I would never in my life send these people anything ever again. I sent my Wii U in to get the HDMI port fix.. the guy told me that he fixed it and sent me back my system with a AV wire I plugged in the HDMI wire still did not work. After a string of emails back and forth finally agreed for me to send the system back in that he didn't fix anything on and swore he did to tell me that it worked fine. I requested him to send me a video of the system work and it took two weeks for him to send me the video then magically the system was working properly. Would never do what these people again has terrible customer service. Can't be trusted fixing your system would actually do nothing send it back and swear they fix it

The top screen is in working order, and everything looks like how it should be!

When I dropped my Pikachu 2DS XL I was absolutely devastated when I saw the top screen was completely black. I played that thing every day and it was suddenly gone in an instant. I was in a state of panic looking for a place to get it repaired, especially since you can't buy them for a reasonable price new anymore. I then stumbled upon Video Game 911 online and saw the good reviews, so I shipped my precious baby to them from Michigan to New Jersey. I was so anxious the whole time fearing the worst and regretting not trying to find a more local place. The fear of them stealing my money and my DS was at the forefront of my mind the entire time. When I looked up the tracking number and saw that my package was delivered two days prior I was scared that my fears were right since I got no email update from them whatsoever. Trying to keep my hopes up I messaged them and they promptly responded an hour later that it was going to be under diagnostics that day. I didn't want to message anything further just in case they got annoyed and made me wait even longer, or worse (I'm just an anxious and paranoid person, they didn't really do anything to warrant these fears of mine)! I shipped it on Sep 11th, and got the notification that the analysis was complete on the 19th. After I made my payment that night, I got an email notification that it was being worked on the following morning. Finally, on the 23rd, I got my DS back, and I am so relieved and happy! It might sound stupid, but this thing really means a lot to me, and I am so happy that they were able to fix it with only minimal dents on the front edges (I assume it was from taking the dang thing apart). The stylus had also been kinda loose in the storage slot, and I forgot to take it out before I shipped it, and was happy to see it was still in there and didn't get lost. In retrospect, for the sake of my own sanity, I probably should have looked for a repair place locally, but even after all that stress, I am so happy with how it turned out, even though I am now out 140 sum dollars, which I would have had to spend that to repair it anyway so I'm glad it went to some knowledgable people. In the future, I plan on sending my old Game Boy Advance SP and my Playstation 2 to them for repairs once I have the cash (I am also not apparently as emotionally attached to those items as I am to my Pikachu 2DS XL) because they are certainly a reliable company that can fix them. Also, can women's pants just have bigger pockets, please???? None of this would have happened if that was just a thing.

We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. Thought it survived at first but later on the phone completely died and I was pretty convinced all my photos and stuff were gone for good. Someone told me to check this place out and I'm glad I listened. Alper was the one helping me and somehow got the phone working long enough to transfer everything over to my new phone. I honestly didn't think there was any chance of saving it. Super nice guy great service and they seriously saved me from losing a ton of important stuff. Couldn't thank them enough and definitely recommend this place.

They did such a great job on top of being very nice and patient that I had to write this even though it was awhile ago. I bought, more than a year ago, a small Samsung Galaxy notepad. It worked fine for what I needed. 2 months ago the "floating keyboard" was coming up constantly and I couldn't use the hard keyboard, as time went by it got worse and I was really frustrated and becoming angry. Went on internet to find out that I wasn't the only one having this issue and thought I would most likely have to buy a new note pad. Don't have money to throw away. First I tried Samsung and they really didn't help. They did steer me to uBreakiFix located in the Rockaway Mall. I stopped by just as they were opening didn't even say good morning and entered the store stomping angry and exclaimed that I wanted to throw to smash my Galaxy and throw it OUT the window (I work in NYC) and watch a bus drive over it. The fellow was very calm and assured me they will fix it. Both guys were trying to solve this issue and low and behold after about 45mins of trying several options they GOT IT!! they were kind, professional, persistent and knowledgeable and I would tell anyone who was reaching my level of Techno Distress to go to uBreakiFix at Rockaway for a technical "therapy" fix because I walked out smiling and it made my day!

The representative stated I needed to give him the passcode to my phone and it would be done in 2 hrs. I have had several people tell me before going, I would not need to give my passcode for a simple screen crack fix. I spoke to other screen repair places on the phone, they stated I would not need to give my passcode and there is a maintenance mode that is used during fixes to protect privacy. The representative was insistent the only way he would fix it was with my passcode and to just trust him. I left with my cracked screen because of how odd this was. Why not put my phone in maintenance mode? Why require my passcode where you could scroll through all my financial information, emails, passcodes, photos, convos. Why on earth should I just trust some random guy who refuses to fix a phone on maintenance mode when it is an option and is standard practice.
