Having lived in Melbourne, Indian Harbor and now Viera East for many years and wanting the services provided by a Nail salon, I found a wonderful nail salon in Viera Nails, right next to Winn Dixie, Viera. I have been going for two years now and love both owners, Amy and Tim. They are professional, friendly and can accommodate walk ins too. I now am getting facials from Amy monthly and what a difference in my overall skin condition. the salon is decorate in an elegant style with comfortable massage chairs and I always look forward to giving myself this treat. Amy at Viera Nails was amazing! I came in an hour before closing and she warmly welcomed me for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Not only did she do a beautiful job, but I truly enjoyed talking with her. She and her husband are such wonderful people who clearly care about providing the highest quality and most professional service. While I was there, a very unpleasant customer made rude comments during his pedicure with Amy's husband, and yet he remained authentically kind and unfazed. Their grace and professionalism in that moment really stood out. Back in April, I brought my daughter to Viera Nails to have her nails done for prom. While she was having an absurdly expensive gel experience, I had a traditional mani/pedi. Since I know it was Amy taking care of my daughter, I think it's safe to assume it was Tim doing mine. First of all, Tim butchered my toenails. They were so ugly that I went in a couple of days afterward and asked him if there was anything he could do to make them look better. He said they were ugly because I told him to cut them short. He literally blamed his bad job on me. I never told him to cut them down to the skin. And it's now been two months and I've done nothing but suffer from ingrown toenails since. Today I had to visit the doctor because they're so bad and have been prescribed antibiotics. As if that's not enough, my daughter's gel nails started falling off by the middle of the very week they were done. They did not even last a full seven days. But, because of the way Tim treated me when I went back, we did not return about them. The whole experience was like throwing $145 in the toilet and then continuing to be sick over it. This is a hard review because it is not my usually good review. The establishment was empty upon arrival with two employees working. They were really nice and respectful. I took my daughter to do a full set with her. She went first while the other person glued nails to my nail beds and then I waited for the lady to finish with my daughter before she did mine. She did say that she didn't know how to do complicated designs so my daughter said that was ok and to just paint them when she was done. She wanted sharp long nails. I wanted medium length round nails. Here is where is goes downhill. Conversation was really well with the tech. However, I had to keep saying - trust the process because I thought they would be just fine. My daughters shape is not how she asked, they are also thick. My nail shape are not the same on all the fingers and the polish is just all over. The worse is that she kept nicking our skin and I noticed she would use her thumb to wipe away my blood. She did not wash her hands afterwards or even before she took a new customer than was someone we didn't know. I'd say that's a hazard. The price was cheap but this is one of those things where you should pay for what you want. 100% will not return. I paid because I'm nice about things but the health (blood) is a big concern. read more

best deluxe pedicure I've ever had!!! I could have fallen asleep in the chair! and my toes look amazing!

I hate when I have to leave a less than stellar review. However, I must do so this go round I'm the hopes that this establishment will address the issue so that other customers can leave better reviews. I found myself having some time to kill so I stopped into this shop for a gel manicure. There were no customers at the time so it seemed perfect. The two people in the there seemed nice enough. The woman helped me find the right shade that I already have on my toes from where I usually go. All started off well. The gentleman doing my nails was taking his time and initially appeared very thorough. But, I notices as my hand came out from under the UV light that the polish had pooled on multiple fingers. I usually don't say anything when I am a little displeased but the nails looked distorted so I finally spoke up. One of the nails he was able to successful fix. However, he gave the excuse that the polish I chose needed another color under it and it was bubbling/pooling because he had to use too many coats (only 2 BTW). The problem with this for me is that i had this exact same color and brand used previously at another shop...with no problems and maybe even 3 coats vs 2​. I won't likely be back...but...I'm sure this place deserves a fair shot to improve. I would just...maybe be sure you are comfortable with speaking up, should you choose to give them a shot. read more

My first visit today was fantastic! Got a luxury pedicure and SNS nail manicure. Amy was fantastic, took her time and I felt very relaxed. It's not a huge salon, but very clean and she knew many customers coming in, like family. Everyone there was professional and friendly. I found a new place to go for my mother and I. So distressed and disappointed by this place. I am new to gel nails and having the gel removed, but I can't imagine that your nails will end up paper thin with ridges cut into them. I will never come back here. My natural nails have never looked so horrible before. read more

I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend. I went with some girlfriends and it took 3 hours. All of us got acrylics and a pedicure. The pedicure was amazing! Definitely worth the money. But my acrylics are not good. At all. They are all crooked and I asked for some Matte and she said that she didn't like it so it wasn't offered. She didn't even fill the acrylics to my full nail. I went to work the next and they all said I shouldn't complained in the moment. But I'm too nice. Never going again though read more

I had the worse manicure ever. I made an appointment for my lunch time and I have never been there. I have easy short nails and just wanted a basic manicure with red color. Obviously, they keep topping up their nail polishes with thinners because the 2 colors I tried were lumpy, stick and looked horrible. The guy didn't even clean the old red polish of my fingers enough so I was left with red nail polish all over including under my finger tips. After 45 minutes, I had enough and left without the 2nd coat. It would looked better if my 5 year old had done it. Ladies, I am not picky but please DON'T GO THERE! $12 plus tip is not worth your money. read more

I'm visiting from out of town and honestly just needed a quick pedi nearby. I got so much more than just a quick pedi...very attentive to the service. And the hot stone massage was included in the basic pedi for $22!! So relaxing. If you're looking for basic maintenance come here. No frills kind of place.
