I have been coming here for almost 5 years!!! Where do I even start! #1 they are busy, profesional, kind people making sure your items are taken of!!! BUT when they do have time to chat WOW are they extra helpful!!! To explain, once Mr. Park took the time to teach me how to use the second zipper on my coat so that I would stop breaking it. And then Mrs. Park took the time to help me fix my favorite suitcase before I trashed it. I just can't thank Viking Cleaners enough for always going above and beyond in their services. TERRIBLE. I got my wedding dress cleaned and boxed through their outsourced company. My dress had rips in it and the veil was damaged and crushed after the service. They refused to refund my money and deal with the problem. POOR SERVICE read more

I dropped off some shirts and slacks about a week before Thanksgiving. The woman asked me if I would be okay for a pickup after the holiday. I said fine. I came the day after Thanksgiving. The store was closed and now there was a sign stating they would be closed from the holiday until the Monday after. I returned that Monday. I was told by this same woman that my order was not ready and could I come back in a couple of days. I returned on Th. which was over two weeks since I dropped them off. I was charged $48 for the order on my debit card. The next day the charge by Viking was $50. I called. The same woman said the difference was a processing charge by the bank. This was a lie as I called the bank. The bank debit was run for the $50, not $48. A processing fee is not allowed by law to debit cards. I asked for my money back. I haven't received it yet. The service was mediocre at best, the shirts always had to be ironed again, the value of good customer service is a total mystery for these owners. read more

Definitely go to Viking Cleaners! IF YOU WANT YOUR GARMENTS LOST AND YOU WANT TO BE TREATED POORLY! I went to Viking for years and I usually prepaid in advance. I gave them lots of business as they were in a convenient location. The last few years I gave them garments for winter storage. This year when it was time to pick my storage up it was missing a coat. When I asked Kee, who I usually dealt with where it was he insisted he did not have it. When I elaborated and told him exactly when it was given to him he looked into the issue and said "maybe it was deleted from the system". As discomforting as this was I was still optimistic that my coat would show up. I went to Viking in December with my wife to check in on the issue knowing I had dropped the coat off for storage. When I expressed my concern Kee's wife scoffed at me and chuckled. Kee couldn't have been more condescending and repeatedly rolled his eyes at me. So much for customer service after I was a model, prepaying customer for years. I decided to maybe give Viking one last chance a couple months later. I came into their establishment with a large pile of garments to be cleaned and asked if the coat had turned up. "What coat?" Was the response I received from Kee's wife. Kee came out and condescended to me and again, denied they ever had the coat I know I dropped off. I got a couple of insincere apologies from the two of them. After an argument I told him I would be taking my business elsewhere and advised him not to roll his eyes at paying customers going forward. He is truly an abomination when it comes to dealing with the public (and keeping track of loyal customers' garments). I took my business elsewhere and when I told them what had transpired at Viking they said they frequently hear similar stories about them. In closing, Viking Cleaners are untrustworthy, rude and irresponsible. Avoid at all costs for the sake of your clothes! If I could give them negative stars I would. read more

High quality dry cleaning. High end clothing and suits will be treated perfectly and come back perfect. Very trustworthy.

This was the first time using them as a dry cleaner and we brought a suit, shirt and a nice Pottery Barn fur blanket. The suit and shirt came out fine, but the blanket had a horrible smell when we received it back. We ended up calling them and the guy who works there was very nice and said to bring it back and that he would take care of it. When I dropped it off he thought that maybe it wasn't dried the whole way. We picked it up again and it had a slight smell, but was definitely way better then the first time around. The blankets weren't ruined and are in good shape and I'm sure the smell will fade. It was very reasonable, only $15 for the blanket which I thought was a good deal. The couple was pleasant and friendly so I will give them another try. read more

Finding a good dry cleaner is like finding the love of your life. When we moved to Winthrop - we were both in relationships with other dry cleaners, so we were hesitant to try a new one out. But, going to Eastie or Somerville didn't make any sense, so we gave Viking a shot. We're so glad we did. Keith & his wife are wonderful - it's like they've known you for years. When I'm the one on pick up duty, Keith kindly brings the dry cleaning and hangs it up in my car for me - and he offers pick up and delivery service for Winthrop residents. We haven't taken advantage of that service just yet - we enjoy the face to face interaction. read more

They did a great job with some new Seven jeans I needed hemmed. I wasn't expecting them to need 5 days with them but when I got them back I was very pleased. The stitching was seamless and they pressed them impeccably. All for only $12! I hear about people paying $25 to hem jeans on Newbury St. and think about what a ripoff it is. This place was a great deal! The lady at the counter was very professional. She'll put you in the system and before you leave, give you a slip with the price and pickup date. read more

I've used so many dry cleaners in my life, and Viking Cleaners has nailed it. They clean your clothes like nobody's business. White deodorant marks on the underarms of your dark dress? Gone. Smelly pit smells and yellow pit stains? Gone. Ring around the collar on your husband's button-downs that no one has been able to get rid of? Gone. On top of that, their prices are extremely fair and their friendly service so refreshing. I'm sticking with Viking Cleaners. read more
