Such a great place to buy a flat screen. They are all about reducing margins and increasing volume to make it up. I am so happy to support this business model. And they are so honest. Shout out to our salesman Francisco! He hooked us up with our tv... he was super knowledgeable about all their products. Anything you want and need to know he knew. We already knew what size and kind of tv we wanted. We wanted a 55in smart tv. They had so many options, brands, and with all different price ranges. At first we got a 55in Sony smart tv but for some reason it wouldn't automatically connect to our WiFi at home. We had to constantly manually do it which was frustrating and annoying. I called Francisco, told him about our situation and he had us troubleshoot but it did not fix the problem. So he told us to bring back the tv and we could exchange it. When we went to exchange our tv we decided to upgrade to a better tv.. we ended up getting the 55in LG HDR 4K tv. What an upgrade!!! The tv is awesome! It is hella clear.. and we do not have any problems. I'm a happy customer! Anyway all of our transactions ran smoothly and the customer service we received was superb. I called the San Mateo, CA store, picked up right away and talked with Tony. Said come on down - they would take in my dead TV and gave me some good information over the with no pressure. Arrived at the store, looked over their TV's. Took about 20 minutes. Tony the Sales Associate was absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable and fit my requirements. I've driven by this Video Only location a few times and when my husband said he wanted to look at new TVs on Black Friday, I suggested we check it out! Doug helped answer all of our many questions and guaranteed his prices were better than anywhere else. The Black Friday sale price for the TV we picked was $699 but Doug sold it to us for even less. After researching the same TV online, I couldn't find it for less than $799 so we definitely got the best deal! When we got the TV home, we couldn't find a set of screws in the packaging and it turned out they were in the bag with the remote control. So if you're missing any screws, check there! Dino was so helpful answering all my questions and was knowledgeable about competitors pricing as well as the differences in warranty details. I placed my order over the phone and since my car can't fit a 65'' tv, Dino was so kind as to offer to delivery it to me locally for free! Been researching for a sound bar for a while now, and decided to go with the JBL 5.1. But before purchasing, wanted to hear it in person. Decided to go to BestBuy in Union City... Terrible. The display they had up only allows you to play some whack commercial and unable to turn the volume up. Not to mention their lack of knowledge and helpfulness didnt come in handy. Now I am on my way to Video Only. Handsome gentleman by the name of Fransisco helped me with the deciding factor. Here they let you connect your phone and test the sound bar out. The ones I tested (LG SP8YA and the JBL 5.1) JBL was the winner. But in the back of my mind, I really wanted Atmos. Then Fransisco shows me the JBL 9.1. A little out of my price range, but has what I wanted (Atmos)! Since I liked the JBL 5.1, said to myself why the hell not? Fransisco assured me if I didnt like it, I could bring it back within 30 days. And I doubt I will be bringing this back! Yea... He up sold me. Do I regret it? Nope. Good job on that guy! read more

Came here for the first time after hearing a commercial on the radio. When I first walked in I felt like I went back in time. The store isn't modern looking at all and is the complete opposite modern stores and with not many customers in the store I was skeptical and considered walking right back out. I'm glad I didn't. I don't remember experiencing so many -ism's in one transaction. I had a salesman named Mike Shapiro who was a total butthead to me. He's condescending and rude. When I asked him about a package for a TV, Blu-ray player, and some cables, he asked me what I meant about a package. I explained that I was looking to see if they had any deals similar to the ones advertised on their website in my price range. He gave me an exact price, right down to the cent, so I figured that it was the final price. I asked him if that was the final price, and he said yes. When it came time to ring me up, to my surprise, he hadn't added the tax and other fees that comes with the purchase. I asked Mike why he didn't tell me, and he told me: "Well, I don't know what to tell you. The state of California charges people this thing called a sales tax. Sales taxes pay for roads and for other people who can't afford things." I thanked him for the quick and inaccurate civics lesson, and almost walked out the door. However, I knew if I didn't get a TV that day, I would wait another year to make this purchase. While I was having a conversation with my friend about Hz quantity and quality, he interjected. Mike said: "Well, little lady, 600 Hz compared to 60 Hz, it's like shoes..." Then he goes on about some girly shopping thing that I tuned out.
