Christiane has skied Sutton since the 1960s and her passion for the terrain is infectious. She took the time to carefully assess our different abilities, guiding us so that my girlfriend felt safe while progressing from green to blue and eventually black trails. Her frequent check-ins and attentive nature allowed us to explore areas I never would have attempted on my own. Christiane is warm, open, and a brilliant communicator. I recommend her highly to anyone looking to get acquainted with the magic of Mont Sutton.

The guide program is a little known gem - folks visiting the mountain for the first time can ski with a guide (at no cost). Ours, Ben, was exceptional - talking us through the mountain and all it has to offer, mapping runs that aligned with our interests and ability levels, and skiing with us for the morning. The weather was perfect; it wasn't scorching hot. We went on the suspended bridge, supposedly it's the longest suspended bridge in the world. The bridge itself was beautiful. It was super sturdy, and I am usually scared of heights but this one was pretty easy for me. So we continued on the trail, we went inside of a little cave; and it was fun. Definitely a fun workout and fun outing with family. Every picture that I took was beautiful; the nature was picturesque!

Once inside the park you will walk on a crushed stone or cement trail that follows the Coaticook River. There are great views of the river. At one point you reach the main attraction, a suspension bridge that takes you hundreds of feet above the river. It's terrifying if you are scared of heights. In another area, you can climb the stairs up a tower and look out over the countryside. There are restrooms along the trail. At night they have an interesting light show. Coaticook is an interesting town. They have a museum, an ice cream manufacturing plant (and ice cream stand), a microbrewery, a small hiking mountain, restaurants, and shops.

It's surrounded by trees and the occasional kayaker meanders past, and the beach area has a lifeguard, picnic tables, and a nice sandy beach for lazing and kids playing. It's not overrun with folks and it's clean and relaxing and I love it. It's a good 1.5hrs from Montreal (not including traffic) and that prob keeps the crowds down. The best part might be the little casse croute run by a local dad and some kids. They make the hot dogs and burgers and things when you order them on a small hotplate and chat with you at the window while you wait. It's delicious and cheap and perfect.

What other zoo can you happily walk around in snow pants and see beautiful animals when it's absolutely freezing outside?! It was not even crowded and all the animals are active. They have such a wide range of amazing animals such as elephants, giraffes, lemurs, monkeys, leopards, moles, birds, tigers, lions, red pandas, kangaroos, turtles hippos, bats and beyond! You can have the opportunity to feed and ride horses and goats! They are incredibly friendly and will rub against you and follow your children; they're ridiculously hilarious and don't care about personal space. So affectionate! In the summer you can have the water park and other amenities, but the winter time we had so much fun! The mascots will have dance parties and greet you! They're so much fun! Also they speak French and English here! Also don't forget to stop by the gift shop OMG THEY HAVE EVERYTHING! The best gift shop ever and I bought my favorite lemur stuffed animal!! Since rain was expected in Montreal, we drove to Bromont to do some hiking. At the information…read morecenter they were kind enough to point us to the wonderful area full of mountain bike and hiking trails. This is a true paradise for bikers with so many trails in different skill level and lengths. Near the parking there is also a small kids "technical" trail, Amazing. But we came for hiking. There is one major hiking trail which is easy (we wanted something that our son can walk) and is also PET FRIENDLY, something you dont see in Quebec everyday, a huge plus !. The trail is only 2.5 Km but was perfect for us, very well marked and maintained, great views, exploding nature what else can we ask for ? Great weather we got it, Great for kids - we got it, Dog friendly - check, free parking- \yes, close to a cool town with good ice cream - a huge plus. Highly recommended.

Une expérience vraiment cool. Elle a tellement hâte de revenir. Amazing intro riding lessons for my 6 yr old niece. The isntructor was amazing and the vibe is positive and fun. Plus the pony was adorable!! A really cool experience for her. She can't wait to come back!
