed, it took 10 minutes to figure that out. Found out it was not completed. I got in my car and drove away without the inspection and immediately notice that the Auto start stop lights were still on. Also, I found out they did NOT send it to another dealership but tried to fix it there again. July 9th, they have my car back for the 3rd time now. They said that they are going to send it to another dealership, FINALLY. Since then, I've had to ask for updates as they do not give updates freely. No one responds urgently. They did tell me that Jeep was changing the auxiliary battery AGAIN along with the main battery this time. I did ask for the Jeep dealership contact so I could get updates from them instead. On Monday 07/21/2025, I sent a text at 7am asking for an update. I tried calling the service department 5 times during the day. I decided to email the Jeep dealership to get an update and received a message back within 5 minutes telling me they had communicated to the Victory Chevrolet's service team last Friday stating it was ready for pickup. I sent Victory an email and text to let them know. They finally sent me an email saying it was ready to pick up. Then I received a text saying that the inspection could not be done and it was not ready...... I told them to bring my car to me on Tuesday 07/22/2025 (it did arrive on time) and I plan to take it elsewhere for my inspection. I will not be bringing it back there in the future. read more

Customer Service needs a great deal of work in the service department as well as other staff members that encounter customers. I wasn't greeted. People looked up when I entered but didn't say a word. I walked up to the counter to get assistance. The rep didn't introduce himself. Didn't even tell me the next steps. As I waited for someone to pick me up, staff members passed me and didn't acknowledge me. This is my second negative experience since I purchased my car from them. I will NOT return. read more

I'm still waiting to see if I have issues with my 2018 Nissan rouge after reading these reviews smh but they tried to sale me a car full of dog fur I asked them to detail it twice and we pull the arm rest down and it's filthy and disgusting. Will be taking it back immediately. The detail guy stole my vent clip phone holder and I literally just bought the car and to see reviews about theft put the icing on the cake I will be contacting them today. His excuse I see he's come up with is that he put it into another car. Like why would you fully take my stuff out the car instead of moving it to clean a vent if you did like that's the dumbest lie. Very good experience here. The whole staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I'm always kind of guarded when dealing with car dealerships because I expect I'm going to get screwed over but they did everything they promised. I made contact through the website and got a call from Wade who was very nice and helpful answering all my questions. He even went out to the vehicle to smell it to make sure there wasn't a smoke odor. We drove 3 hours to purchase the car. They were only doing meetings with an appointment because of covid. We worked with Tim, although we had already negotiated the price before even leaving home so he was largely just doing the paperwork. He had the vehicle up front and ready to go for a test drive. We took the car that evening and came back a couple days later to deliver our check, have an extra key made, and for them to perform a maintenance that they had promised to make. We were thrown off at first because even though we had scheduled all of this when we came in there was some confusion and were told "oh the key guy isnt here today". but what really happened was he had gotten into a car accident and would just be late. Corey, one of the sales reps was great and helped us with everything because Tim was on vacation. He was very calm, friendly, and helpful. The services were all done much quicker than expected. I understand how many people may be thrown off by their $1600 protection package especially when they aren't expecting it but since i had read reviews I knew to ask about it and they knocked an extra $500 off because of it. Their vehicles are cheaper than other locations but when you add the protection package and their $699 processing fee they end up being still a good value but much closer to other dealerships in price. oh they also gave my kid ice cream which was nice. read more

They said it never exhibited the problem that caused the breakdown and it was running fine. When we got there to pick up the truck, a two and half hour trip, the truck would not start. The tech primed the fuel filter as this is a diesel, finally got it started and we left only to be stranded again an hour later and another 280.00 to tow to a different dealership. If they would have used Google or YouTube they could have found the problem. I would give NEGATIVE STARS, but that isn't an option. FALSE Advertisement. We went to purchase a car from Victory, price advertised was $21,500. We drove about 90 minutes to get there and was ready to purchase the car at that price with tax and license. Once we showed up at the dealer they added $899 for Dealer Fee and $1700 for oil changes and to repair minor dents for one year. This brought the price up $24,099 almost $2600 more. We said we did not want the oil change for a year (about a $100 value) was not worth it. We could live wit the Dealer fee though it is high compared to other dealer. They would not take it off the $1700 and no were was this advertised as part of the cost of the vehicle. So BUYER BEWARE, lesson learned, call ahead and ask the final price out the door before you drive to the dealer. read more

Victory Chevrolet unfortunately sold my family a bad car. We were stranded on the road just one week after purchasing the vehicle. The dealership has no interest in helping my family with the repairs, despite the dealership having a 90 day warrantee guaranteed for all customers. Thankfully, GM corporate has been very responsive and helpful in trying to get the dealership to repair our vehicle at no cost to us. This will be the last time we do business at this dealership. My family should not be in a place right now where we don't have a vehicle for up to a month now. read more

Said the car I was going to look at was being serviced, when I got home and checked the oil it was over 2 quarts low. So had to put oil in the car. Then I had to have my trade in car towed to the dealership because they said it wouldn't run when came to pick up. it has been almost a year since we bought our car from Victory Chevrolet. we were promised the floor liner package and only received part of it. we've been trying to get it ever since. I reviewed on Google and they replied saying they would get in touch and they never did. so trying here. Sorry to say, there are too many problems: * Charged for in-warranty repairs. * Had to return for service mistakes and corrections. * Hearing other customers in the service area complain about mixed up contact information. * Dismissed by sales people (two separate visits) and ended up purchasing vehicles from different local dealerships. I don't like sharing negative reviews and experiences but I hope that they figure out how to improve the service and communication. experience ever the general manager pulled the deal for me after I paid for insurance because I asked him a question about the protection package and the trade on and then he begins to appear as they retired or answering my questions I asked to speak to someone else for some more clarity about the protection package that I wasn't obligated to buy, but if I didn't buy, they would pull the deal after IV for insurance the manager kingdom to me and I tried to tell him that he wasn't the one that I requested to speak to because he also was the one that was building my deal. He told me he was the Chevrolet vice president available or there was no owner of the company he was the last stop in the company. And I also have it all video where he was very, very rude. I went back to resolve the problem and they told me I needed rotors, paid for new rotors and my brakes still squeak!! Took my vehicle back they didn't do anything about it! $700.00 down the drain!! Service department was horrible. Had my car for 3 months. Spent a lot of money (around $3000) and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car. Very incompetent service department. After 3 months of not being able to fix my car they just made up a lie and said it needed a new transmission knowing we would not spend $6000 on it. They just said that because they were tired of dealing with it. My husband was able to end up fixing the car with a $40 part. Mechanics definitely do not know what they are doing. Service department is very very bad at comprehending simple instructions, took my car yo the dealer ship to be fixed, show them the issue and they still didn't understand and as a result my car issue wasn't taking care of. Then after asking to talk with Service Manager to discuss the issue he told me to pick my car up and hung up on me. To leave the dealership and have same problem thirty minutes after leaving. They are not in their customers best interest. I was being rushed to purchase a vehicle due to them not being able to hold vehicles (i agreed to come in on a Saturday they said they weren't able to hold it until Saturday) .... after getting all my paperwork from my bank in order to purchase the vehicle, my vehicle still wasn't ready i live almost 3hrs away from the car dealership , i work through out the day and i also don't have a car to go back and forth up there so i opted yo have my car delivered which took another 2-3 days . They said they would keep me updated but i have to call up there to get updates . Sales manager JT was helpful at first but then began to ignore my calls . We've made Victory our go to dealer. We've purchased 3 vehicles from them since the beginning of the year. Prices are very reasonable and they generally have a huge inventory of late model used cars. Marcos has been great and has always been able to find us what we needed. Finance has always gotten us a great interest rate and I suspect they pad that very little, if at all. Most dealers will generally pad the interest rate substantially to their benefit. There was no hard sell for us to purchase additional products. We are pretty well set on cars now for all of our family members, but Victory will be our first stop when the need arises for another car. read more

Also made me buy a "warranty " to cover paint and wheel touch up but received no paperwork on said warranty and lots of damage on both the wheels and paint/body...no response from them! I was the first one in this morning. I was the only one wearing a mask. The chairs are spread out in the waiting room but no one was wearing a mask. Advisors put plastic on my steering wheel and something over the seat. Good. However, I saw the advisor get in my car with a fresh cup of coffee and something liquid was spilled all over my gear shift and console. It was very sticky. Our sales guy was even embarrassed by it and admitted that it makes most customers angry. Used cars are dirty and unkept. So I had an issue with my car, and thought that I would take my buick to the nearest dealership. I read the reviews and warnings and I was like no, I'm going to give them a chance. Let's start at the beginning. So I called verified I did not need an appointment, and was told there was a shuttle. All great! Yay! took my car in Thursday afternoon 3:45ish and was told that the shuttle guy had already left for the day. Annoyed but that's okay. And dropped off my car. Did the service guy make me feel like I was bothering him by being there? Yes. So right off the start. Mixed feelings. I was told I would get a call back in the morning. At noon on Friday, I called because I had not heard anything and was told what was wrong and they would check if it was under warranty. I was given a quote of about $1000 if it wasn't covered and since the part was not in stock, it would not be ready until Monday. I took the initiative to call my warranty company and was advised that it wasn't. So I called back and wanted to ask some questions, in general about what was wrong how long etc, those kinds of things. A different guy answered and quoted me $650 bucks and that the part was in stock so it would be ready today. In the span of 15ish minutes this price had dropped quite a lot and I'd been told a different situation about the time it would be ready and the part in stock. You can imagine I was upset because I then felt like 1. i was being lied to and 2. that i was taken advantage of by the first guy. I then asked for the service manager to kind of talk about this discrepancy (his name is mike) and he was very nice and helpful and explained what could have happened (extra lines and boxes being checked.) it certainly could have happened and with the benefit of the doubt I accepted his explanation. I was told without a doubt that my car was going to be ready by the end of the day! (Yay) Scott (my service advisor) then called and explained and apologized for the error in the pricing. Once again very helpful this time and he provided me with a complete breakdown of the charges. So I never got a call that my car was ready, and so after my husband picked me up from work, we went to the dealership (it's 5:30 the service department closes at 6) I was told it was still making a noise and that it was not ready. Ok. I'd rather it be fixed than me take it home and be a mess. So I said, it's fine I'll come back tomorrow. What's one more day at this point. about 30 or so minutes later I get a phone call, and oh! it's fixed. hmm okay. we go back to the dealership, pay and drive home. I drive to work and notice damage to my wheel and tire on my passenger side. I only notice this because the cap to my tire is missing. I know the dealer touched it because they put air in my tire during the oil change. The issue is that my wheel is so scratched and there's a chunk missing out of my tire, that i literally got fixed not 2 days before it died and so i know for a fact that the damage was not there before it was at the dealership because I and my tire guy visually inspected it before i left them. Can I hard fact prove this, no, I have no physical evidence. Because who takes photos of their car like that. Either they hit it on the lift, or they hit a curb during the road test. My car was also filthy, The hood was covered in gross dirty fingerprints. I'm giving them 2 stars because they did complete the work super quick and Mike was super friendly. But yeah, not feeling super great about this dealership. Never again. If you take your car here, photograph and inspect before it goes to this dealership. there are numerous complaints about damage to the vehicle (whether legit or not) and having the facts to back it up would be wise read more

Buyer beware!!! The only star goes to Ola, our sales guy for being so nice!!! This place forces you to buy a $1600 additional mandatory protection plan. They give you below dirt for your trade. They lie about the call from the bank. They ran credit, offered me crazy terms, several people called several times saying it's the best they could do bc of the bank. Fast forward two days I walked into Scott Clark and bought the same vehicle at a lower price financed through Wells Fargo (same bank that Victory swore wanted $4000 down and 7.6% interest) with no money down, saved $6800 on the vehicle and it was all done in 3 hours. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH VICTORY, they set pricing low to get you through the door but they'll add on a minimum of $3000-$4000 and stress you out. read more

To say that the experience was HORRIBLE would be a vast understatement. I had gotten pre-approved through Capital One. I was looking online for a Kia Soul and had seen that Victory had a few in-stock, so we went there on Saturday. After we test drove 2 of them, we went inside to look at the numbers. I didn't mention that I was pre-approved because I wanted to see if Victory might provide me with a better offer. When the sales rep that had taken us out (Barry) came back with the first round of numbers, they were significantly higher than what Capital One had said my payments would be. I told Barry that those numbers wouldn't work. He disappeared and came back with Dimitri. First of all, the price of the car was $13,000, and on the paperwork, it was $13,500. The total, after all the fees, was close to $17,000. The payment estimate from Capital one was $268, and the monthly payment Dimitri came back with was over $500. I told him those numbers wouldn't work, and told him that I had been pre-approved by Capital one. He then began to "explain" to me -- like I was a 4 year old -- that Capital One pre-approved me to get me into the dealership, but that the #s they provided would not be the exact prices, etc. He asked me if I knew my credit score. I told him that I did -- truth be told, I monitor my credit score every month, and I know exactly what it is. The credit score he said he had gotten was 40-50 points less than what Expedia had. I understand that different credit agencies show different credit scores, but this was a significant difference. Dimitri then told me that the pricing he was showing me was from Capital One. He called back to someone and said, "These numbers are from Capital One, right? That's what I thought." I told him that I had never mentioned the Capital One pre-approval to Barry. Dimitri again said, "Yes you did. That's who these numbers are from" and I again reiterated that I had not mentioned my pre-approval. We asked why the price had jumped to almost $17,000, and VERY CONDESCENDINGLY he said, "Have you ever bought a car before??" At that point, my husband and I walked out. We will NEVER EVER deal with Victory Chevrolet again, and we will be sure to let any and everyone we know what a horrible place it is. I will also be reaching out to Capital One to let them know about the horrible and fraudulent experience we had. Btw, we went to another dealership and bought a car that same day. That "no vehicle rolls off this lot without it" . "You can always refinance it later but for now you have to use ours". Excuse me?
