Let me start by saying Dr. Madrigal is AMAZING! He always takes care of my health needs. This review is solely based on the front desk. Not sure where the ball is being dropped but they NEVER answer the phone. I called about three times last Friday, I was repeatedly put on hold and it kept hanging up after being on hold for so long. I called Monday left a voicemail regarding a refill and they never responded. I called twice today. Not even an answer they just picked up the phone and put the call on hold LOL!! I guess I'll just have to drive there until I find another office. I seriously do not recommend coming to this clinic. Dr. Madrigal is great but it is such a hassle to actually get a hold of anyone via phone. I also attempted to get a refill and they sent one medication to one pharmacy and the other to another pharmacy. Absolute chaos. read more

Horrible clinic, I hate this place getting someone to answer is ridiculous. Doctor Madrigal is an amazing doctor but his staff is trash. I needed to know my mom's test results and no one freaken answered. There's no way of communicating with them, I've gone to the clinic multiple times and they're just sitting on their ass. They can easily answer the phone or at least have a voicemail that lets you leave a message and have a call back. Other clinics I've called to are courteous enough to return your call. If this clinic can't handle having too many patients it should not be a clinic at all. Doctor Madrigal needs new staff members. read more

The bad part is that I had an appointment and still two people went in before me. One person came in with her daughter and was seen without an appointment before me. Doesn't matter what time you call their office they don't pick up. Even today I tried calling 4 different times. Once at 1pm, 1:30, 2, and 3pm. I do not understand!!!!! I came in as a walk in to get medication and waited from 2:30-5:40. I got blood work done and they told me to come before 5. I had made an appointment for a physical, and the only thing Dr Leon did was listen to my heart and lungs and write an Rx refill and referrals for blood work and a mammo. This will mean making other appointments, as well as a follow-up at Vida. Wishing I had gone somewhere that does the women's wellness exams on the first visit (Dr Leon will only do it on subsequent visits) and an in-house lab would be more convenient, as well. I work full time and it's not so easy to take a million days or half-days off to handle what could be done in one or two visits, only. The facility is much more suited for urgent care at the moment, but they are going to stop waking walk-ins in 2020, so maybe that will change. read more

The actual doctor's visits have been just fine, but I've had to get a bunch of referrals over the last 12-18 months for specialists, and every single time I've received my referral in the mail, went to make an appointment w/the specialist, only to find they can't even give me an appointment because they 1) haven't been sent my referral (which this office has to send them in the computer system) or 2) that they've received *none* of my records (again, this office's job is to send that stuff). Then when I try to call this office to ask them to do the work they were supposed to do *weeks* before, no one ever answers, it's always booted over to the answering service, and I never get a call back (or an email, or a note in the mail). I just had to put off even trying to make an appointment with one specialist due to unexpected life stuff keeping my schedule up-in-the-air, and 6 weeks after *I* received the referral in the mail *the specialist still* hadn't received my referral or my records. I get that things have been awful because of covid, but this is absolutely insane. read more

The only reason I continued to come was for Dr. Madrigal, he is absolutely wonderful but not worth the torture of this place. When I called to get info on the walk-in protocol all he said was arrive early, line up outside (as we did during covid) and we'll take names. He said they are accepting more patients. This is only after calling several times for over an hour and a half to no answer. Kept saying to call back during business hours between 9-4. I called between 12-1:30. I arrived before seven to find a line of empty chair as if it was a concert ticket sale line from the 80s. Ok. I took my place and waited for two hours only to have a swarm of people arrive just before they opened. One chair holding spots for 4 people plus. The worst part was only to find out that I have wasted my time at this GHETTO location because they are only taking 15 patients. Why couldn't they have said that when I called. How am I supposed to know what number I am when there are less chairs than people lined up. Never again! Would not recommend this place to a soul. Don't waste your time, because that is all it is. You'll have better luck at a free clinic, urgent care or hospital. This place sucks!!!!! read more

I have no complaints about dr. Leon but the COVID policy that walk in appt that they are seeing no more than 25 patients a day is stupid I was outside in my car since 6:30 am !!!! No policy states on their windows that you actually need to be in line. That's why I waited in my car and the people after did the same thing but some jack ass took advantage and went straight to wait in line. So I was like whatever about it I'm going to talk to the staff once they opened up and they respond was I'm sorry whoever is in line first. So they pretty much telling me that who cares if you took the extra mile to come in at 6:30 in the morning and still not put any sign about the waiting outside policy. I cant express enough how thankful I am to have found this facility. They treat you with the utmost professional care from check in until the moment you check out. I've been seen by both Dr.Leon and P.A Madrigal, both who practice medicine like an art. Normally, they go by appointment only due to their high volume of patient. However, I called early in the morning and they took me in the same day for my fever. They take the time to demonstrate they care along with going out of their way to make sure I was taken care of at every moment during my i-v therapy. I couldn't be more pleased with how management runs this facility and the staff's bed-side manner. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care! read more

this Clinic only has one doctor who is a DO. DO's are not MD. MD is generally a more respected physician for a number of reasons. There paper work requires consent to arbitration which waves statutory remedies and rights if a a legal matter develops. One must ask themselves why this clinic is concerned about hedging themselfs in the event of legal matters. I do not forefit my legal rights ever. i left and never saw this doctor. read more

I would give zero starvif that were an option. They asked me to arrive at 8:30am for my appointment. I arrived 8:20am and found the clinic was not open until 9:00am. The first medical report they provided was wrong and I asked for a correction. The second report submitted was wrong again!!! The nurse was a rookie and could not even withdraw the blood. The wait is long if you don't have an appointment but it is well worth the wait. A friend had athlete's foot that got infected so I was searching for podiatrists and dermatologists all over the Chino/ Montclair area. I must have called 10 offices that all closed early on Fridays (by 4 pm) and charged over $100 for initial consultations w/no health insurance. I found this clinic by searching for emergency health clinics on Google. I called and was relieved that they closed at 7 pm and the visit would start at $25 w/no insurance. The office is located on the north side of Moreno St. The interior is clean and organized, I was very pleased. The receptionist was polite and helpful. There were only about three other patients in the office, and my friend got called in pretty fast. He was seen by Dr. Martin who is very nice. He answered all our questions and even suggested Target or Walmart to pick up the prescriptions. Definitely call this office and see if they can help you. read more

My husband and I always go to the la habra location, but the doctor won't be in until Friday so he had to go to the Montclair location. My husband has been there for 2 1/2 hours and still hasn't seen a doctor, he has a simple ear infection and just needs a quick consultation. I understand that waiting is part of the urgent care experience but this is just crazy. I feel so bad for him.
