I'll start by saying service was a little meh took a while to take our order and the place was busy with loud music. The food and drinks however where very good and tasty. Good portions as well!

2 stars cause food was decent but service was questionable. 1st. After we were seated, it took 15 minutes before anyone came to take our orders or bring even water. This was after we flagged someone down and asked where our waiter was. 2nd. After we got the bill, I swiped my credit card and added 18% tip. After I already paid, I found out that there was automatic gratuity of 20% already added (we were only two people!). This is ridiculous.

Finally got to try the place. The bread they give you is so delicious especially with the butter . We spent about $200+ on 2 plates,4 drinks plus tip. Drinks werent that strong but food was good. Husband got some steak with shrimp that was excellent. I got some fried platter which wasn't bad but boy were the jalapeños stuffed spicy. Waitress did take a while here and there but eh I guess. Finding the restroom was a bit hard they have em in a weird spot. Other than that it was an ok place.

We often pass by this restaurant but finally stopped in recently--and we're so glad we did! We went on a Saturday evening, and the place had such a vibrant vibe. The fun music really set the mood for a perfect weekend night out. The dining area is spacious with plenty of natural light and great window views. As for the food--everything we tried was fantastic. The Pollo del Mar was incredible, with a perfect balance of chicken and shrimp. We also customized a vegan fajita loaded with our favorite veggies, and it turned out delicious. Our kid enjoyed his chicken quesadillas from the kids' menu. The spicy watermelon margaritas were a hit--just the right level of heat and a generous pour. The staff was warm and friendly, making the experience even better. We learned they host live band performances on weekend nights, and we're already planning to come back for that! Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and fantastic service--highly recommend!

The waitress was eating in a table right behind me and serving tables at the same time. I spoke with the manager on duty about it. They need to stop bad behaviors. The food is good.

We've been here a few times - mostly to watch the Olympic soccer games & have some good seafood. Their ceviche was great & they make a good guacamole. I get the molcajete and it comes out sizzling hot. The last time we went my chicken had a weird texture that I cant describe, but that was a fluke. I love the flavors that pull together in this dish!

1st time at Vida Mariscos, and will definitely come again. We came on a Friday night around 8:30 pm, and the parking lot was packed. We had to park in the way back. There is a security patrolling the area on a golf cart. Once entered, we didn't wait long to be seated. We ordered drinks: the spiked pineapple, and the pineapple dragon fruit margarita. Both very great & full of flavor! I do wish there wasn't so much ice in my margarita. Felt like most of the drink was ice. For our meal we ordered the Parrillada Capitán, which included a lobster tail, chorizo, chicken fajita meat, 10oz fish fillet with scallops, and cactus. Everything came out hot and was amazing. We did wish the lobster was removed from the tail as parts of the tail mixed in with the food, and made it hard to cut/share. Our waitress was hard to get at some points just because of how busy they were, so expect that. But she was very responsive and prompt, otherwise. There is a live band playing inside, and the ambiance was casual. An awesome place to go with a group of friends. We will be returning!

Plenty of choices between seafood and Mexican food. Pretty loud music with Dj or at times a band. Found a hair in rice and they took it back and prep another one but not the same. Rice was not comp. Waitresses worried about ambience instead of service at times. She charged overcharged us for a drink, stay alert to you order.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and was seated right away for a group of 8. We started off with drinks and I ordered the spicy watermelon margarita, which was one of their seasonal drinks. We ordered the following items: Chicharron de tilapia ($9.99) - This was fried tilapia chunks with habanero and creamy cilantro sauce. I was expecting the fish to be more fried/battered and crunchy, but it was more of a fried fish and the fish was super tender. This was pretty tasty and I would probably order this again. Ceviche aguachile ($15.99) - I love ceviche so I definitely had to order one and this one caught my attention because it's marinated in a spicy lime-based green sauce. The flavors were spot on with the perfect amount of lime and spice in each bite. Would definitely recommend this if you're a fan of lime-y ceviche. Paella ($59.99) - This is supposed to be for 2 people and comes with plenty of fish fillets, grilled octopus, shrimp, scallops, mussels, and calamari, served with their special rice. Flavors were really good and the portions were enough to share with more than two people. Compared to some other paella that I've had, the price was a bit on the steeper end, but it did come with a good amount of seafood. Vida Parrillada ($49.99) - This is also for 2 people to share and comes with fish, grilled shrimp, crab stuffed shrimp, and beef/chicken fajitas with a side of Mexican rice, beans, pico, and guacamole. This was also big enough to feed more than two people, so a great entrée to share with a group of people. Everything we ordered was really tasty, and I would definitely recommend the dishes that we ordered. The only downside was that the mariachi bands that come by and play songs while you're eating is VERY loud, so it's difficult to even have a conversation at the table if they are standing next to you or in the same vicinity. It also felt like they came by every 15-ish minutes or so. Other than that, a fun spot to check out if you're in the mood for some delicious Mexican food with lots of seafood options!

    Shrimp Soup

Been here twice before and food was amazing. Today decided to try their shrimp seafood and it was very, very disappointing. There was 2 big pieces of celery, a big piece of potato, and 3 pieces of small shrimp smaller than the celery and potato. Not to mention the taste was not so great it tasted very, very fishy. For $16.00 I would expect more vegetables and shrimp. It did come with a small chicken taco as I got the lunch special. Still felt like $16.00 was a bit too much for 3 pieces of shrimp soup and a taco. Would I come back? Yes. I just would never order their shrimp soup again. Other than that service was super amazing, ambience was great, place is very, very clean.

The moment I drive up to find parking, it felt like I was in Cancun vibes . The parking and restaurant decor is colorful and I love it. Hostess was kind and friendly. Surprisingly there was a dancing band and singer and I enjoyed every bit of it. The only problem was that it was too loud that it was impossible to talk among one another so I basically had to yell to converse. Food and service was excellent. Very attentive and quick. I ordered the grilled octopus and now I want to come back for more. Margarita is on point too, I will definitely come back again.

We were hoping to grab some food, drinks, and catch the WNBA games while we were there. From the moment we walked in, the hostess and bartenders were extremely welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed to find out that they didn't have WNBA League Pass--even though the Dream vs. Mercury game was actually listed on their clipboard of sporting events for the day. So, we ended up sitting in a sports bar watching the game on our phones. That was probably the biggest disappointment of the visit. Walk-On's is a sports bar, and practically every TV was showing preseason NFL games. Those games don't even count toward the regular season, while the WNBA game we wanted to watch had actual playoff implications. I would really love to see Walk-On's invest in WNBA League Pass and give patrons the opportunity to watch women's sports too. Women's sports deserve space on the TVs in sports bars just like men's sports do. Everyone Watches Women's Sports. Thankfully, the food and service were good enough that we stayed and still had a great time. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos with chips and queso, and they were fabulous! My date ordered the redfish tacos and said they were amazing, and our friend had the gumbo. The crackers served with the gumbo tasted a little stale, but that was really our only complaint about the food. We all had drinks, our bartender was really cool, and overall it turned into a fun, spontaneous outing. We would definitely come back--but Walk-On's, get that WNBA League Pass! If you're going to be a sports bar, let us watch all the sports.

I will say I've heard good things and bad things about this restaurant, but we decided to try it for ourselves. First of all, you walk in, and when you were the only table there, that should've been my sign. We sit down and our waitress was as nice as she can be, let me start with that. First of all, it was so hot in there and we asked the waitress about it and she said yes we know it's hot in here and we don't know why. If so, many people are complaining about the warmth, do something about it figure it out. So we ordered the street taco fries and the breakfast burger. So I asked the waitress what condiments come on the burger? And she says nothing but the cheese, egg, bacon, burger. She then says how would you like that cooked and I said medium. We then asked for no onions on the fries. So my burger comes out with the meat swimming in mayonnaise. Not just a little bit not just a medium, but swimming in it. Then the cheese was missing, yes totally missing. So we call the lady over and she takes it back to the kitchen as my boyfriend's meal is sitting in front of him I tell him to go eat it. Don't wait for me. The fries with the street taco stuff on it were crunchy, which means they were not fresh nor were they hot. So my burger comes back, I start to eat it and it is well done. Now when I say well done, I mean hockey puck well done. The waffle fries, which were hot, were not fresh. So I did not eat those. We then called the waitress over and we tell her about the Berger and I said look I know it's not your fault, but I cannot eat this hockey puck of a burger. So I asked to see the manager So the manager comes over and she apologizes and what have you and then takes it off our bill. Now with this said, yes, they did the right thing, but it felt very disingenuous and just didn't see the care. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this establishment, and I just have to say don't try it. Somebody at this company needs to rework their menu and retrain their staff. If you cannot cook a burger correctly, don't cook burgers. I learned my lesson and not going back to the establishment and it was absolutely a horrible meal. There was nobody in the restaurant except us and another table. So yes, I spent a lot of money for beer, a margarita, and some street taco fries that were disgusting.
