The way I eat it Is I put a bite of everything inside their water fish sauce stuff that comes with it. I know it sounds weird but it's like a sweet water base that kind of just like heaven tasting water. I put a bite of vermicelli noodles a bite of vegetables a bit of peanuts and some lettuce drench it all. Then bring the ball up to my face so I don't spill it all over the place. Worst service ever!! Left the place without eating. We left the restaurant without having our order served, even though we waited about 28 minutes for the server to take our order, after she took our order she never came back, we waited about another 55 minutes after ordering, then, decided to leave. So-so. It was my first time here with my boyfriend and we both love Pho. I don't usually return or complain about my good unless there is actually something to complain about. We ordered Pho which had undercooked tendons but was told we still had to pay because we ordered extra. Even though we didn't eat the extra tendons. A friend of mine suggested this place. Such great food with great service. Came in last night 30 mins before closing and the service was fast and extremely friendly. The waitress gave recommendations and was even apologetic about them cleaning the other side of the restaurant while we were there. I told her it was fine, we knew we were coming late. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant here in El Paso! It's a little bit of drive for me since I live on the west side, but completely worth it. For the appetizers, we got spring rolls and egg rolls. Both were super tasty! For the entree, got the Hu Tieu Mi Kho which I really enjoyed. I was surprised at how authentic it tasted. Definitely one of my favorite items on the menu. Pretty good pho! Great flavor to the broth too which is always the ultimate factor in my reviews. Second would be the contents of said pho lol. In this case, i got the usual combo pho, beef brisket, meatballs, tendon, tripe, the works. Wayyy too much tendon than actual meat! The way i see it, if there's equal parts tendon to actual meat, then there either needs to be more meat or less tendon. Thankfully i also ordered some viet eggrolls which were on point! I had quite my fill from just eating that. Luckily, they also still serve some thai basil for the veggies which doesnt happen all the time in pho restaraunts so thats a plus. If i was in the area and craved it, i would chose this place! My husband also really enjoyed his beef banh mi sandwich! So that's always a winner too in my books! Service was also awesome! We just re-discovered this restaurant roughly a month ago. I'm very skeptical about trying out new Vietnamese place. And when i tried this place out almost a year ago, it was horrible. But they changed the owner or something because it's very good now! I ordered the combination rice noodle twice now (not the Pho), it was very delicious! The pork, the wonton, the quail eggs are as good as the the ones I ate back home. My husband usually ordered the combination Pho, it was great as well. The broth of both soups are very flavorful. The garnish is always full, even the basil! I'm surprised that we have a good quality Vietnamese place here in the far East side. The service here always good! Very friendly, attentive and happy! We were greeted by a nice lady who quickly brought us menus and took our drink order. To start off we ordered the Spring Rolls with shrimp. I gotta say they came out super fast. Everything in them was really fresh and the veggies were nice and crispy. The peanut sauce was really nice and creamy. I really enjoyed them. I ordered the brisket Pho and my husband had the seafood Pho. The kind lady brought out all our fixings and then came out our Pho. At first glance everything looked and smelled delicious. I like my Pho spicy so I always put chili sauce in it, but I decided to taste the broth first. Honestly a lot of places don't really season their broth so it tastes really bland, but not this one. The broth was so tasty it really wasn't missing not one thing, which is rare because I'm really picky. My husbands broth was equally delicious and had really nice seafood notes. The brisket in my Pho was really tender and shredded really easily even with my spoon. My husband told me the seafood in his Pho was really nice and tender. Absolutely regretting that I gave Photastix a 5 star rating. (face palm). We actually stopped going there a few months ago. I know this is our spot now. The first thing we appreciated was the ambiance. Nice and quiet...super clean and lots of space. The Pho actually completely sold us. The broth was amazing and didn't taste like chicken broth out of a can. The waiter we had was witty add made is laugh. I hate that I didn't catch his name. This is my favorite place to get Pho. We just have to call ahead and in about 15-20 minutes order is ready! The combination of the flavors in the Pho is very tasty, the give you all separate and well served and sealed. We also ordered the boba and this is the only place my girls have liked it. Been coming to this place for a while now. The wait staff is friendly and the food is solid. I feel that this is the best restaurant in El Paso for pho. I've tried nearly all the other places and feel that this is the best one in town. Tre Bien is ok but the broth is crazy salty from the 1st spoonful. The pho portions here are good sized and the broth is flavorful but not overwhelmingly salty which is one thing that irks me the most. It seems like many restaurants give the broth a strong flavor to keep customers from complaining about having bland soup. The downside to this is getting a weird feeling that lasts for a little while & being crazy thirsty for the rest of the day. I like a place that serves a bowl of Pho whose flavor builds as you get more into it. I usually get the Pho Tai, crispy egg rolls, and a Thai tea. If any criticism, the wait staff could do a better job with getting familiarize with the menu and how to better explain the Vietnamese dishes on the menu. Great and authentic Vietnamese food in El Paso. Their wonton is home made, they have the meat cake and shredded pork skin dishes which I missed so much from California. Glad I can find it here. Prices are decent. Service is pretty good however there were a few instances when it was slow. Unlike a typical Asian restaurant, a waiter is assigned to your table. Seeing all the positive reviews, we were pretty excited to try out the nearly authentic Vietnamese restaurant. My husband and I have had really delicious Vietnamese food especially living in the DMV area. The evening, however, ended with disappointment and sadness wondering if this was the "best" we'd get. - Summer rolls: jam packed with stale iceberg lettuce with one-two shrimp pieces and pork that had such a bad smell all messily rolled into what looked like a "roll" with lettuce pieces falling out, this was our first sign that we'd be in trouble. But no worries, we'd give them the benefit of the doubt and carry on with our meal. -Oh, before that, it took the server 15 minutes to come to our table to just greet us and get our drink menu. It wasn't even that busy on a weeknight evening so not sure what took SO long to even grab our drink order. - I got the Pho 13 small and my husband got the 11 large with extra meat. I've been to plenty pho restaurants and this small was like a kid's menu noodle and broth bowl size. Whatever. My husband's was decent. The broth y'all...was SO peppery and full of MSG. It was NOT good. Even after adding all the veggies, I just couldn't. - My husband also got a banhmi and said that it was the least appetizing banh mi that he has ever had.
