This is our second time eating at this restaurant. My daughter wanted to eat here for her 17th birthday. We love the Cajun feel and music. Along with the variety menu options. There's something for everyone even those who cannot eat seafood because of allergies. The set up is cafeteria style serve yourself. You place your order, grab a tray with flatware, and cups. They give you a buzzer when your food is ready and you seat yourself. It's quick and easy. Service was super fast! We received our food plus any add ons not long after we placed our order. It's now $21.64 My shrimp was cold and the texture of crispy was NOT in existence. I called back several times, left a vm. Maybe I'll hear back. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately, the food fell short for us. The pasta dish had absolutely no Cajun seasoning -- not even a hint. After my first bite, I immediately spit it out because it tasted like something I could easily make at home. It felt like a waste of time and money. If a dish is labeled "New Orleans," I expect bold flavor and spice, and this just didn't deliver. My husband ordered the Blackened Chicken Royale. He said the blackened chicken itself was decent, but everything else on the plate was subpar. I also ordered two pounds of crawfish to give a full review. The crawfish was actually decent, but not memorable enough to bring me back. They had several drink specials, which I appreciated, and the bartender was friendly and cool. However, our drinks didn't have anything particularly special about them. Our bill came to about $85, and we ended up returning the pasta because I couldn't justify paying for something that lacked so much flavor. I ordered the 1/2 po boy, fries, and gumbo (upgraded to bowl) for lunch and I found it to be very satisfying. The oyster po boy was great and filled with fresh and crispy oysters--all I needed was a bit of Louisiana hot sauce to bring it all together. The fries were good as well, but nothing to write home about. The gumbo was the highlight of the meal and I am glad that I upgraded to the bowl. You are given a choice of seafood or chicken and sausage when ordering the gumbo, and I chose the seafood option. The gumbo was filled with crab meat, shrimp, and tons of crawfish tails, all tied together with the deep, rich, and slightly spicy stew. All of the staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful as it was our first time visiting. We've eaten here now 3 times. The first time we had fried seafood and weren't impressed. So glad I waited until this time to review them. Now that it's crawfish season we came here on our daughter's recommendation and they more than made up for the mediocre fried food! This is authentic Cajun crawfish! No spice levels, no different flavors and no goopy garlic butter. Just Louisiana Cajun boil and they're full of flavor! The Hurricane is also nicely boozy! The only drawback is they don't boil their corn or potatoes with the crawfish so they're 100% unseasoned, which is weird considering the authenticity of the crawfish themselves. I always order the crab claws (sautéed or fried), which come with either French fries or dirty rice. Both are great options. This was actually one of my first seafood experiences after moving to Texas and it's still a favorite. The pisto leerte was seasoned well. It is a little like an etoffee stuffed in a French bread ball. The bread was crisp and hardy. First time ordering food from Orleans Seafood. My daughter ordered seafood gumbo and étouffée. I ordered a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo and two boudins. Never heard of boudin being served with pickles and onions. Food was fairly priced and somewhat good. I was unaware that the boudin was spicy because it is not listed. The gumbo is descent. My daughter said that her food was okay but nothing to brag on. Overall, it was a meal that could be tolerated. FYI: Please advise your guests on food that is spicy! Stopped in tonight for dinner with the Hubby. We sat in the bar area and the bartender is always on point! My husband had the Cajun Wings, Boudin Egg Rolls, Strawberry Hennessy, and Concussion. It's dressed well, but the last three times the catfish is non existent, and so thin that there's more batter then fish. We've been going to Orleans for years and I can honestly say the quality has remained unbelievably high. Whether it's the friendly counter staff (who help constantly with getting points, answering questions and other things), the timeliness of the dishes or the food itself (more on that in a sec), Orleans delivers. My absolute fave dish is the stuffed shrimp platter. I've had stuffed shrimp before, but this is by far the best one. Something about the stuffing, which has a deep flavor and has princes or shrimp incorporated into it also, just elevates the entire dish. You also can't go wrong with the classic fried shrimp platter, which has an excellent deal on Thursdays! Every dish really captures the spirit of New Orleans cooking. The inside is homey and informal. There's plenty of room, though Sundays can get crowded fast. A little bit of a drive, but completely worth it! read more

First of all again... the food is excellent, as is the frequent diner program and the service is excellent too. This is an update to my first review. I appreciated Chance (one of the owners) answering my previous initial review. HOWEVER... the issues I originally brought up with the condiments still exists. I went back tonight (8/6/26), got the $19.99 24 shrimp special, a side order of coleslaw, and 2 a la carte stuffed shrimp for a total of $36.87. I asked for 4 extra cocktail sauces and one tartar sauce with my to go order. AGAIN, I was charged $1.00 a piece for the extra condiments, but when I initially asked about it in the bill total they, left out mentioning it again. Because I ordered on the frequent diner program, the receipt came to me electronically in a text, and I happened to look at it... sure enough there was a $4 upcharge they didn't mention when I asked on the receipt. I went back and told them I wanted that refunded and Ian (the manager) refunded it. Alyssa helped me initially and was wonderful but didn't tell me she was charging me for the extra cocktail sauces when first asked, which bothers me because this is now the second time this has happened. Please fix this or make your up charges for condiments at least more reasonable (like .25 cents a piece). It was frustrating to have the same thing happen again with no transparency to it. Loved the food but this policy is is wrong and the way it's being executed "looks /feels sneaky" ( not saying it is, but it feels that way) because of the lack of mentioning it up front, even when asked. This was our second trip and will not be our last. This time my husband and I shared the seafood fondue. My only complaint was there was more bread than fondue. When we go to Papas we have to ask for more bread because we get so much fondue. We also shared the crawfish poboy. I ate half before I took the picture. Whatever sauce was on it was absolutely AMAZING!!! Yummmmm!!! We will definitely do that one again. We also shared a bowl of gumbo. The roux was heavier, almost burnt. Came to Orleans Seafood Kitchen with my boyfriend and had such a good experience. The food was so good. I ordered the shrimp po'boy and char-grilled oysters, and both were 10/10. The shrimp po'boy was perfectly crispy, seasoned really well, and packed with shrimp (no skimping at all). The bread was soft but still had that slight crunch--chef's kiss. The char-grilled oysters were amazing too... super flavorful, buttery, and cooked just right. Definitely recommend getting those if you come here. On top of the food, our bartender Niyha made the night even better. She greeted us as soon as we sat down, had the best energy, and kept us entertained the whole time. She even made me a custom drink that wasn't on the menu and it was soooo good. Her service alone is a reason to come back. Overall: great food, great drinks, and top-tier service. But never felt too loud or obnoxious. Decent amount waiting in line to look at the extensive menu to figure out what we wanted to order. First you order and then you find an open table to sit to wait for your food with a buzzer. Very nostalgic decor of the French Quarters in New Orleans. Multiple TVs with the college basketball games going on. They even have a full service bar area. The cashier who took our order was very nice and patient. When ordering a drink (I got the hurricane), you hand your receipt to a bartender at the full service bar area and they make your drink and bring it to your table. Our order: Half dozen chargrilled oysters- 4.5/5 came with toast instead of crackers to eat. Good Parmesan and butter toppings. Crawfish etouffee with fried catfish filet with fries and dirty rice- 5/5 amazing breading on the catfish and large filets. Crawfish pieces were large and well seasoned. 1/2 catfish poboy with seafood gumbo- 4.5/5 came with fries as well. Gumbo was good, but slightly more peppery than usual. My son loved the alligator bites but my husband didn't like them. The poboy was just okay, I wish they had true New Orleans french bread, it would make all the difference. In fact, we still haven't found a place that does. Pappadeaux is the closest. The place looked okay when I picked it up & they had a saxophone player live, which was very nice. This is a casual New Orleans / seafood restaurant that we dined at on my partner's birthday. The decor/atmosphere imitates New Orleans. You order at the counter, and they give you a number to sit on the table and if you have drinks you take your number to the bar to pick up your drinks. There was a live music the night we were there which was nice. New Orlean and fried seafood cuisine. I wanted crab legs and was happy to learn they had a crab leg boil (that's not on the menu) and available for me to order. My partner got some type of seafood platter with grill oysters, I think. Yesterday was my first time visiting this restaurant. A friend recommended it since we were in the mood for crawfish, and Orleans was offering a great special that was hard to pass up. We sat at the bar, and the initial service was quick and efficient. I arrived around 4:47 PM. The crawfish itself was good, and I would definitely come back for more. However, I did receive quite a few dead ones, but I do want to acknowledge that the manager promptly replaced them, which I appreciated. Now, this is where my rating drops to two stars. As it started to get busier, it seemed like there may not have been enough bartenders to handle the crowd. Around 6:10 PM, we tried to get the bartender's attention for our check, but she was engaged in a continuous conversation and not paying attention to customers. When I finally got her attention and asked for the check, she told me "one moment" but it took an additional 35 minutes to receive it. During that time, she stopped to assist every other table and continued making drinks, while we were still waiting. When I followed up, there was no apology just a quick response that she would get to it. To make matters worse, when I finally went to pay, she abruptly took the machine out of my hand and mentioned they don't look at the feedback at the end of service. That interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. I'm not expecting perfect service, but this experience fell well below expectations especially with other staff nearby. I eat lunch there often, and their fried alligator is hands-down the best I've had--and I've sampled them all. Their pasta dishes and bread pudding are also fantastic. They have so much good food here I had the catfish this time but usually I have the salmon Orleans and that is so yummy. Definitely recommend going here. They have good booty and eggrolls and I think it's the seafood fondue is really good. Also, definitely try them out. They are worth it. read more

Overall, the place was a bit of a mess with many tables not being clean; I had to search for a clean place to sit. This is always a turn-off for me, and generally makes me not want to come back.
