My flight choices were all spot on and so were our meal choices. I got a flight with an add on Mud Hen Something Special Sour POG beer as my add on. Wanted a local brewery and that was a perfect compliment to my other choices. Everything about here was clean and refreshing, perfect decor included outdoor seating. I just saw a television commercial for this place. They should probably spend less on advertising and more on hiring servers who actually want to do their job. I went there twice. The first time, we sat at a table and waited for service. Then, we waited some more. Food wasn't bad. Not worth the bad service. The second time. We sat a table. Went here for the first time on Friday of Labor Day weekend. There were only 2 servers who were serving both inside and outside and busing tables, taking orders, getting drinks from the bar, serving and packaging take out orders. It was absolutely ridiculous. We've passed this place several times, so we decided to try it out and came with a party of 4 and had the option to sit outdoors which we did. We should've opted for inside so that we wouldn't have to fan flies away while trying to enjoy our meals. Face mask are not required and there was hand sanitizer. The ambiance is nice outside so I decided to come here. We go to sit outside and every table around us had the last diners plates. Clean up! I had sliders here one time and they were good so I was expecting a good meal. Got the happy hour $9 chicken quesadilla. It was TINY. Tasted pretty good but was funny small. I got the Brown Sugar Bourbon wings. They are a dry rub which I thought was odd. All I smelled was maple syrup yet I barely tasted anything. Tasted liked they were fried and rolled in salt. Gross. I ate half. 10 wings $16. What a waste. Wife got steak tacos and for $15 you think you would get 3. Nope...2 and they arnt big. Tasted good though. I've been curious about this spot for a while. I don't get to south Jersey often. A loss in the family led a few of us here. The bartender/server for the early shift on Tuesday, Alexis, was super great to us. The drink selection was really good. I grabbed the Hot Apple Pie without the whip cream and it was delicious. My cousin had the Boom Boom Shrimp so I tried one and my goodness... delicious. Perfect breading, right amount of sauce with a little bit of heat. Started with onion rings followed with rib eye steak sandwich excellent flavor and tenderness cooked perfectly. My wife had teriyaki wings which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service by Lexi was excellent. This place is brand new. It's really nice inside. I've heard mixed reviews about this place. I forgot my ID at home after a flight so I didn't get to try any drinks but the guys I was with had a lot of good to say about the options. Three stars because our server had a hard time tonight. She couldn't really figure out her device and told us no food and had a hard time remembering beers they ordered. The manager let us order, that was really nice of him. When the nachos came out and the cheese wasn't melted and it just needed over all more toppings. Buuuuttt we came late on a monday night. Definitely going to give this place another try and maybe sit at the bar next time And hopefully leave a better updated review Update: Still 3 stars 8-10 servers and no hostess. We managed to find a seat at 5pm for some apps. Boom boom shrimp, chicken nachos (no jalapeños or scallions), and a cheesesteak was ordered. The server was perfectly attentive while also greeting most people who came in the door but the atmosphere is completely thrown off with customers wandering for a seat and stalking the bar squatters. As for the food the cheese steak was amazing and came on a great roll it also came with exactly 10 tator tots which at first looked sparingly but they were very rich with flavor of onion and garlic. The wings were "Boom Boom" flavor and the flavor was different from what we've had before; a very mild and creamy sauce. Lastly, the nachos were pretty disappointing. We mentioned it to the server who brought the manager over and we expressed our concerns with the lunch meat chicken and cheese $10 nachos. As for the check, the server had to hand over her ordering device which asked a series of questions, along with tip and a signature. It's part of the future I guess but then she's stuck at our table while we figure out the device because she can't help anyone else while we have the gadget. This place has some kinks to figure out. Crap. Service is utterly crap. Server had an attitude that delivered. When you order a drink and 30 minutes later they come back asking can I get you anything. This is a problem. And when the other servers clearly talk about how bad they are. Come on. Advice: Bartenders don't defend your bad servers by exaggerating how busy your empty tables are. It makes you and your establishment look bad. But fair is fair. Once the restaurant became busy they stepped up their game. I would say 5% to 60%. We politely obliged and chose to write this review instead. Service is everything. This staff was more interested in one bill than a lifetime of repeat business and, given the fact that this place was half empty at prime dinner time on a Saturday night, it shows. Whoever is reading this can make their own choice. The beer selection is great ( however, 3 beers I asked for on the menu were no longer available, our waitress didn't know anything about beer and "forgot" they had a beer menu....its a beer restaurant...HELLO!) My GF's cocktails were very good, so there's that. Our food was ok. It isn't the priciest place so maybe you get what you pay for, and that's fine. We came here on a Wednesday night for dinner. We were seated outside on the patio. It took a few minutes for our server to even great us and even longer to receive our drinks. There were not many full tables so we could not understand why service was so slow. We had the guacamole which is listed as made in house. If it was made there, it certainly wasn't made for our order as the avocados were brown around the edges from sitting out. We ordered children's chicken fingers, fish tacos which were grilled and not fried very disappointing (the menu does state the fish is grilled so we have it a chance) and a cheeseburger. We would probably not come back as the food was disappointing, and our server appeared to care less about us as she never checked on us during our meal. After visiting this restaurant today I am honestly displeased with the service. Apparently due to low traffic the service is on a down hill. Ordering the margarita flight gave me a headache due to the excessive amount of juice inside of the alcoholic drink. It is recorded that the best bartender / manager (same person) they have is currently on staff and there's nothing they can do more than to take off 50% the drinks that were disgusting. While I came in only for beer, I tried the wings, which were okay, but the blue cheese was a little weak and too plastic. Standard bar food here. Nothing special. Today I sampled the Five Finger Scottish Ale, the Three Threes Creamed Coffee Porter, and a Wickedly Wayward Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. While I love all varieties, the Hefeweizen smacked me right away as the winner, well balanced with citrus on the palate and ripe banana in the nose.
