I called to make a reservation approximately two weeks in advance and had a specific request regarding my room. Instead of receiving assistance, I was repeatedly interrupted and talked over by the front desk representative. She never took the time to actually listen to what I was asking and seemed more interested in ending the conversation than helping a prospective guest. The tone throughout the call was dismissive, impatient, and unprofessional. I even requested to speak with a manager and was not given the opportunity to do so. Whether or not my request could have been accommodated is not the issue. Great hospitality begins with listening, communicating respectfully, and making guests feel valued. Unfortunately, I experienced the exact opposite. If this is how prospective guests are treated before they even arrive, it raises serious concerns about the property's customer service culture. I sincerely hope management reviews its staff training and addresses the importance of respectful communication, active listening, and professionalism. This experience alone was enough to make me reconsider staying at this property.

The views from the condos are the best in Santa Barbara and they are within walking distance to the wharf where there are numerous restaurants from which to chose. The harbor is also within walking distance and it has restaurants and a fresh fish market. After selecting the fish, barbecuing the fish on the top deck of the condos offers stunning views of the coastline. It is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view and company of other people who are staying at Seacliff. There are also yoga classes offered weekly. Seacliff is now opening the viewing deck for small weddings. Seacliff is one of a kind in Santa Barbara and the management is on site and responds immediately to any issue you might have-small or large.

It's clean and modern decor but dorm vibe. The view is great though possible ucsb has the best campus in the world. We checked in at 5:45 by the time we got our bags out of the car the receptionist has gone. So that means we have no one to ask about anything included time for breakfast. We woke up and came down to the office at 9 just to find out that our breakfast has packed away. Seriously. It's not even a sit down breakfast he explained it's a box to go. What! You can't keep it for 2 rooms guests? Horrible. Nonsense. Nothing is opened during spring break so we literally had to check out to go find breakfast. They still use coffee pods (keurig that we don't do because it tastes bad and trashes the planet). So this is 250 dollars per night dorm room with no pool no lobby no breakfast no hospitality. Shameful.

It's a little hidden the best way to find it is to walk towards manzanita village coming from the SRB it will be on your left hand side. It's a white building that doesn't really have anything around it and looks like it was built in the 80s. Walk through the main entrance through an outdoor hallway looking deal and you'll come across 2 doors. Open those up and you'll reach a flight of stairs and it's down below. Crazy epic journey hope you don't get lost. Oh best part is they having desserts. Straight pastry chef shit like toasted meringue mocha ice cream pie. I know.....faculty has been holding out.

The code for the lock did not work, nor were we told that it was for the rear door lock. When we returned from dinner, we could NOT get in. We stayed outside for close to an hour in 52 degree weather talking to your night customer service to no avail. We had children with us, including a 4 month old baby and we waited out in the cold to get in. We even called "911" per instructions and the dispatcher said, they could not help us. The police would not break down the door per the law. We finally got in through a loose screen and was able to open the window. My little granddaughter climbed in and opened the door for us. 2. The 1st floor of the house is not heated. I stayed in the downstairs bedroom and it was extremely cold. Portable heaters were provided but it blew the circuit on the 1st floor. We reset the breaker 3 times. I finally slept with my jacket on. I had no power in the room. I could not use my CPAP machine to help regulate my breathing, I could not charge my phone nor my Apple Watch in the room. 3. On night 2, the TV remote didn't work. It wasn't a depleted battery but a bad remote. 4. In addition, the temperature situation on the 1st floor was not resolved and I slept with my jacket on 2 nights in a row. DO NOT STAY ON THIS PROPERTY. Bad property management support. Owner is responsible for basic necessities I.e. heating of 1st floor. Looking to get a full refund of my stay.

There were loud parties on the shared back deck well past quiet hours; also the alarm next door was going off for hours. There was dish soap but no sponge. It was decorated with fake flowers- like a grandma house. The bed was old and bouncy - can't turn over without waking up partner. Would not stay again. Most importantly- when we reached out the staff were unhelpful. They questioned us and did little in the way of hospitality. You are basically on your own until check out.

Nice little hotel near the beach. My issue is the amenities. The website states the rooms have AC, mini fridge etc however our room had no AC just a ceiling fan and box fan? The weekend was very humid so it was very hot in our room even with the box fan and ceiling fan it was hard to sleep bc of the temperature in the room. I mentioned this during check-out and the front desk staff immediately became rude stating that the room doesn't have AC and if we wanted that we needed to request a room with AC specifically when we book the room via the website (which there is no option for that) We stay in SB a lot. Never had this kind of experience. Probably won't stay again because for the price of the room ($300+ fees a night) there should be air conditioning and polite staff.
