There are pavilions available and plenty of areas to sit down. The parking are was really good. There are several jungle gyms for the kiddos. The walking trail is well kept and free or holes or anything that will cause you to fall. I saw wildlife along the way. People were fishing, eating, walking, playing games, and just enjoying life. There were several pretty ducks strolling on the green grass. It rained yesterday so everything was green and bright. It seemed like a safe place to walk and run. There was nobody there seeing it was only about 10 am but it looks like a neat place.

It's also gated so you don't have to worry about your child running out into the parking lot. They just redid the pad flooring making it safe to play. This has become such a favorite spot of ours that I keep an extra towel and my kiddos swimsuit in the car at all times because we'll literally stop in between errands. Totally recommend if you are looking for something "cool" to do this summer. PS adults are allowed to get wet too.

The playground equipment is pretty standard but what made this park great is all the other stuff it's got going on. There was a musical area near the playground -- a variety of drums and things kids can bang on. I also want to note that the swing set had a high-backed adaptive swing with harness available for those that need it. Here's the best part (in my opinion). There is a miniature golf course here. How awesome is that and why don't more parks do this!? I've never seen that at any parks. You can sign out putters/balls at the rec center office (someone else posted a photo of the sign out instructions here). It appears to only be available Mon-Fri during business hours. Still, an awesome thing to have available. You can bring your own putters/balls if you come on a weekend. There was also a soccer court, tennis court, pickle ball court, football field, baseball field, and a pool with water slides. A lot to do here. Additionally, there was a birding surprise here. In the lake adjacent to the playground, there was a little island just packed with egrets. It was beautiful and unexpected.
