I hadn't been on skates in years, and it showed. Yes, I was wobbling around that rink like a new born. Yes, I fell but I got up and fell again Lol! I just see to be a good skater, I don't know where my skate sense went? I'm goi g to buy my own skates and get back to skating. It's great exercise and it's fun! The rink was clean, smooth and the DJ was jamming the sounds! Yes, the price of skating has increased over the years, so has everything else, expect to bring over $20.00. If you get tired of skating you can watch the large screen Tv or play video games or pool. The snack bar was closed but vending machine were available with snack and drinks. I was looking for skate lessons for my 7 yr old in and around this area. When I found this place online, I was not sure what to expect. So I called them enquire about the skate lessons. They said you just have to come and register the day of the class you wanted to be in - if your kid is a beginner. They had the class schedule posted on their website so I picked Tuesday at 5.30 as it worked best for us. Since Jan of this year both me and my kid have been regulars at the Tuesday lesson! .... Yes, I decided to learn skating myself and the teachers here are awesome! The price for 5 weeks (30 mins per lesson) is only 60$ - $12 per class; and skate rentals included. That is not bad at all. It wasn't till I visited here that I found out - I can skate! My son loves it too and doesn't want to miss a class. They are packed on days where they are open for public. Schools have special days here and you can host birthday parties here too! I like the atmosphere a lot and would definitely recommend other skaters to check it out. read more

The people who run this rink have terrible customer service. The rink itself is nice. One example: we were taking roller dance lessons on a Wednesday evening. I couldn't hear the instructor over somebody vacuuming the carpet. Manager got involved and told me they were vacuuming anyway and if I couldn't hear the instructor then that was my problem. I paid for a lesson in their rink that they sabotaged with the vacuuming! Bad management!! read more

Came here for my niece's 7th birthday party on a Sunday afternoon. I noticed there was a good amount of kids there skating and having fun. They do little games for the kids too like racing on skates and dancing. They even have these white pole like items on wheels for the kids who can't quiet keep their balance on the rink yet. They hold on to them while they skate. I thought that was cool. There was an arcade section, a concession stand, and tables to sit and eat. What was a little confusing was how the birthday party was set up. They pulled out 2 large tables with benches attached right in front of the concession stand area. Then presented the pizza, drinks, cake, and ice cream. I thought they would have like a separate room or something for birthday parties but I guess not. read more

KEEP YOUR BLACK DOLLARS During a verbal altercation amongst children skating manager, Sam forced only the black and Asian kids to be removed from the vicinity. When the parents arrived and questioned the manager, as to why she didn't listen to the other kids side of the story her answer was, "I don't know". Had she listened to both sides of the story she would have learned that these children were not the ones to initiate the altercation. As a circle of 20 children surrounded this small group of black and Asian kids, threatening to jump them no one came to the rescue instead, they were placed as the corporates and were forced to get out. We have encouraged our community to NOT support this business with blatantly discrimination against minorities. Myself and 4 other parents are proceeding with legal action. read more

First time roller skating is nearly twenty years! The venue is clean, play list was ok. Everything is just so expensive, especially the concessions. $18 for a cheese or pepperoni pizza, $3.25 for a small drink. If you are taking a family of 4 be prepared to spend at $100 for entry, skate rental, lockers, and snacks. Other then the costs had a really good time. read more

Had a great time. New carpet throughout really spruced things up. Music was good and not too loud. Lights we lowered but not too dark. Only suggestion would be to offer pop-up lessons. Maybe a 20 min lesson in the center of the rink for anyone that is a beginner while other people can skate uninterrupted. This would be great!! read more

Okay my girls come skating every weekend for the most part to skate and hang out with their friends and I usually sit and watch to make sure they are safe. Last night I didn't go with them but they called me after a few hours asking me to drive up there to bring them a bandaids because they had blisters. They asked at the front desk for some and the food area and they both said they had none. I can't believe a roller skating rink doesn't have bandaids?!?!?! I tried calling there to talk to a manager about it to really confirm that my girls were right and no one picked up the phone. Not that I don't believe my girls but I just wanted to see. I am just not happy that they don't have a first aid kit that has bandaids. Guess the next time my girls go there I will make sure I bring bandaids for them! read more

My daughter wanted a skating party for her birthday so after calling around to a few places and pulling up websites, I found this place to have the best package that suited my needs, and allowed for my non skating relatives to come too! The venue is not the fanciest in the area, but it's far from the oldest. The rink was smooth and well kept. There was a smell of floor wax (similar to a bowling alley) but no offensive odors other than that. The lighting was good in the eating/party areas and darker on and around the rink, which is typical. The rental skates for the kids and adults seemed to be typical of any roller rink. not brand new, but not super old either. The lot seemed relatively new, and smooth. (You can't turn left into the lot from Joy Rd. so take Ronda drive to the back entrance or enter through the storage place next door and double back around the front of the business center if you're coming from the east.) Don't bring a lot of belongings or prepare to rent a locker or leave them in your vehicle. there's not a lot of room for that sort of thing. The party package allowed for one long picnic type table to seat 20 people. If we all sat there, it would have been tight, but since we spent most of our time watching the skaters from the benches and bleachers around the rink and mingling about, it wasn't an issue. There is ample space in the party areas, although the tables are relatively close together. We were able to bring our own cake and small favor bags for the guests. Once the reservation and deposit is paid, you get a list to complete for your skaters that must be turned in at least three days ahead of the party, and should include additional food orders. This allows the venue to let people in without you having to gather them outside the building. They were great about switching non-skaters to skaters at the last minute. (Some of the adults got brave) They also let parents bring their kids in to drop them off, and pick them up. Safe and friendly. The party is a one hour time period in the middle of an open skate. (Our open skate was 3 hours total) during that time, your child guests will have pizza, a drink, and ice cream, and the cake we brought is served for all the guests. You can order additional pizza and soda pitchers for the adults, who can serve themselves for the duration.(This is typical to what I've had at other kid party venues) They had birthday plates and cups for the kids and also plain ones for us grown ups. They served each child an ice cream cup with their cake. Upon arrival we were greeted with two very friendly hosts that did an amazing job of making sure we had everything we needed. Serving everything and checking back, but allowing us to manage the sequence of events for the party. After our 'hour was up' they came back to settle the remaining balance on the party with a detailed invoice that accurately detailed all of the expenses. Since there was not another party scheduled, they allowed us to stay at our table for a bit to send off our relatives and clear out our presents and stuff. The DJ did a great job of playing Tween appropriate music and typical roller rink games (Hokey pokey, wipeout, shoot the duck etc.) and played happy birthday for my daughter when it was time for the party to start. The party was during the matinee skate. My daughter had a great time, and I was very pleased at how easy the venue made everything. read more

So I took my kids out to get some physical activity but called prior to going and asked if we were required to preregistration, I was told that they cut off when they reach their limit. So I felt pretty comfortable. We arrived and only had one family in front of us and it did not appear to be too busy, so we paid and entered. When we walked in it was like a huge COVID pool party. I do feel bad for businesses that have lost revenue due to the pandemic and I can see why businesses are frustrated and trying to make up any way they can. But I did not know I was in Florida or Texas. Well at least they did enforce masks, and that's where the two stars come from. My entire time there I did not see any sanitizing happening except a little spray into the rental shoes. read more

I had my daughters birthday party here which went well and all of the kids had fun. The price is not bad either. Things I disliked and will probably prevent me from having another party here was that they don't give you water... they charge 25 cents per cup. You have kids roller skating around for hours and they charge for water??? And the drinking fountain does not work so that's not an option either. To me that is absolutely ridiculous. Another dislike was the lady who works at the front, she is not friendly at all, not even to children.. if you don't like kids then don't work at a place crawling with kids. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. They need to be sued for negligence. I had the WORST experience there. The workers for the 1-6pm sat. crowd were rude and uncaring. The floor was dirty and unkempt, and they had the nerves to admit for that session they were not going to clean. 1. There was all kinds of debris on the floor, toilet tissue, pens, candy and chip wrappers. I went and told the DJ to announce for people to be careful and warn the establishment, AND THEY STILL REFUSED to have someone pick it up. 2. I even picked up some, their excuse to me was that the kids are nasty and they won't be cleaning up behind them until after the session was over. That's an entire 5 hours of skating with dangerous debris on the floor. Now how is that even safe? Yes kids make a mess from time to time, but it is your responsibility to take care of it especially since your price is 8.00 to get in and then another few bucks to rent skates. 3. Then the food is overpriced and so are the toys for the kids, so you would think they could afford to have someone clean and patrol the floor. 4. When I got hurt on the floor from all the scattered debris, they showed as much compassion as you would to a fly making contact with the BE-GONE fly swatter. Never heard of it? They just wanted you to be smashed, shut up and be gone. 5. I found this skating rink to be very irresponsible and the managers named Tina Graham, a very nasty person, she was so rude, whispering and telling one of the workers not listen to my complaint and concerns, which made the worker scared and act rude also. And, especially Manager Steve Rollet is a menace to public relations. They did not know how to talk to patrons and were very despicable. I will never return to this dirty unkempt floors skating rink. 6. Definitely not worth your time or energy or money. 7. It is quite frankly an endangerment to your kids. The Managers on duty the night I went in will be my FIRST and LAST. And I had planned on coming quite a bit, because I thought in Canton the rinks would be better in other areas. SO NOT TRUE, THIS IS A HORRIBLE RINK! I was so wrong. 8. There was one nice manager coming in for the next session when we were leaving, after I just had had a not-so-nice debate with Steve. She was the best thing about the entire establishment; she was compassionate and caring, but too late, DAMAGE DONE! Awful. read more

I had purchased a groupon online for four skating passes with skate rentals and a drink included for each person. First and foremost: the potholes in the parking lot are atrocious. Avoid the Joy Road entrance if you can, lest your car will be destroyed by these massive potholes. However, they were considerate enough to put an orange traffic cone in the middle of the one of the larger ones. Upon entry into the lobby, we were greeted with a stench unlike any other. I cannot describe it, other than the fact that it made us all ill. The counter woman took a few minutes to help us, but was nice overall. The skate rental boys were unprofessional, leering at both me and my younger cousin. All the employees were apathetic and clearly did not want to be there. The skates themselves were disgusting, sweaty and unwashed. The entire place could use a deep clean. Everything from the bathrooms, to the eating area, to the rink itself was sticky and gross. We left after about 45 minutes and will not consider returning. read more

Skatin' Station II is the same in 2011 as it was in 1995 -- there hasn't been one update. The skates are still a mess, the star-spangled carpet is still sticky, and the food is still too expensive. However, we went on Sunday's old school R&B night, and it was a fun, non-traditional date. If you want to feel like you're in middle school all over again, I highly recommend getting your groove on on Sunday nights. read more

I'm a mentor at the school I work for and I brought my mentees here. I purchased a Groupon for 4 and also received a free medium drink with the coupon. The skating was nice and big and it was perfect for families. They played kosher music, no hip-hop or rap, that's only played on certain days. All in all the girls really enjoyed it. read more

Clean, lots of new or slightly used skates for rent, reasonable prices all around. The DJs are good, top 40 mostly but if the requests are heavy on hip hop or old school the music will sway that way. I spent a pretty penny on the party package ($125.00) for 10 kids minimum to book the party. I had 14 kids present, and was over charged by 5 kids. I was robbed. There was insufficient staffing. Food (pizza) and drink was set out to get cold, and the beverge was served in cups and not covered. The DJ was totally wack despite repeated requests. Aside from the 30 guest I had present there was only 6 to 8 other people there, so what was the big deal. The kids had fun skating, dispite the old, beat down skates. read more

I arrived here with my family friends to pick up my friend's kids and was charged to go inside and retrieve them. It was 10:30 and the rink closed at 11:00, but the worker refused to let us in without a $8.00 fee for all three of us. Don't go here! My kids (twins age 9) participated in the reading program over the summer at Canton library. As a reward for reading they were given free open skate certificates from this place. There was NO EXPIRATION DATE on their certificates. Upon arrival I was told that that would not honor the certificates because they were expired. I was told that apparently the library knew when they expired and it was posted there somewhere?? That's crazy, and yes, they watched me walk my sad and disappointed children out of the building. read more
