The carpeted wall goes around the entire rink which is great for us beginners as many rinks don't have the full wall. The arcade is expansive and there is an indoor jungle gym for younger children. My avid skating friend shared that the music played at this roller rink has a better vibe with classic upbeat pop and a mix of newer songs such as Chappell Roan compared to roller rinks that are further north such as the Troy and Waterford area.

The facility is pretty awesome…read more Inline Hockey Center pretty much always has something going on, and is also home to the Motor City Revive of the National Roller Hockey League. So along with the professional sized inline hockey rink, there is also a smaller rink right behind it that hosts the Michigan Floor Hockey League. I have played here many times, and always have had a fun experience. The facilities are well maintained, the staff is friendly, and the hockey players that I associate with are all top notch people.

They boast clean locker rooms and a NHL sized sheet of ice. Not just ice hockey and figure skating. They have nice roomy open skate sessions. Most times this is followed by a fun event called "Sticks & Pucks. The large ice surface is perfect for this. You can also rent the facility for birthday parties or pickup hockey. Roughly 14 years later, the Plymouth Bowl was closed in 1992, due to the age of the equipment and its much needed replacement. With the growing interesting in hockey as a high school sport in Michigan, local businessman John Stansik and several others decided to buy this place and turn it into hockey arena. Currently, this arena is home to Victory Honda AAA Hockey Club, The Livonia Ladywood Girls Varsity Hockey Club, Kim Muir's "Can't Skate, Can't Play" power skating clinics, and the RSPI Adult Hockey League, where I was able to catch one of their games. With no end to the current NHL lockout in sight, you can attend one of the many events that take place at this local arena. Arctic Pond features the EDGEZ Pro-Shop, which can help you with all of your equipment needs. Moreover, the part I like the most is it doesn't cost an arm and leg to attend the events here. Only 2 of us needed to use the rental skates included with the open skate. The skates handed to me were extremely dull, I tried them on the ice, then went to switch them out. 3 groups of people were waiting and no one was servicing us. One man yelled back toward to office to see if he could leave some skates. Finally the same check in guy from before answered. I then asked if there was someone to switch my skates. He grumpily came over, I told him the pair I was turning in were very dull, and he put up another pair. I felt those and told him. His response, "it's what you get with rental skates." Rude.

They had lots of questions on items for sale in the case and the staff was patient with them while answering them. The ice condition was a bit on the 'soft' side. The arena and rink were clean and free of any clutter. Was expecting some colored lights during the Glow Skate session. Only the lights were dimmed. Also, music was played so only barely audible. On plus side the rental skates looked fairly new and in great shape. Only noticed hockey skates for rent and no figure skates.
