Alright...I gotta be honest- THE PHOTOS DON'T DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE! At least not the ones that currently exist on the Yelp page. It was not an absolutely perfect dining experience, but I will give kudos where kudos are deserved. I will say, the outside of the restaurant gives way more opulent feel than what is on the inside. The villa looks like one out of Italy with statues on the property, a nice little outdoor area to run around (if you ask my almost 2 year old). The inside is casual, so no need to get overly dressed up like my family did (unless you want to). Fresh baked rolls and a pesto oil are set on the table to start. It was a bad day to be roll and oil at our table. While I was not incredibly overwhelmed by the dipping oil, the majority of our party was practically fighting over the little dish of green-oil-goodness. All of the entrees are served with soup or salad. The salad was a little sad, but it wasn't enough to ruin the review. I just assumed the balsamic dressing was a vinaigrette and not just straight acid burning your insides. The calamari was good! Perfectly crisp, accompanied by the perfect marinara for dipping. As for entrees, I went with the limoncello entree with chicken. The sweet lemon cream sauce, is unlike anything I've ever tried, and perfectly paired with asparagus, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes over linguini. Would order again, but also would likely order a different dish because there were so many delicious looking entrees across the table. I was most intrigued by the dishes that our party got with the cheese sacchetti. They are like most other cheese filled pastas but the shape and texture really gave you a lovely pop of cheese as you bite into it. The waitress was fine- not friendly, but also didn't mess anything up, aside from not bringing a dish for disposing shells from the seafood rissoto (she's forgiven). Restaurant is a bit in the middle of nowhere it seems, but worth the ride! From the moment you walk in, both inside and out, appears very Authentic Italian. We ordered the Seafood Salad and Sausage Stuffed Long Hots for Appetizers, Delish! Generous portions and very tasty! Mixed drinks are Strong, the way I like it! Wanted to update my recent review but was unable to. We loved the restaurant (recently reviewed) and after talking with neighbors who have been to the pizzeria (behind the restaurant) and raved about it, we wanted to give that a try, too. We were not disappointed! Our server, Bruce, was every bit as personable and knowledgeable as our server in the restaurant (Pumi?). Cocktails were delish (I had the Clementines Prosecco Spritzer). Hubby had his usual 7 and 7. The pizza was truly one of the best I've ever had. The place was packed at...literally 4:25 PM on a Friday. We were lucky to get a hi-top table. The last one available. We ordered a personal pizza (Gino's Favorite) and at 12 inches, was way too much for the two of us. Thank goodness we like leftovers! We will definitely be back here again, and a bit earlier to experience Happy Hour at the bar. Bruce says that many of the delish-sounding pizzas on their menu are available by the slice during Happy Hour, making it a bit easier to decide which one is your favorite! This is our favorite local pizza spot. Take out or eat in, it's always delicious. We go for the Gino Jr.'s Favorite. They have a busy bar, with local brews on tap and a decent house cab. You can almost always get a table, even on the busiest of nights. It can be loud in the bar and adjoining dining area, but the inside restaurant is a bit more dressed up. read more

The food here is not the best. Everything is either too seasoned or no flavor at all. Family members had to send back 2-3 meals when we were eating, specifically the Chicken Francais. The only thing that was good was the gnocchi in blush sauce. It was delicious actually. Their drinks are the same deal - too strong or no alcohol at all! Not to mention the service was TERRIBLE. It took 45 minutes to have our orders taken and our food was timed poorly. Apps, salads and entrees all 20 minutes apart. It was almost 2 hours before we were able to eat our dinner. I don't want to blame the server because I know how kitchens can be. When my fiancee and I gave it a second chance (for the gnocchi) no one had told our server we were sat and we didn't receive service for 20 minutes. Met friends they for Happy Hour on Thursday. They actually have happy hour Monday through Friday and Ladies night on Thursday! I didn't realize there are 2 entrances so I sat at the front bar which is small and low key. Bartender there was very friendly. When I realized there was a back bar, bartender actually walked me over (had to go back outside to get there). Dining area looked pretty big, but we just walked passed it for me to get a better idea to judge. Back bar is a bigger area with pub tables around too. The ambience is lively with music playing. We sat at the bar and the Bartender was amazing -- attentive, skilled and funny! Drinks are delicious and the Happy Hour prices were a huge bonus! We ordered food from the happy hour menu; cheesesteak egg rolls were tasty, clams were good but not spicy at all for me, the spicy macaroni bites were very good but had a funny presentation (perhaps a smaller plate or bowl would've been better). The nachos were blah, but the more martinis we had the better they tasted! Lol. It was a great night- stayed til it closed. So I've been here a couple of time. This place is very run of the mill for me. The pizza is decent and the set up for the more casual dining is kind of odd. But if you're looking for a quick bite and a drink this place gets it done. Service: We always have a great server. The management is very weird. This place rotates through minimum wage workers like a high school. You can tell it's disorganized but some how the food always ends up in front of you. Food/Drinks: Food is fine, nothing to write home about. The menu is giant but I would stick to the easy things you know (pizza, sandwich, tenders/wings). They're worth the price. They have the tall beer towers which fits the clientele and seem fun, they have a normal draft selection and a ton of wine. Overall it's a easy pick when you don't know what to eat. Honestly have never heard of this restaurant until a friend mentioned recently. My wife and I decided to go tonight and we are so glad we did so. The staff are super friendly. Our waiter Isaac was tremendous. We started out with the calamari appetizer and it was great crunchy and flavorful. My soup was delicious and my wife said her cesar salad was great. I ordered the linguini and clams in the Filomena sauce and she had the chicken parm. We both enjoyed the meals. And last but not least. They have a great drink menu and selection of liquors. Bourbons etc. We will def be back and I recommend trying the place. The back restaurant is casual and the front is a bit more formal depending on the mood you're in. read more

I took three guests with me to Villa Fazzolari, a restaurant I had never been too previously. It' a rather large and everything seemed to be new. It's spotlessly clean, I was given a warm greeting when entering and quickly escorted to a table. For my meal I ordered an appetizer of their Clams Casino and for my main course, their Veal Francese with a side of garlic and olive oil spaghetti. I didn't see the spaghetti done only with garlic and olive oil on the menu but when I requested there didn't seem to be any problem. When my Clams Casino arrived they were in an eye appealing presentation with 8 to the plate. My waitress asked me how I enjoyed them and I could honestly respond that they were indeed very good. She then said "They're the real Italian," but I didn't bother telling her they were a creation of Chef Keller at the Narragansett Pier in Rhode Island. Hence having nothing to do with Italy or Italian cuisine. My veal francese likewise was decent in appearance and also good in texture and overall flavor. It had, for me, what I thought to be an overly thick batter that ended up giving it a somewhat soggy effect but it certainly had a clean fresh lemon taste. I wouldn't say the food here is Villa Fazzolari uniquely good or in any way exception but certainly better than what is typically found. Was up in New Jersey to see family and we all decided to go to Villa Fazzolari. The place is a beautiful restaurant with a friendly staff and our waitress was great. She was hustling around waiting tables in different rooms and back to us getting us what we need efficiently. Definitely a hard worker! Now onto the food. I got the muscles with the Fazzolari sauce which was great. I got the Veal Parmesan my family got Broccoli Rapa & Sausage Cavatelli, Chicken Piccata, Chicken Oscar & Trio Fra Diavolo. The appetizers and main dishes were great and like I said the waitress was Very GOOD! I ordered two Pizzas and they were not only burnt, but while waiting the manager picked up the trash can and yelled at the Pizza maker making him stick his hand into the trash and pull out a dirty sauce covered plastic carton. The Pizza maker never washed his hands and went back to making more Pizzas. The manager watched and said nothing. No wonder why there are reviews of people getting sick. read more

Went with Family and Friends for a birthday dinner. There are apparently two areas that you can eat; one is in the front that is supposed to be more fancy while the back, where we ate, is more open and family style. The place itself is kind of strange as you can tell it's a room that is used for events such as weddings. The food was really good and was a very large portion (enough to take home for a second meal). I had the Shrimp & Crab Meat Fra Diavolo which came with either soup or salad, bread, and your choice of pasta. I selected the salad with the house Italian dressing. I enjoyed the dressing as it had some nice herbs in it. The bread were small almost dinner roll shaped bites and were very good. My spaghetti was very good and the Fra Diavolo sauce had a real nice spice to it. My only issue was the spaghetti was fine just not the best I've had. The beer and wine selection is also very good. For such a large party service was really great. Everything ran smooth and came out quickly and the waitress was by herself for about 15+ people. From the old Italian guy singing horribly and nonstop to the slow service to finally the most disgusting cheap fake food I've ever had in my dining experiences. I have no idea how this place has any positive reviews- they are probably written by the tiny manager who has a disgusting attitude. I was served oatmeal glue vomit which was described as being risotto. let's not forgot the 4 raw shrimp. My husband had some Barilla penne pasta with Ragu sauce that was so drenched in garlic to disguise the likely days old watery sauce. They couldnt even manage to make the most common drink in America- a Cosmo. To top it all off, the manager was completely rude, had an attitude, and zero customer service. Literally just re-downloaded the Yelp app so I could write this... This place is awful. Everything was unflavorful, greasy, and tasted like it was made days ago. All of our chicken tasted like it was boiled. The "white wine sauce" was bizarrely like the broth packet for Ramen noodles. For the price, I expected WAY more. Disgusting "Owner" If you enjoy your dinner to be served with a side of verbal assault, look no further, you've found the place. My family members who frequent Villa Fazzolari had rented a room to celebrate a child's birthday. While attending this small gathering a parent asked if we could order a pizza for the two young children in attendance. The parent had ordered pizza in the past so they knew it was a menu item. The "owner" responded by disputing that it was not possible and even said "I already told you that I don't have to deal with you disgusting people". A simple no would have sufficed.. Perhaps, instead he could have offered a kid's menu? Needless to say being called "disgusting" really did bring down the mood of this CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY. When confronted by the host of the party, the"owner" became very irate and loudly said "I could kick you out, disgusting people, I don't serve people that are jerkoffs, what planet do you live on signora" . This uncomfortable exchange took place just outside the room that was rented and heard by all in attendance. It was after this exchange that the catering order was found to be incorrect. A manager, not the "owner", came out to address this issue. The manager was polite, respectful, and calm as he appropriately handled the situation. I would also like to make note that the wait staff was also excellent and handled this uneasy situation with grace and tact. To close, it came to light that the "owner" is in fact the actual owner's entitled son. I will only remember the name of this restaurant as to be sure that I will never go back and can advise others to stay away. read more

It's sort of a hit-or-miss type of restaurant. The house salad is obviously a bagged salad, the same as the grocery store. I do like the eggplant rollantine and the pasta dishes with seafood are decent. The pizza is good. Service is meh, it is a very busy restaurant for some unknown reason.
