    Pescado Frito

TLDR great flavor, slow service. Drinks, appetizers, and dessert all took a while. Ironically the entrees were the only thing that came out pretty speedy. Chips/guac were pretty good, but they didn't give us enough guac to match the serving of chips. They also make their own chips, and she said they're supposed to have a floral note, but tbh I wasn't getting much of that. No big deal. Pescado frito tacos were delicious, but I absolutely hate when restaurants pile the ingredients really high in the center of the taco. I guess they do it for presentation, but it's so impractical, and a pain to eat. I tried spreading it out to the sides, but I shouldn't need to do that in the first place; I should just be able to enjoy my food. Everything was inevitably spilling out, and it just wasn't a great experience. Tres leches cake was great. No gripes there. Peach mocktail was extremely sharp; I tasted way more lemon than anything fruity. Ambience is quite nice and comforting. Good view upstairs too.

Here's the lowdown on MNF, whoever Felix is: 1. Get there early! Husband and I went for a very early dinner (3:30) and sat down right away. By the time we were finished, people were waiting for a table. Off times are key. 2. Food was good, creative and unique, Mexican food with a little extra flare. Was it the best Mexican food I've ever had? No but delish nonetheless. (Highly recommend the sopapilla cheesecake!) 3. Cost...everything cost more these days and Felix is no different. It is, however, on the pricer side. But you know that ahead of time and you plan accordingly. Example: 2 drinks, appetizer, 2 dinners and dessert with tip was just over $100. Our server was super sweet and attentive. Loved the vibe. Overall, was enjoyed our time and experience at Felix.

This is my third time giving my Neighbor Felix Centennial a chance! I won't be convinced to try it again. While the service was very good throughout our meal, the food isn't good. We ordered the queso and chips as our appetizer and it wasn't very good. We all tried it and ended up leaving it on the table for the server to take away. Also I wasn't very impressed with the spooky drinks. They weren't very out of the ordinary. The drinks were fine, but all of the food wasn't very seasoned or anything I'd recommend.

Huge restaurant, great service, decorated well and clean! I got the sopa de tortilla and tacos with rice and beans. I liked how they didn't add the tortilla strips until it got to your table so they were still very crunchy. The beans were great! The rice was ok.

HH Tacos - prett good $3 each

One of three My Neighbor Felix locations, had a Happy Hour at the one in Centennial. MNF is just south of (its sister Lotus Concepts') View House Centennial [or for old-timers, the since 2009 'no-longer' standing TrailDust SteakHouse :) ] This MNF is located in the former Landry's, the upscale inside is open & hip. The HH was busy with a lot of filled tables. The service on the bar was fast & friendly; good staff. The $3 HH tacos were Ok, fair enough. I also found the prices for simple cocktails (not craft) to be on the high side. The added back of the house service fee is also a little bit off-putting. I understand the need to compensate the BoH, but I think the amount should simply be included in the menu prices.

We absolutely love this place! Our server was just amazing! She was on top of things all night! Food was fabulous as usual and the vibe and atmosphere was great! Can't wait to get back!

Monthly lunch meeting. Lots of parking in shared lot at lunch. Sat in the inner dining area and it was nice and private. Had the lunch special with green chili and pescado frito tacos. It's an additional charge for the tacos versus the other lunch special menu items. The green chili was delicious and the pescado frito tacos tasty. They came on two plates which made it a little tricky to fit with the other ladies' plates around the crowded table. The tacos were messy to eat. Good choice for lunch though. Just the right size serving. They do place a charge for using a credit card to pay and for a large group. I was not happy with the credit card fee as most people use that form of payment. That put me off this place. We may come back as it's a good central location for us. But I'll definitely use cash next time.

If you're looking for a suburban spot that feels like a vacation without the flight delay, My Neighbor Felix is your destination. This place has mastered the art of Muy Yum - starting with margaritas that could charm even your pickiest friend. Classic, spicy, fruity, frozen, rimmed in tajín or salt... whatever your margarita love language is, Felix (whoever that guy is) speaks it fluently. Happy hour here isn't just a time slot, it's a lifestyle. The tacos? Award-winning and rightfully so. Each one tastes like the chef took it personally. Guac comes out fresh and zesty, the kind that makes you consider skipping the main course. The queso, however, is... well, let's just say it missed the memo. But hey, every hero has a flaw, and queso is theirs. Inside, it's upscale Aztec-chic with just enough moody lighting and golden touches to make you feel fancy. The patio is an absolute summer oasis - part jungle, part Instagram backdrop, all good vibes. In short: go for the tacos, stay for the margs, skip the queso, and wear something cute because you're definitely taking pictures. I come here at least 3x per month and plan to keep coming back and bringing everyone who wants to join.

    Cochinita Pibil tacos

I came here for the first time with my mom who had actually been here before and I have to say they were pretty dang good! Upon getting there the hostess was nice and we got seated quickly. We came for brunch and we got the Short Rib Birria tacos and the Cochinita Pibil tacos. The birria tacos were so good and I have never had anything like them before! The birria ju they use was so good and the meat was delicious. My moms Cochinita tacos were also fantastic and I loved the little kick they had with the salsa! The inside is cute and I loved how it looks! Our waitress was great as well and took great care of us. I definitely will come back here again but I want to come for lunch or dinner to try things on the main menu!

    Dry chicken fajitas.
    Richard C.

My second time here and to be honest, I'm disappointed. A small water with no ice and the chicken fajitas were very dry. $44 was a bit much for fajitas for 2 and my expectations were bigger. I did learn that the recipes come from a number of Mexican recipes mainly coastal I believe as pineapple is a core ingredient. We ha a great waitress a she came by often to fill up the tiny glasses. I think there are better places like, Los Dos and Hacienda.

Hosted a mini baby sprinkle here for a friend! We had the corner table on the second floor and the restaurant vibes were great along with the decor/setting. The service was good it was busy and we had someone new working at the restaurant but they did great. It was a bit slow but we were also enjoying ourselves so it was nice. I will say you aren't going to get authentic Mexican food but it's still good! I had the steak fajita and spilt it with a friend since it was for two and it was good. The drinks were nice, I would come here again.

Out of towner here - Chose to sit outside on a chilly evening BONUS table had built in fire to provide heat! Watermelon margarita was perfectly done! Nachos did not disappoint!!! Flavor blast overload! Tacos are one of my favorite foods, if I could go here more often I would! Loved the tacos!! Loved the ambiance, a must to try! All pros no cons, staff was fast and friendly.

Elderflower Margarita & Chips and salsa
    Isa B.

I would give it a 3.5. Stopped by after work for some drinks and appetizers, and it wasn't too crowded! The staff was very friendly as well. We got the elderflower margarita which was good (a little sweet), the nachos, quesadilla, and chips and salsa. The green salsa was definitely the best out of the different types. The nachos and quesadilla were pretty decent, and while the radishes were a surprise, I actually quite liked the crunch and addition of them! Overall I'd say their drinks are good and appetizers were decent, with pretty decor and nice staff.

Often. Have you seen how often I check in??? For client meetings. For get togethers. For coffee. For cocktails. It's neighbor is Cranelli's, my other fave spot for Italian. Just look for the bright yellow umbrellas and you know you've arrived to coffee heaven. Parking can get nuts during the busy hours but there's always one available if you just exercise patience so you can get the aahhmazing Vietnamese coffee. I adore the owners Tracy and Q who are usually on site and welcoming guests or working the counter. They invite you in with their warm smiles and happy soul. Staff is always friendly and ready to serve you the caffeine fix or in my case the cocktails. I am head over heels on the Lychee Peachy, Espresso Martini or Afterwork Refresher if I am not getting the coffee flights. Trust me, you can't drink just one Lychee Peachy. The coffee flights of chilled coffee are customizable (four options you can choose from a rotating list of regular and seasonal flavors). The flights are so Instagram swoon worthy and art itself. I also can't get over the incredible baked goods like the cream cheese cruffins that I won't share. There is such a selection of breakfast items like the lox and bagel that will taste so good with your coffee. The light bites are so yummy and a meal itself. I highly recommend the steak bites, the shrimp toast and the banh mi board if you had to start with anything. I learned that they have a similar concept at the Golden Triangle where Q's brother is the owner. It's on my list though I am partial and loyal to this location. May all your to-do's turn in to ta-da's! Peaky Peak makes me look forward to tomorrow's coffee.

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.
