A trip to this excellent music shop and I'm sure your visit will be an enjoyable one. I'd been to this place before, but not when I was the vinyl fanatic I am today, so I'm definitely glad I stopped by again... Along with my lady and our dog (they're very dog-friendly). The store is very well-organized, with newer releases towards the front and older/used ones towards the back, all divided by genre and all priced nicely. They also have new and used CDs, posters, t-shirts, and lots of comic books and graphic novels. I'd say a little something for everyone! My lady and I found some great vinyls, including Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland (used 1980 reissue, awesome condition, $17), Tone Loc's Loced After Dark (used original pressing, $7), Queen's Jazz (new reissue, $24), and A Charlie Brown Christmas (new green vinyl, $20). This is a great shop and it'd be a crime to NOT check it out. Plus the staff are all friendly and willing to help you find whatever title you're searching for or even make a good recommendation. If you find yourself in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta, I'd absolutely say check this place out!

Videodrome may be small, but what it lacks in size it redeems in variety. Stray films that have escaped the mainstream are hidden in this store. The movie selection is certainly atypical, and ranges from humorous to horrifying to downright weird. If you're bored with Blockbuster, try Videodrome. This is where I could've used some help, but the employees didn't acknowledge even acknowledge me. It's a small store and I'm pretty sure it was clear I was on a mission. Before asking for help, I took another pass through the store and that's when I found the movie. Eureka! Despite the small size of the store, I was impressed with the selection (DVDs, Blu Ray, CDs, records). Everything is alphabetized, so that's super helpful. I perused and found a few more movies I couldn't live without (ha!). The value is really good...way cheaper than online distributors and no shipping. I bought Blu Ray movies in great condition for $3-4 dollars. I checked out and again found the service so subpar. No one asked if I found everything I wanted or even thanked me for visiting. I'm not asking for the red carpet, but *some* friendliness would've been better than nothing at all. It's only four stars because I found what I wanted (and more!) - that's what is most important.

Wuxtry Records is a quirky looking music store that looked like it specialized in selling used CDs and vinyl records. I had called the store asking one of the employees about them buying my CD collection, but he couldn't commit to anything until he saw the condition of the CDs and their genres. He explained that he would not buy CDs if they already had enough inventory for that title, but would consider buying rock CDs. I had a lot of those! Parking was easy on the weekday that I went, and I didn't have any trouble finding a space in the free parking lot that is shared by all of the retail stores in the shopping center. I brought in about 200 CDs to the front counter and was told to come back in about an hour while they went through all of the CDs and determined which ones they were going to buy. During my wait, I just browsed in the store. There were lots of CD titles and groups that I have never heard of, and lots of familiar ones too, and they all looked in great condition. And there was a lot of quirkiness! In the end, there were about 40 CDs that I was not able to sell to Wuxtry Records. This was fair to me and was a good experience. I didn't receive anywhere near the money that I spent to get these CDs, but my goal was to get something out of the CDs that I knew I wasn't every going to play again.

Unlike other stores that primarily stock older records, CD Warehouse has a great selection of contemporary vinyl. It's the best store I've visited so far for vinyl shopping.
