I love family owned dining and this place is why. You just enter and feel welcome. Luigi (owner) is always there to greet you and always moves around ensuring everything is done right. The food, however, is the real star. Everything is prepared fresh with fresh ingredients. Their sauce/ gravy is so delicious. The complimentary homemade, served warm, bread and olive oil is a meal on its own. Wonderful indoor and outdoor dining. Valet parking. A few miles from downtown Clearwater Beach

Where do I start!? The best Italian food located on the Clearwater Beach to St. Pete Beach strip. Truly a mom-and-pop Italian restaurant. The owner knows everyone, the food is like straight from Nona's kitchen. A notable shoutout for the Grouper Cartoccio. We went here after my (now) husband and I got engaged! I have taken almost every guest we've had to Villa Gallace. It's worth every penny and then some. Run, don't walk, just go.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and experience at Villa Gallace. Welcomed warmly by owner Luigi and exceptional service by Angelo throughout the evening. The bread was warm and crusty accompanied by seasoned olive oil. The linguine with white clam sauce was cooked perfectly with an abundance of clams and garlic. The grouper dish was cooked puttanesca style was delicious. Entrees come with a salad and some come with a side of penne. The ambiance was warm and comfortable. They also have a nice wine list with many moderately priced options. I highly recommend Villa Gallace.

First time here while on vacation. Service was great and for very tasty. Ambiance was very soothing with lovely background music. I ordered spinach egg drop soup and calamari. The fresh bread with olive oil was delicious. Hubby ordered tossed salad and lasagna. He really enjoyed his meal. I also had a Sangria! We had a very lovely experience.

This Italian restaurant in the Indian Rocks Beach area of St. Petersburg, serves traditional pasta and meat dishes in a cozy atmosphere with a semi-formal decor. We shared the Calamari and then we split the Eggplant Parm with a side of pasta and added an extra salad. Everything was delicious. Our server was very friendly and efficient.

One of my favorite spots in Indian Rocks Beach! My boyfriend and I discovered this restaurant last February and couldn't wait to come back. They're a small old school italian restaurant that's always busy! This visit we had fresh bread, insalata caprese, veal parmigiana, fettuccine alfredo, baked ziti, and gnocchi gorgonzola. Everyone loved their meals, they were all rich in flavor. The gnocchi gorgonzola is my favorite, the sauce is creamy and rich with fresh gnocchi. The service is always excellent. They're very polite and attentive. The owner also takes his time to greet you when you come in and checks on the tables. Excited to visit again!

    Rigatoni Puttanesca "spicy"

3.9 Stars... Villa Gallace -- where the food is authentically Italian, and that's either a blessing or, depending on your taste buds, a little too authentic. We started with the calamari, which was actually really good -- crispy, not chewy, and not drowning in mystery sauce. Off to a strong start. I had the rigatoni puttanesca, which was labeled "spicy" and, for once, actually lived up to the claim. It was bold, briny, and delicious -- the kind of dish that makes you feel like you're eating in a Roman back alley in the best way possible. My son devoured his spaghetti and gave it two messy thumbs up. My daughter happily inhaled the chicken parm, so clearly the kids know what's up. Then there was the baked ziti. My wife found it "just okay" -- but to be fair, she prefers her Italian food with a little more Olive Garden energy and a little less authenticity. ("Too cheesy" is apparently a thing now?) If you like real-deal Italian with a touch of spice and zero gimmicks, this place is a gem. If you like your pasta with a side of garlic bread and ranch dressing... maybe not your scene.

Food was phenomenal Service (I'm sorry I forgot her name) she was amazing, attentive and lovely. We sat outside. It's was a beautiful evening. Only thing I would suggest is to spray for bugs. Will always come back here. Just won't wait as long as I have.

Outstanding Italian food at this locally owned spot in Seminole…read more It's a storefront shop at the corner of a strip mall. Don't let the nondescript exterior food you. Inside is an eclectically decorated Parisian bistro. There are about a dozen tables in an L-shaped room, plus a few outside on the patio. Service is excellent. Our server was friendly, knowledgable and charming. Our orders were all correct and service was quick - about 15 minutes from order to main course. Began with burrata. A baseball-sized ball of fresh, creamy cheese is served with bruschetta and slices of crisped bread. The cheese is luxurious, and the bruschetta sweet and tangy. A great start. I tried spaghetti aglio & olio with shrimp. Perfectly cooked (al dente) spaghetti is tossed in sauteed garlic and olive oil. I added shrimp; 5 large shrimp, sauteed in garlic and olive oil. Shrimp were perfect - nice crunch to each bite, not mushy or rubbery. Extra points for being tails-off. This is one of my favorites, and it's done right here. I sampled fiocchi de catheren; something I'd never had before. Fiocchetti are purses of pasta - similar to gnocchi except more delicate and less dense. In this prep the fiocchetti are stuffed with ricotta cheese and pears, with a very light cream sauce. The sweet pear almost make it seem like dessert! This is an excellent dish that I'm totally ordering myself next time. Also tried a bite of chicken gorgonzola. Perfectly prepared penne is tossed with sauteed veggies and slices of chicken breast, then topped with gorgonzola cheese sauce. It's alfredo-like, but a little sharper. An excellent combination. To me, this one of those hidden treasures - a place that's been there for years and we've driving past it many times but never stopped. No longer! This one gets added to the rotation. RECOMMENDED!

Very Disappointing Experience -- Poor Planning and Communication…read more We booked Cesare At The Beach Italian Restaurant in Clearwater for a wedding dinner on May 2, 2026, for a party of 20. We worked with manager/part-owner Ryan Pattie in advance to coordinate the dinner, including special printed menus featuring the specific dishes and wines we selected for our guests. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant staff was not aware of our reservation for 20 people. We were also informed that Ryan was not there. We tried calling Ryan on the cell phone number he had personally provided to us for any questions or issues related to the event, but he did not answer. While the staff was trying to figure out what had happened and attempting to reach Ryan, some of our guests went ahead and ordered bottles of wine. The staff did their best under the circumstances to accommodate our group and make the evening work. To their credit, they were helpful and made an effort to turn an awkward situation into a pleasant dinner. The food itself was good. What is most disappointing, however, is what happened afterward. We have made numerous attempts over the past nearly four months to contact Ryan Pattie, both by calling and texting his cell phone and by contacting the restaurant, simply to give him an opportunity to explain what happened or offer an apology. He has not returned our calls or messages. Mistakes happen, especially with large events, but failing to properly communicate with a wedding party that made arrangements in advance--and then completely ignoring repeated attempts to resolve the issue afterward--is unacceptable. The restaurant staff and kitchen deserve credit for doing their best that evening, but the lack of preparation, the failure to have the reservation properly communicated to the staff, and especially the complete lack of follow-up from Ryan Pattie left us extremely disappointed. Based on our experience, we would have a very difficult time recommending César's Italian Restaurant for an important event or special occasion where reliable planning and communication are essential.
