This shop has a pretty large and diverse selection of single cards as well and I ended up picking up some from the display case as well as a few from the $1 box. We placed her books in a bin, then waited to be called by a greeter. Our greeter quickly explained the process, gave the daughter a claim ticket, then we waited. In the 40 minutes it took for her claim number to come up on the screen, we were able to walk through most of the sections and pick out a couple things to buy. I was quite surprised to find so many things beyond books -- DVDs, VHS, vinyl records, CDs, cassette tapes, clothing, Pokémon cards, instruments, game consoles, accessories, Legos, toys, comic books, etc. It was seriously amazing. My daughter decided to take her sale in trade which gave her about 50% more to spend. For the books they didn't buy she was given the option to take them back or donate them there. She chose to donate. The husband loves old movies, art and music -- he will absolutely enjoy McKay's. I can't wait to bring him here! They have a coffee shop and a lot of history/biography/study guide/fiction books. The spots reserved for sitting and reading are gone.
