Andy is my favorite! He does amazing pedicures, attention to detail, gentle and ends with an awesome massage. I almost fall asleep in my chair every time. The only thing I would say is if you're wanting paraffin wax dip to call ahead since they don't always use it and it takes a while to heat up for use. I've been coming here for the past year or so, and would usually get a full set manicure with design, pedicure and wax for eyebrows and lip. I'm happy with the way everything comes out after my appointment. It's better to call and schedule an appointment because they are usually busy. They are also conveniently in a shopping plaza so you don't necessarily have to be driving around for stuff you need. They have flat screen tv's playing movies all the time for your entertainment. Dont even bother making an appointment because they will make you wait EVERY TIME. Today I waited 45 minutes just for them to start my nails. finally did them and they're awful. Brand new and look like they already have a week and a half of growth. Not to mention they are streaky as hell and inconsistently shaped so I had to re-file them myself at home. I used to come here because it's a few buck cheaper but not anymore. I'd rather spend more for quality. this is garbage. read more

Disappointed. A month ago I had an awesome manicure here. I don't do polish or acrylics - just a basic manicure and buff the nails. I call today and schedule an appointment for 4pm. I arrive about 5 minutes early and here I am, sitting 25 minutes after my appointment time - still waiting. It took 40 minutes before someone started my manicure. That's 40 minutes of my day I won't get back. Manicure is great but the wait is long especially with an appointment. To top it off, the girl dong my manicure was in a hurry when doing the arm and hand massage. She dug her thumb nail into the inside of my wrist, gouging it pretty good. This place is great! I've been a loyal customer for 5 years now. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and sanitary at all times. The staff is professional and very accommodating to all requests. I moved from Chandler where I was going to Friendly Nails for 15 years. Moved to Phoenix in 2014 and had to find a new place. I've gone to many nail salons and have been disappointed to say the least. To find Vien Nails within a mile of my house was awesome. I wouldn't go anywhere else after coming here! The nails look very nice, however the glue used for the french tips stuck to my skin underneath the nail making it feel uncomfortable for the first few days and the glue stuck to the sides of my nails. The staff are very friendly and got the job done in under an hour. When it was time for the nails to come off they ripped up my nails, this could be because I have thin nails that aren't very strong, or it could be caused by the glue my reasoning is that the part of the nail that had the french tip glued on ripped. Another thing is typically when you get your nails done they clean up the cuticles and trip around the edges, they did not do this when doing my nails. read more

I usually get my nails done by Andy but he wasn't working the day I went in to get them done. I went with this other male tech. Super quiet guy, didn't talk at all but he was a little rough with my hands. He dug his long nails into the side of my nails and it hurt. He wasn't apologetic about it and did it again with my other hand. I ended up getting an infection which slowly turned into an abscess. After twenty minutes wait they called me to go sit on one of their stations, My nail tech was a man, I believe he is the owner, he did an OK job with my nails, I have two fingers that were hurting from a previous bad job, the nail tech was rushing to get to the next appointment and filed into my skin. He did not look at my fingers, just worked around it without saying a word. When he finished, I thanked him and ask for his name, he would not give me his name, I don't know if he thought he was being funny, but I asked him again and took his business card and he had the audacity of writing in the back of it "no name "!!!!
