I was in town for a synchronized skating event, and the View house was right across the street from my hotel and we went there as a team. They quickly accommodated us although we were about 18 to 20 deep a total of two synchronized, skating teams, and some spouses.. I started off with an old-fashioned. It's pictured below. It did not have a cherry or any orange peel, but it was made with a Woodford bourbon. I also had a burger, it was pretty good. Nothing special about it and I opted for sauce on the side. We also had a strawberry cooler which was delicious apparently and the chicken BLT wrap with the chipotle sauce on the side and it was also apparently delicious although I wouldn't highly recommend the view house I would recommend it overall and would go back again for convenience and the way they accommodated us our waitress/server, Breckland was very friendly and helpful and I have to give her an A+ for her service. read more

Came here for a weeknight dinner and it was PACKED. We had to circle the parking lot several times before (finally) beating someone out for a spot. Upon checking in, we were seated at a high top (although we had specifically asked for a low top in the reservation. While we got seated immediately, it took over 15 minutes to be greeted by a server due to a mishap (perhaps the host didn't properly assign a server to our table). After the server arrived, she promptly took our order and the food came out correctly, which we appreciated. For food, we got: - bacon Mac and cheese - 7/10 decent, but nothing to write home about and small portions - burger and fries - 7/10 decent, nothing to write home about - jalapeno poppers - 5/10 it was an okay dish, but I think TGIF has better ones. This one had very little cream cheese and no flavor/seasoning. Fried onions were also burnt - southwest chicken salad - 7/10 portion size was very generous and the salad was very light, but taste wise, I felt this was just okay While the server was very friendly, she was hard to flag down when we needed her since she seemed to have too many tables at once. As for ambiance, it's a very lively and somewhat hectic place with tons of TV, bar seating, so great to watch a game or meet up with friends for drinks. It was within walking distance of the Hyatt Hotel we were staying at. So for lunch we wanted to come have some drinks and snack. There's a bottom floor as well as an upper floor. We decided to sit outside on the top floor so we can enjoy the views. I definitely enjoyed the snow capped mountains in the near distance. We ordered several things from their menu, including: 1. Crispy fish tacos- this was not good at all. Being from Socal, we know our fish tacos. And this wasent it. Small fish. Too much coleslaw. Tortilla was not a good fit for it either. It was not good. 2. Hot honey pepperoni pizza- this was good. I love the thin crust. Honey added some sweetness. Wish there was more of it. Pepperoni was perfectly crispy but not burnt. 3. Truffle fries- amazing!! Lots of truffle flavor and parmasean flavors. Very crispy, but soft and pillowy inside. It was truly amazing. Drinks we had several of their drinks. Lots of their signature drinks had either redbull or starry in it. 1. Purple sky- loved the colors. It tasted good too. A well balanced drink 2. Berry rum punch- had redbull in it. But very fruity and tropical. 3. Berry fizz- like the rum punch but with tequila I believe and starry 4. Strawberry cooler- a light and refreshing drink. The drinks were good. Food minus the fish tacos were good too. Its a huge layout. Im sure they get crazy busy here. This was my first time dining here, and unfortunately my experience fell well below expectations--primarily due to service and atmosphere. When I initially walked in, I observed a group of staff standing together near the entrance, laughing and on their phones. I stood at the host stand for roughly a minute and a half before anyone acknowledged me or offered assistance. That set the tone early on. I was seated upstairs, but the service did not improve. Staff members were frequently gathered together on their phones in the middle of the floor, socializing rather than attending to guests. My server was largely absent and repeatedly walked past my table without acknowledging me. I was brought my appetizer by a different staff member, and by the time my server finally returned to the table to take my entrée order, I had already finished the appetizer entirely. I never received a refill, and what should have been a quick solo lunch turned into an experience lasting over an hour and twenty minutes due to delayed and inattentive service. The food itself was decent but unremarkable. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything memorable or worth the price point. The view and presentation were nice, but those positives were outweighed by the lack of professionalism and attentiveness from the staff. Most disappointing was the overall atmosphere--it was not welcoming or guest-focused. I genuinely felt like an inconvenience rather than a customer. I am typically a generous tipper, but given the level of service, I left a minimal tip that reflected the experience. I gave one star solely because the atmosphere and service made the visit unenjoyable. With improved professionalism, attentiveness, and staff engagement, this place could do much better. Visiting so friends came to meet us for a reunion. Over 30 of us, and our waiter handled it like a pro. He had us on separate checks by family so just gave him the name and he added us to that tab. Chicken fried in fish oil, Jalopenos poppers weren't cooked fully, califlower bites were cold hard in the middle. I would NEVER come back here. This place needs a reality check. This place is huge with tons of seating. We sat upstairs to get the view. At first we sat outside, which was nice but then found out that there is a small beehive right next to us so we moved inside. Our server was good, nice and attentive. We came there in afternoon and not really hungry so we just ordered appetizers and cocktails. We've been to this place more than 6 times and before it just a mediocre place by all means but it has gone down quite bit. The teenage inexperienced bored hostess was rude so much that she literally threw menus on the table. She seemed put off by our presence, and it was clear she didn't want to be bothered with seating anyone. Our food took an obscene 55 minutes to arrive, and when it did, it was just terrible especially the Fish & Chips. But honestly, by that point, we were so fed up with the service that the food was almost an afterthought. And then, we requested to speak to the manager due to very aggressive waitress. He hated to be there at first place. Carelessly asking me few times in a row what's going on? And I politely ask him to go somewhere away from our kids so we can talk. I was afraid he would get aggressive. The service was terrible, the wait was ridiculous, and the manager's attitude was the icing on the cake. Needless to say, we won't be back. We came here for the first time for their brunch buffet on Sundays. There's a huge selection of items. Some regular buffet items and some unique items such as green chile quiche, cheeseburger slider, and stuffed tempura mushrooms. There's also the standard omelet station. Waffle station is also available along with a cold bar with salad and sushi and ceviche. There's a dessert island with various cake and cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. It may be good to have an allergen warning for nuts as there were definitely some thing on the dessert station with nuts and it was not clearly labeled. It's a weird set up. The buffet is in the inner section of the lower level and seating is all over. They sat us in the bar area and it was loud. No instructions from the host until we asked where the buffet is. Our server came up in a bit and took our drink order. They're very busy and I had forgotten it was St Patrick's Day celebrations as well. There are various sections to the buffet. Breakfast foods, seafood, brisket, dessert. There was a bartender making drinks as well. It was very chaotic with people everywhere. I had come for the seafood so I selected the warm peel your own shrimp, mussels and asked the server at the shellfish station for cold shrimp, lobster tail and crab legs. They are very stingy with the quantity. So I went back to get a second plate. I don't like getting up in between, preferring to have all the food in front of me so I can enjoy the meal. He didn't like the brisket, it was dry. The deviled eggs were cute in green for St Pat's. But that was all they were. Dry and stiff. No taste. Mussels were not palatable. Not fresh. And the cold shrimp meh. The warm shrimp were better but not all of them were fresh. The lobster tails were average. The crab legs also average. Some were too salty. And not sure if they bring you crackers for opening the claws but I had brought my own. The server was fine. She brought him more soda and when she saw I needed water brought me some. Brought me a plate to put my shells on. Parking was challenging as there were a lot of diners. Verdict - if you want a buffet that's not in Blackhawk, this is fine. It's buffet food. Not the best buffet food but it might satisfy your craving. It's out first and last time as I didn't like the chaos and didn't feel full after eating here. I also feel that the server having to parse out a couple of crab legs or lobster tails at a time was a waste of my time. First time at this Viewhouse location. Have been to the Springs and Downtown locations multiple times over the years. This location felt like the biggest and nicest for sure! with a really nice outdoor area, lots of TVs everywhere, variety of seating from booths to high tops and areas for get togethers and parties. Service for a group of 15 of us was good. Got nachos, pigs in a blanket, chicken tenders for the group and a buffalo sandwich for myself . All of the food was decent, fairly standard bar type food nothing too fancy. Happy hour bar prices are very reasonable as well. Came here for the first time on a Sunday for their all you can eat buffet brunch. I have to say this place is extremely packed and parking is definitely at a premium here even though they have a parking lot. Overall, the service and the set up does seem a bit disorganized. And I think that's obviously due to just the sheer quantity of people. The table set ups are so tight and are set up so that they can fit as many people as possible. This is very uncomfortable and when I say tight everybody around, you has to get up in order for one person to get out of their seat and out of the long tables just to get to the walking area or just to get out to get back to the food or restrooms. Surprisingly though when you go up to the food set up, there wasn't always a line which was kind of nice. After reading some of the other reviews, it is true once you go up to the lobster tail and shrimp section they literally only give you two or only one piece This ends up leading to me going up there literally a total of four times. The meat carving station was pretty impressive because it had pork belly brisket and steak. However, it was a little disappointing because every time I walked up there it seemed that most of the parts left over were either fat or really dry and overcooked. Maybe this is just due to timing. The sushi station, although impressive lacks any signage whatsoever so you have absolutely no clue what you're picking up and you better be a heck of a guesser. As someone who is allergic to salmon, I have an eye for finding it, but when you get to some of the rolls that have multiple ingredients inside of it. It's a little harder to pick it apart in front of all these people just to find out whether it has salmon or not. read more

Met some old work friends here for a Friday late lunch. When describing the place to my parents I said it's Chili's in a big building with a great view. That may be slightly unfair... Here are the things that impressed me, staff was pretty accommodating. I made a reservation online but last minute needed to change the time. Although I wasn't able to do so online, a call to the restaurant quickly fixed that. Nuts and berries salad was great. The lunch special pick two pricing and options were pretty decent. Loved the view and the indoor/outdoor feel of the second floor. Plenty of parking. Here are the things that are Chili's level but could improve. Two of us ordered the Mac and Cheese but neither of us finished it or took it home. Just bland tasting runny cheese and it didn't stay warm even though it came in the cast iron. The first floor has very little of the ambience of the 2nd floor. No regular drink menu?!?! Maybe I couldn't find it because I was handed three menus to read before ordering?!?! There are so many options in Denver for eating. I can't imagine choosing this place again. But I also would never go out of my way to discourage someone who was going to try it. read more
