Paul Ouellette, broker at NSR (aka Eagle Moving Group), assured me everything would run smoothly during his sales pitch, including linking me to Perfectly Fast Moving as the actual moving guys. But the minute I signed on the dotted line, customer service was nonexistent from both NSR and PF. On moving day, the PF guys showed up without straps or moving blankets and refused to take 30% of my stuff, smoking in my face while denying me the service. My broker, Paul, was unreachable, and Said, despite saying to "talk to him day of if there any issues" was also unreachable. Aside from not taking 30% of my stuff, the movers gave a cascading list of excuses, starting with "we didn't bring straps" to "you are using too much space" (although I measured everything and was well under my cubic foot allowance) to "well, maybe you're not using all the space, but we can't stack higher than 2-3 boxes or else things will break, so if we don't take anything, nothing will arrive broken." Except that promise! Things were missing and broken. Worse yet, while PF said they "fired" the pickup guys for their misinformation, thereby taking no responsibility for their workers representing them, the delivery guys were sloppy. They did not put anything down on the floors to protect from their dirty shoes and dolly. They let the dolly drop step-by-step in a brand new house with new carpet like a toddler who doesn't understand how damage happens. And, they hit one of the walls. Beyond this, my fragile stuff like furniture, drawers and a bike that should have been wrapped in blankets prior to the cross-country move arrived without, with destruction to some items and damage to others, especially every corner that could be damaged. Several of my plastic bins were broken, although the delivery guys tried to hide it by unloaded with the damaged side facing away from me, but I turned everything to find the labels and noticed the damage. Meanwhile, other items were completely missing. Besides this, the broker assured me delivery within 9-21 days from pickup (12/5/24 pickup with worst case 12/26/24 delivery), while the pickup guys told me to make sure I got to my destination within two weeks. So, I rushed, crossing the country, and the 14 days passed, the 21 days passed, and they finally called me on 1/15/25 at 8 pm with 13 hours notice that they would arrive the next morning at 9 am. That's a lot more than 21 days, and a lot less than 24 hours notice for delivery. I'm glad more wasn't missing or damaged, but all these issues were preventable, and promising to be responsive and helpful and assure me a good experience while going unresponsive and pointing fingers at the broker who points the fingers at the mover who points the fingers at the bad employee... just left me in a pool of unaccountable liars. I will never use movers again; I will simply do it myself, even if it costs more, because in the end, it still cost me -- with damaged items, with late items I had to replace while delayed, and with peace of mind. While I can submit a claim for the damaged and missing items, $0.60 per pound helps you replace nothing, so I'll instead be leaving reviews and then submitting claims with the Better Business Bureau and State Attorney General.   Bottom line: Absolutely avoid this (and all other) movers and just do it yourself.

By the way, the ONLY thing you can use a legitimate payment method for (credit card) is the security deposit you pay. ALL other transactions have to be cash or money orders that have to be left blank. The most unprofessional, unreliable process I've ever dealt with using a moving company, and I've moved several times in the past decade. Pick-up/loading team in Arizona was two guys who showed up over 90 minutes past the delivery window and were at my home until after midnight. Even though my inventory matched what the estimate stated, I was UPCHARGED ALMOST $1500 on the spot and was told none of my things would be loaded if I didn't agree to the new charges. Unbelievable. The loaders caused HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS OF DAMAGES to my home as the loaders were too careless and lazy to figure out how to take apart my couches. They charged me an additional $300 because my couches were heavy and "didn't come apart". It took me 5 minutes and one YouTube video to figure out how to do this, but the "PROFESSIONAL MOVERS" somehow couldn't figure this out. They instead frustratedly rammed my couches into my walls and doorframe over and over and over again causing significant damages. Some pictures of said damage are attached below, and this is only a few of the pictures. They absolutely destroyed my $3000 couch because they were too lazy to do their jobs appropriately. I've attached pictures of my broken couch as well. It is now crooked and no longer reclines. Completely broken. I called over and over again in the days following pick-up because my experience was so negative and I had a horrible feeling about the whole process. I was assured by the salesman who took my deposit, another person in the sales department, and the pick-up loading team that my things would be delivered by Sunday, Feb. 16th. I called over and over again to get this confirmed but their customer service team is unreachable once they have your money. When I finally talked to a real person, I was told that my things would take up to 30 days to arrive and was rudely hung up on and subsequently NOBODY would return my phone calls. I called my credit card company immediately in regard to the deposit I paid and report the company, and this was the ONLY thing that got the company's attention-- they miraculously found my job quickly and said delivery would arrive at the initially scheduled window. Again, unbelievable. I was called at nearly 9PM at night on Thursday 2/13 and told my things would be delivered at 6AM the following morning, 2/14. The movers didn't arrive until after 2PM on 2/14 (there was bad weather during this portion of the process, which I understand and was very patient with). After drop-off, I discovered that Perfectly Fast failed to deliver several of my things and somehow lost/didn't deliver two of the giant, 27 gallon storage containers that I had hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of tools, kitchen items, and other valuables that were important to me. They don't even file their own damage/missing items claims, they go through a 3rd party agency that I'm now trying to deal with. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody, ever. The entire experience has been a nightmare from start to finish and if I can help even one other person on planet earth from having to go through this, I will. PLEASE do yourself a favor and use literally any other moving company that you can find. This is the most unprofessional, illegitimate moving company ever, it was worse than I ever could have imagined.

After escalating the issue via email to multiple contacts, I finally received a reply from the founder, Ali. After weeks of back-and-forth, including a very difficult phone call, no resolution was reached. I requested reimbursement for the $650 in third-party costs caused directly by their delays and handling (HOA overtime and the additional mover for my couch). I did not request reimbursement for the additional $700 charged during the move. Communication has since stopped entirely, and I was ultimately told to pursue legal action. What was initially quoted as a $2,500 move ended up costing me over $4,000 due to delays, additional charges, and lack of follow-through. This was not just poor service... it was disorganized, misleading, and ultimately very costly. I would not recommend this company.

Leading up to my appointment, I received no follow up confirmation two days before my move like the confirmation email stated. So I decided to follow up. It was only then did I start getting the confirmation that I was all set for my move on 12/14. I was told the crew would arrive between 8am-10am. The morning of my move no one arrived. No one called to follow up with me or provide an update. I called in at 10am asking for an update. It was only then did they tell me there was an issue with the truck. Why did I have to chase down this information? They told me the crew would now arrive at 11am. No one showed up. I called back in around 11:50am asking for an update because at this point I was so behind schedule. The person I spoke to had no clue what was going on. Luckily the crew ended up arriving at 10mins later. Due to this delay I missed the reservation I had booked for the loading dock at my new apartment and I missed my internet installation. I then had to wait a whole week to get it installed. This may not seem like a big deal but for someone who works from home, it was. The lack of communication and professionalism is why I will never use this service again. Moving is already so stressful and I hired movers to help the process go smoother.
