I've been coming here for about 17 years and their service has deteriorated significantly!!! If you make an appointment be prepared to wait for at least 45 minutes to an hour! Also their spa chairs are not working properly and the place is very unclean. My last experience was very disappointing due to the long wait and once I was seated, I was placed in a broken spa chair only to wait for another 15 minutes. Vivian is the BOMB! Despite being incredibly positive (and super funny), she has great service. She is always working 6 days a week might I add, and she does not disappoint on service. Personally, I get a dip powder & gel for my mani and pedicure every 2-3 weeks and Both Cathy and Vivian are quick and thorough with it too! Knock on wood, I've never had a nail break EVER. Vivian takes off a little bit of the top from the previous so she doesn't have to filled down to your actual nail, then soaks my nails The gel on top will then hold and won't chip. Other than that, the rest of her staff is great as well Cathy always do a great job with my pedicures and keep the cuticle healthy. HELLO and BYE!! The worst. My first time and the last one in this place. The name of the lady who work on me is "VEN". Be careful and check the hygiene of tools used in this salon. They are not really disinfected. I got an infection of three toes in my pedicure. I have already two weeks recovering. It is very important to keep the eye in the way they disinfect their tools. My friend and I were coming in for a mani and pedi And she was running late I asked if we could wait for her to arrive to begin my nails she said no you didn't have an appointment. Which was fine. She then proceeded to rush me on color I was asked over 3 times to pick a color which made me feel rushed. Especially because she wasn't even to that point in the service yet. She can take those 10 from my service. But apparently she wasn't waiting for me and she took somebody else. She let me drive 25 minutes away just to tell me come back. I have been coming to Hello Nails Salon for several years now. I am rating them a three star because once upon a time they really strived to provide excellent care and service. More recently they have been compromising their integrity to maximize a profit which at a business standpoint I understand. Here are the reasons why I liked them. They are one of the cleanest nail salons in the valley. They clean each chair before a new person sits and they cover it with a new disposable cover before the next person. They use new sterilized nail clippers and tools for each customer. They recently did some sort of upgrade and reorganization of their furniture.With this upgrade of course comes an increase in their prices. Reasonable. Their massage chairs are on the newer side and they have the deluxe pedicure package which is the best. It includes peppermint mud, and a sea salt scrub ... Van is the best! Here are the reasons why I am not coming back. They never acknowledge you when you walk in anymore and when they do they hardly greet you. They make eye contact with you and start talking without even a smile to comfort you that they are not talking about you. I feel awkward and uncomfortable every time I go. The last couple of times they have made me wait over an hour , an hour and a half and even two hours. There has been several occasions where they rush you through your manicure/pedicure hurting you. I can understand working with a sense of urgency when busy but don't let that take away from the quality of work you provide. I would also suggest letting the customers know how long of wait you anticipate it to be and let them decide if they will come back or if they are willing to wait. My family and friends all come here and all have the same sentiment as I do about their customer service. They have almost all stopped coming. I kept going back hoping things would get better and they would care. It makes me really sad because I have always wanted to give them a good review and continue giving them support with my business but unfortunately ever since I opened a yelp account it has been a hit or miss with them. I needed my review to be as honest as it could be because many people post based on one bad or good experience and mine is based on several of both. read more
