I just for about 10 mins before vivian started to work on my acrylic take off. It didn't hurt and I was surprised she didn't need to soak them. She persuaded me to get one of their packages and me being an optimistic, I just decided on the $55 package they had to offer. I like the sea salt scrub and the 15 min foot massage. The package also included a 15 min shoulder massage with hot stone but I didn't even get hot stones. I have gotten deep massages before but I must say, this deep massage that I just received was mind blowing!! Patty, who performed the deep massage on me, really did an amazing job. She absolutely got into the nick-and-crannies that are so obviously full of tension in my body. She used her magical hands to releave my body from so much tension and smooth out all my rough edges. She used amazing scents to give me a more complimentary feel and she went above and beyond when it came to making my feel relaxed. I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD! Two days ago I went for the first time to get a full set and my nails took AT LEAST 5 hours to dry, the nail polish was lumpy, and ugly. So i went back the next day to get them redone and they left my nails SUPER THIN!! Due to my nails being so thin, two nails broke as i was putting in a shirt! I went back today and explained what happened.. then Vivian in other words called me a liar and blamed the lumpiness on my matte top coat. She then charged me $3 and left them EVEN MORE thin then they were already. About 5 min ago another nail broke as i was putting a pair of sweats!! I have always had acrylics and i have never broke nor struggled so much with them! This is absolutely the worst place to get your acrylics done, save your money and go someplace else read more

Just tell her what you want and she will do it. I personally like my eyebrows thick and natural looking still with shape and she never disappoints me. It was his first pedicure, they were too rough and made his feet bleed, then they told him he had to order a service from the menu, even though I had already booked his service. This place is awful. Wendy, wendy, wendy, where the hell do I begin with her bs!!! Just scroll down if you want the "hair stylist's" review. I got married this week so I went in 3x in one week, one to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded and my under arms waxed, second to get a full set and pedi, third (on my wedding day) to get my hair curled. Vicky did my pedi and she was soooo sweet and social. She's just a great overall employee who really makes you feel welcomed and did a great job. Vivian (the owner) rushed through my nails because she had other appts (one call in and another set appt) which pissed me off since I made an appt a week ago. I expect to not be rushed and have a good job done. I got white tips and they look like shit, they're uneven and aren't how I asked her to do them...even showed her a picture!!! So wedding day is here and my appt is at 3. I go and WENDY is not there yet. She comes 10 minutes late with her two kids (maybe 7 & 9). She starts blow drying my hair then stops to feed her kids -__- Throughout the entire appt she is yelling in my ear to her kids to tell them to behave, which they don't. Then the receptionist starts asking her questions about extensions which apparently Wendy cannot multi task and finds the need to stop working and stand there and chat. It is now 3:30 and she has not made a single curl. She then walks away to grab her phone to show the receptionist her website and examples of extensions. Wtf?!!?!!!!?!! I am your client and you are treating me like shit!! Her son decides to sit in front of me and play on her phone while kicking my chair and my leg. I tell her if she could ask him to move because he's kicking me. What does this idiot do??? She nods and says ok then says nothing!! At the end my hair looked like shit, it wasn't what I had asked for either. I don't understand why these people don't listen to their clients. I showed her pics of how I wanted the front and the back. Oh and then for some reason she makes the executive decision of adding a braid to my hair which I never even asked for because I DID NOT want it. I told her to stop as soon as I noticed the braid forming. She is so unprofessional and her work is not even good. I was fuming by the time she showed me the mirror. How is she allowed to have any clients with that type of behavior!!!!!!! She ruined my day! I needed to be out by 4 and left at 4:30 because she was late and kept stopping for unnecessary reasons. I think my review is higher than most on here because I haven't had my nails done here yet and I don't get my cooch waxed so please keep in mind that as of now this is just on getting my brows waxed and getting prices. I went here while going a few doors down to Manny's for a Brazilian Blowout. I have needed to get my brows done for awhile and it looked like a nice salon so I went in since I was in the area. For $9 (new client here) I got my brows tweezed by Vivian. I don't get waxing done since I am on Retin A, and I never got a good shape from threading (I need my brows on the thinner side with a arch). My brows came out thinner that I expected them to be, but my main problem was that she made my left eyebrow much shorter than the right one. They do seem to always try to get as much people coming in for money than to focus on you. The phone rang around 3x and she kept running to answer it. Annoying, but for $9 I will take that. They also won't take credit cards unless you are charging over $10 and of course American Express isn't taken (sucks for me). I would come back to this place, but definitely not for eyebrow styling. They charge $50 for acne facials which Vivian said is almost an hour (seems to be the average price for these kinds of facials so may not be worth the trip for me). They also seem to have a lot of packages. If you go in Mon-Wed from 10-3 pedicures and manicures are $3 off so you can get a pedicure for $15 and $6 for callus removal. Likewise the almost hour long acne facial becomes $45 which during those hours would be the cheapest acne facial for the money that I have found because usually they are $1 per minute. Pretty good deal. During that time you can also get 10% off facials and massages. I will also return for their #2 package which is a manicure, pedicure, paraffin waxing treatment, callus removal, and a 15 hot stone foot massage for $45. They still have up their summer special banner so I assume they are still honoring those prices. A package that seems to be pretty popular for $121 includes a 1hr European facial with eye treatment, 1 hour Swedish massage with hot stone, and a manicure and pedicure with paraffin waxing treatment. Something like that would probably go for $146 at similar places unless they offer a package too. Bottom line, this isn't a day spa. If you want to feel pampered on a budget and don't mind not talking to whoever is working on you (I hate small talk and would rather be left alone to be honest), this is a good place. Pros- 1. Open daily (yay Sunday hours) 2. Great prices especially on packages 3. No fake "pretend we are friends" chit chat 4. Lots of places walking distance they don't seem "ghetto" (it's in a cute part of San Fernando and this is a Jew from a middle class family talking) from hair salons, coffee shops, and restaurants Cons- 1. Parking a little bit of a pain in the ass (street parking), but there is a lot a few minutes away 2. Can feel like a rush job depending on what time you are there 3. They aren't exactly fluent in English 4. Brows sucked- In fairness I don't think any nail salon has given be great brows. If you need an actual eyebrow styling and not eyebrow trim (not sure how to make this any clearer), go to a high end salon (I say this as a cheap person)or one where the person doing it doesn't do nails there too. You want a person who actually is there specifically doing certain things. FYI TO YELPERS- Make your reviews less "witty" and more helpful by listing prices. Came here a couple times because I'm all about routine but one day I came here with my husband, my mom and my brother's girlfriend. My brother's girlfriend complained that her manicure was painful, the lady told her it wasn't painful and she's just sensitive. It just got worse from there. They only have two machines for gel polish (watch out if you come here on the weekends this place gets packed!) so they tried to rush to get a machine before my mom or I could since we were ahead of her. Her manicurist hadn't even finished my brother's GF pedicure yet. She spilled water all over her in the process too. My mom called her out on it and it just turned into a fight and the manicurist called my mom a couple things. The owner said she would give us $10 off but since my brother's girlfriend had gone from the chair to the bar and back to the chair they HAD to charge us BOTH manicure ($16?) AND gel manicure ($25) when she had not even gotten color on her nails! Wtf they when we got out bill they charged us two extra manicures with no $10 off discount... we just paid so we could leave! They refused us a receipt as well. Since I loved my manicurist I still came but when the owner saw that it was me (and I was part of that group) she started charging me random fees I never paid before! I have been a good costumer for a couple years and never been charged for things like a glitter top instead of a clear coat before. She literally BROKE my nail in HALF. I kindly asked them to fix it. Then I get my bill and they had the NERVE to CHARGE ME to FIX the NAIL THEY BROKE! The manager or owner said it broke naturally.
