One of the best Service experience I've had.. We have (had) a 65 inch Element Rocku TV, and the backlight went out. Went through all the stops troubleshooting and came to the conclusion we would need it fixed. Good luck funding a TV Repair service right?? Tried a dozen places locally with no luck. Eventually got to giving Mike a call, and man was I blown away with responsiveness, communication, promptness... He showed up same-day, looked at everything, gave us an estimate, and what to expect. Gave him a $100 deposit! The next morning, he called with an update that my specific model had additional problems, and his recommendation was to not repair but instead go shopping. I contacted the Video Center TV Repair based on a random Google search to find a repair service for my four-year-old Smart TV. I spoke with Mike and he scheduled me for a service appointment for the next day to troubleshoot the problem I report. I am very happy to write this review about Mike and Video Center. Mike came to my home the same day I reported the problem regarding my 55" LG TV. After a number of years watch the 55" LG TV, the video went out. When Mike arrived at my home, I discussed the issues with the TV. He knew right away from his vast experience what the problem was. He gave me a very reasonable quote and took the TV back to his shop. 8 days later he returned the TV to my home. We tested it out on my WIFI network and it worked like new. Because we replaced the 55" LG with a 65" Samsung, I now have the LG TV in my garage entreating me while I work on my garage projects. I had filed a claim with an extended warranty company for my 75" LED TV. I was told to contact Mike at Video Center TV Repair. He came to evaluate the problem that same day. He arrived when he told me he would and was polite and professional. Mike was planning on wearing a mask but at my request he also wore a face shield. The panel needed replacement but the panels are no longer available. He gave me an invoice indicating such so I could forward it to the warranty company. The company wanted additional information so they contacted Mike and he did the research looking for the part number and price for a panel that isn't available. He tried to contact the warranty company but was never able to reach them so Mike called me to give me the information that was necessary to complete my claim. He wanted to make sure I had everything I needed to complete the process. There wasn't any financial incentive for him to do this. I really appreciate his diligence. I voiced my concern about how I would go about recycling the unit and he said he would come and get it whenever I wanted so he could use the working parts for other repairs. I called Mike and he came exactly when he said he would to pick it up. He was just as cordial and professional as the 1st time. Do Not Hire!!!!!. . . 51" Plasma Samsung. My TV screen went Black. It turned on and stayed on just fine, and the sound worked. So I called Mike to see if he could fix the black screen. Mike stopped over, said it was a Great TV bla bla bla, and that it was an easy fix. A two day turn around is what he said. On the 3rd day he texted me and said, """The Display Panel is Bad in your TV. Too much to repair. Do you want the set back or should I give it to the state of California to be salvaged out""" I replied back with, """yes I will take it back. I will use it as a radio being I can still hear the channels""". I had this TV outside in the back patio area where my work station is. So hearing the channels is really all I needed. I would have it on while I worked. Never really watched it. If I wanted to sit and watch the TV I would just go inside my house. So when he brings it back two days later, he drops it off and HAULS ASS. I quickly plugged it in. The TV would not stay on, it kept shutting down. The Sound was now not working, and the light on the panel in the back also did not work after getting it back. Which it was working when I gave it to him. Clearly this man salvaged good parts himself from my TV with bad parts. I'm keeping all the Texts between me and him on this matter. I have a 63" Samsung and the power converter was broken I called video center on Saturday and they were at my door the following Monday afternoon. He was done with the repair in less than 40 minutes and was able to work on it with my two boys (4&2) running around him. And to top it off the total was less than what I was quoted. So just spoke with Mike and he actually talked me out of having my T.V. repaired. He was the only one of three other places that took the time to listen to my issue and then first explain my options and second recommend how to set this lighting on a new T.V. to increase the longevity. The others just quoted me a high price to fix and then one guy hung up on me when I questioned the cost. If you ever have any electronic repair issues call Mike FIRST he is honest and genuine. He called as he finished his previous job early and could come 30 mines earlier than planned .. I rushed home, I told him the issue again... He was here 5 minutes DID NOT look at the TV ( It's in the box) told me what this issue is and the repair cost, charged me $40 and left... He could've done that over the phone... I was referred to Mike by a TV repair who does not travel to the Temecula area. I gave him a call and starting explaining the issue with my TV, and he already knew exactly what the issue was and the make and model# of my DLP. He came out the same day to take a look. Do not do business with this guy. He removed parts without telling us and when I decided to go with a different company we realized he had removed an entire component. After calling him he returned the part but low and behold we now had a new issue with a part of the component board. He said he didn't have anything to do with the new issue but it seems a little fishy. Why would he take out the part without telling us first. Very unethical. read more

Mr. Kirkpatrick had to make two trips to my house about 20 miles each way. He was on time very personable. He correctly diagnosed the problem, gave me a fair quote, and was agreeable to make another trip to repair the TV. Again on time, had the part out and ready to go quickly. I wrote a review yesterday on Video Center personal site and it was removed and it did not allow me to re-write the review. This man took my aunt and uncle money and didn't fix their T.V. He kept giving them the run around and when he finally went to try to fix it he messed it up even more. My Aunt is diagnosis with pancreas cancer and my uncle her husband is on hospice with liver cancer on his death bed and this man taking there $380.00 from them is NOT COOL!!! My aunt paid him up front before he did any work and it took him almost a week to come out, but he sure did cashed the check. He tryed to fix the TV, but he made it worse and said he could not work in his condition sick and said to find someone else and wrote them a check for the $380.00 but GUESS WHAT he had INSUFFICIENT FUNDS in his bank account. He took money from SENIORS that didn't know better. You are not a good man and people who do this to innocent people and who is terminally ill is not human.
