Viking is a really clean laundromat located on Lake Street. We have used them a couple times now when we had issues with our washer or dryer, and have liked them every time. They are open fairly good hours, they are rarely super busy, the entire laundromat is clean, they use quarters (as opposed to tokens), and they are well located walking distance from a number of things to do while you wait for your laundry. Also, they have fairly attentive staff that is happy to help if you run into any problems. Parking is easy on lake street or in the back. All in all, this is a great laundromat! read more

Yes, I am a fan of this place. Since my dryer machine is broken and I haven't washed my clothes for almost a week now, this location is closest to where I live. I drove passed by the other day and saw free Wi-Fi and free dryer! I got super excited! Came in with one load of clothes. I noticed in order to get the free dryer you must use their washers. I guess it makes sense to get it free. The guy working behind the counter is super cool. He was very helpful on how to use the machine and with any questions. The washer machine comes in three different sizes. They ranges from $2.75 to $5.50 which is not bad. All the dryers are free everyday! It took me 30 minutes to dry all my clothes. I was basically there for one hour. The place is not that big. It has plenty of chairs and 3 tvs for everyone to sit and relax. There are vending machines packed with chips, sodas and detergents. There is a little room with 4 chairs that you could sit and play with your laptop. I didn't get to use my laptop cause I didn't stay long. Overall I had a good experience here. Viking Village Cleaner & Laundromat is by far the best laundromat in town. They have varying size washers that range from 2.75 to 9.25 that are cost efficient, well maintained and clean well. Dryers are free however, you need to wash there In order to get it. The have free wifi, free parking, TV's, snacks, soap and the list goes on. It has heat and air conditioning. In addition, their employees are very helpful, kind, and will answer any questions you have regarding washers, dryers, or anything there. It has to bathrooms for ladies and gentlemen and a lounge/chill room. Overall, I defiantly recommend this laundromat. read more

Maintenance is poor. Washing machines are often out of service for weeks at a time. Many dryers will not heat--will give only cold air. Counter person is sullen, unless, of course, you are also Latina. Location and parking are only pluses. read more

I've been using Viking Village for years as my go-to dry cleaner and also for alterations. They are very careful and insist that everything brought in for alterations is clean. Free Drying!!!! love this place! All the machines are brand new and state of the art. You can use your credit/debit card with some of the machines & dryers. The 100lb machine is great! I used it may first time and it left my clothes better than expected. The owners and the staff are all extremely nice! The owners here are incredble! They salvaged a very unique & dear-to-me coat after the expensive cleaners almost ruined it. I consulted with them on a Saturday and by Sunday afternoon got a call that my coat was ready for my review of their work. They are open until 9 pm every night, including Sundays - a major plus for those of us who work long hours during the week. Their prices are on the low side, but what really stands out is their understanding of garments & fabric and their willingnes to keep the customer informed and "make things right".
