First time using this company and found using Google/Yelp search. Elad (Tech) responded and serviced my broken Kitchaid refrigerator. He was professional, friendly and respectful of my home. My freezer department was failing to remain frozen. The upper ice maker also had stopped working, but it was a secondary issue. Elad diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for the freezer department repair. Parts were ordered on a Thursday and the repair was completed on the next Tuesday. Elad also told he believed the ice maker would start working within a week, as he felt the repair completed were related. He also gave me a second estimate in case it didn't but suggested I wait. The ice machine started making ice after 5 days which was a great ending. Very impressed with this company and Elad. What really stood out was that he genuinely tried the most affordable solutions first to keep things as cost effective as possible for me. My wife's new iPhone 16 Pro Max had water get into the charging port and it completely shorted out. Unfortunately, her account wasn't synced to iCloud, which meant we were at risk of losing over 1,000 videos and 17,000 photos of our two young boys growing up. That would have been devastating. James was able to recover all of the data. While the recovery wasn't cheap, in the grand scheme of things it was absolutely priceless and worth every penny. So much that I appreciate about More Than a Fix. First, they have a physical location with dedicated hours - so many other phone/computer repair businesses are by appointment only and/or mobile only. Second, they are extremely skilled at their craft, are very transparent about what can and can't be fixed, and accurately quote what a fix will cost. Plus they seem to have a plethora of parts in stock. My second "fix" was to replace the back of a green iPhone 11 Pro Max and they actually had a green back in stock so the repair only took a few hours!
