I had been looking around for a good nail salon, considering I got married about a month ago and wanted to showcase my pretty ring :) I arrived without an appt, told a 15 minute wait, which was understandable, ended up being closer to 35. They were really busy and I couldn't be mad, I didn't have an appointment. Their color selection is insane, the receptionist was helpful in finding a color that matched the sample one, even though they didn't carry it. She was also a riot, talking to all of the clients, joking and keeping the mood light. She made the wait feel short. Lastly, Peter did an amazing job. He didn't speak much, but he took my concerns into consideration, making sure acrylic wasn't under the nails and that I could get an extra top coat since I work with my hands for a living. I will be going to see him again. Pricing wasn't bad at all, $50 for a full set. I am happy to say I think I found my new nail salon! read more

I got my nails done the other day and I wanted square white nails. First of all the guy I had was so rude to me. He didn't even look at me. He was rushing through my nails so they were all lumpy. The white nail gel was all over my cuticles. I spend hours literally trying to make them look normal but they still look like shit. Don't go here go to Bloomfield nails on 23 they are so much better with service and their nails. I will not be coming back here unless they want to remove these $55 shitty ass acrylics. read more

This nail salon is in a great location. Not too busy and willing to accommodate walk-ins, though appointments are preferred. I asked about dip powders and was immediately directed to a wide selection of colors (at least 100). I showed the nail tech a picture of what I was looking for and he helped recommend a polish to match. Two of my nails were broken and not long enough for the shape I was going for so he offered to put tips on just those nails. He made sure to clarify that tips are no extra charge, which I thought was very considerate. At other salons, I've been offered extra things and was not told about any extra charges. The whole process (tips, manicure prep, and dip powder) took about 30 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back! Edit: I just finished my second appointment here and again was not disappointed! I still had one nail that needed a tip. Overall, service was quick but not rushed. I had been going to a different nail salon for over 10 years and moved a good distance from it, I was looking to find a new one and this one is 5 minutes from my house so I walked in one night to see how they did with pedicures and acrylic/shellac fills, Nino was the one who was assigned to me and let me tell you he is fantastic! My feet are always super soft and my toe nails are filed and cut perfectly! For my nails he shaped a beautiful almond set, cleaned up the cuticles, polish's perfect making sure all areas are covered the oil and hand massage at the end is my favorite! Their prices are consistent with the other salons in the area. They offer everything- acrylics, dipping powder, pedicures, waxing. Also, for pedicures, they have a unique set-up where the foot basin is covered in a new plastic cover taken fresh out of the box just for you. After the pedicure, that cover is disposed of. Could've used a third coat because the color I chose was a bit sheer but overall, I was happy with her. The reviews here about the owner/receptionist are believable. She is not very friendly at ALL. You really get the sense that she doesn't like you which is in my opinion, a bad look for a business owner in a service industry. The good news is that this place takes cards without giving you any issues or requests for cash. I'm so tired of these salons dodging their taxes. I have to pay mine! You should have to pay yours. I said ouch and pulled my hand away and she laughed. My hand was bleeding. My fingers were sore for days and I developed an infection. I went in with an appointment and nobody started working on my nails until 50 minutes later. I had one nail technician come over to remove my gel, but after she wrapped my nails I was left waiting for 25 minutes while she went to work on another customer. Finally a second nail technician came over and started working on my nails. But then a THIRD nail technician came over and had me grab all my stuff and move over to a different station to finally finish up my shellac manicure. I got my gel nails done on Sunday and it is now Tuesday. My polish on my thumb has already chipped after less than 2 full days. I've gotten my nails done at multiple salons in multiple different cities, and I've never once felt the need to leave a bad review until now. read more

I've been going here for years. Over the last few months they have had a major turnover in nail techs. The last 3 times I had the same guy. The first 2 the powder was so thin that my nails were breaking, the last time he used his dremel drill to remove my cuticles. After 2 days I woke up to my fingers throbbing. 6 of my cuticles were infected. Now a week later and I have hang nails onn4 of the fingers that the cuticle is torn up. However, my nails were all destroyed - she cut off my real nails stating that they were too long and then used the drill to file them down switch she split a few on the edges.
