It is safe and flat to approach building even for those with canes or in wheelchairs. Baby Carriages also will have no problem. The rooms are reasonably priced and in great condition. They certainly provide a great service to the community. The outer coverings will need to be updated in at least the next two seasons. They are worse for wear but still not unattractive. The best thing, I feel, about this building is it shape and design. Inside it takes on much the aspect of a small sports arena, and that's fine because there is an ice rink here. Outside the building has a modern look and sweeping lines. Unexpected in this small, quiet, residential neighborhood. The seating outside the building features comfortable benches. This is good and convenient but the smoking pylons are pushed up against them so anyone seated would need to deal with the smell or the possibility of a smoker making an appearance. There are two small areas that appear to be gardens but are more like gathering places and entryways. They are picturesque. At least one of the rooms has a wall completely set out in mirrors which is very attractive. There is a lot of light in that room and combined with the straight curtains it provides a classical 1960's look that is clean and bright while still being modern.

The temperature was perfect inside so you don't have to be super bundled up to get on the ice. They had lots of questions on items for sale in the case and the staff was patient with them while answering them. The ice condition was a bit on the 'soft' side. The arena and rink were clean and free of any clutter. Was expecting some colored lights during the Glow Skate session. Only the lights were dimmed. Also, music was played so only barely audible. On plus side the rental skates looked fairly new and in great shape. Only noticed hockey skates for rent and no figure skates.

I am so impressed with everyone who worked on this job…read more The job was tearing out a (mostly) single lane driveway and putting in a full double drive, replacing several city sidewalk slabs and removing the entire path to the front door - with a curved path replacing it in another location. The workmen were SO patient with me, not rushing me or pressuring me at all when early on in the process I questioned the precise placement of the new path (rather important for curb appeal). (I was second-guessing myself and wasn't sure I'd made the right decision). Adjustments were made, and it looked much better ALL thanks to their input. Our former driveway/path/sidewalk has problems for years - ever since we moved in. The Rotondo crew figured out there was a problem with the grade and now when it rains .. it drains! What a concept! No more skating rinks come winter! Am so thankful and appreciative of the excellent work Rotondo did. Every member of the crew that I had interaction with was polite, kind, patient and friendly. It is without any reservation that I recommend this company. Truly a pleasure.

Unless it's Eddie Edgar, but I digress. The sheet of ice is grand and they maintain it well. I suggested a few changes in the boards and stanchions to improve upon the safety of someone hitting the glass. I don't think it's in their budget. They stared back at me with a stupider expression than people usually do. The staff are pretty chill and among the best. One of the few places where the bleacher heaters are always on. They do a sensational job cleaning and disinfecting the locker rooms. I know I appreciate that. Overall, a very well controlled ice arena. 1/20
