Horrible experience. I took my daughter here for a special day before our vacation. The nail tech added many extra services to my 7 year old's nails without permission from either of us. When I went to pay the bill was over $250 for a child's manicure and pedicure along with my own. When I told the owner this, he said he didn't believe me and left it at that. No apologies. I will not be going back here and will tell everyone I know of the terrible customer service. read more

I've been going there for almost a year now. I always see Rose! She is amazing!! Unfortunately, my last trip was last minute I was in the area and my nails really needed a fill. ( I'm an hr away) so I went in as a walk in and rose wasn't there. Took the chance, and seen another woman. Worse experience ever, she was annoyed the whole time & it was the worst vibe ever. She kept trying to go against every thing I wanted. I said, long she gave me every reason not to do long. I went in with a design, and the price was not something I was willing to pay for someone I never seen there work. ( & I'm glad I didn't) so I was undecided between French and a full color, she was so annoyed by this and rushing me. Then gave me every reason why French wouldn't be the way she pick. Just do basic color look beautiful! I was so annoyed by this whole experience. It's not about what she wants.. I'm the paying customer. Im in the car about to leave in the sunlight and notice just about every nail has little bubbles and brush strokes. One week after polish is chipping off. I've recommended this place to so many people! please stick with rose! I wont be back without seeing her. read more

Hello Michigan! I am from California and I was so excited to take my son and his girlfriend who recently moved to Michigan for a mani/pedi. So here is my review. The service was good, not stellar but good. Clean place, nice people... so why the low stars on the review... Vibe there gets ONE star and here is why....... here is my receipt... $5.00 up charge for "men's service" wtf. In addition one of the techs bum rushed my sons girlfriend about upgrading her service when they realized I was paying. My son took the least time and was punished financially for being male. No wonder men rarely go get nail service. I feel I was totally taken advantage of because they knew I was visiting and charged me whatever. Next time we visit I'll be taking my $300 service elsewhere. Shame on you Vida Nails.. shame! read more

First time being there. I'm from out of town and went with my mom for a girls day. The woman I got was awful and I wish I got her name. I had gotten the basic mani/pedi, she just put the lotion on my legs n hands with no massage what so ever. The lotion was barely rubbed in. Her polish was job was spotty and had to ask her to do another coat on my toes. My mom had Sandy (who was AMAZING!!!!) she gave my mom such a great massage and she got the basic mani/pedi as well. after giving these guys a second chance, i regret it. the service isn't horrible but even the lady who's talented at nail art sucks at the basics. my french tips are offcentered on my thumbs. while i really like this set, it was rushed due to how many people were in the nail salon. i booked my appointment a month in advance and waited 30 minutes in the waiting room because they overbooked themselves. also, everytime i ask for long nails, they shave them down to an ugly short length. the lady i was with tried to tell me my nails would be "too long" and i decided to keep that length. as you can tell these are hardly long and i'm glad i didn't listen to her this time. you can find a better salon with people who actually know how to shape nails and do french tip correctly. read more

I travel an hour to have my nails done, because no one in the city or area of Brighton, Michigan knows how to do a great set of shellac nails, acrylics. Facility is SO clean! They have a huge selection of color. I walk out of there spending $43 on shellac/acrylic fills. pay by cash and they deduct three dollars. I highly recommend anyone at the salon, though I always park with Nina or SANDI. So much else to do on that side of town, make a day out of it... Nails, shopping, lunch/dinner! read more

My nails have chipped very early after a shellac mani here. It's a clean salon where I've had several mani/pedis at but the owner turned me off today. But my reason for the 3 stars was upon doing a walk in on a Saturday morning, the owner quickly asked if I had an appointment to which I said no and he sarcastically answered with "good luck". A bunch of immature young customers started laughing so I proceeded to leave and go to Divine Nails a mile away where I was able to get in right away and they did a fantastic job. read more
