Overall the store seems pretty clean, with shiny floors, as well as a large foot print; it has two entrances. The cashiers were also pretty friendly. We asked for some scissors to remove a tag, and they were able to come up with a solution. Parking is pretty straightforward. There are some trees for shade.

So, I know the difference on shoes, when they have the "gray bar" on the shoe, that is for pronaters, like me! :) When I came into the store on 12/29 (just discovered this Outlet mall in general and was walking around), I was greeted by two happy associates. I wish I caught their names. But, it was one male, and one female, and both were very nice! The lady came up to me as I was looking at the shoes, and explained all the above, and I was impressed that she knew about judging the walking as well. (* I have been to a LOT of stores that sell athletic shoes, and they don't know the difference). I ended up with the Kayano, as it just felt like "butter" when I slipped it on. Plus, it was on sale, so couldn't beat that! When I approached the cash register, the gentleman behind was very nice as well, and asked how long I have liked Asics. I replied "Over a decade now". My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. We'll definitely be coming back again, kids and adults had a great time.

One time I jumped in the water at Lady Bird Lake, and I got morbidly ill for days and could not get out of bed. I would highly not recommend getting in the water there. That being said, Lake Georgetown is quite different and it would seem that the water is pretty clean there. It probably goes without saying it is much less crowded than Lake Austin/Travis or anything near downtown, and it has plenty of space for picnicking, camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Usually I will go running around Lake Georgetown because it is much less crowded than Lake Austin, and there are shorter routes depending how far you want to run. I guess the one thing I will say is that the trails to "hike" or walk around the lake are not as established as some other hiking trails I've been on, so just be prepared for that and maybe don't wear short shorts if you're going to try any hikes around the lake.

However, the frisbee golf course is basically just a flat green field with a couple of trees in it with basket nets.
