This review is base on my experience. I visited this location base on the google rating not realizing the poor rating on here.. I called and asked if my best friend and I could get our services down at the same time, and they said they have 3 people available to work on us. I decided to pick this location because of the reasonable pricing.. or so I thought.. We were both seated in the pedicure and shortly after Phi started on my best friend. About 5-7 mins later, Rose started on me. There was very minimal conversation. The technicians frequently asked Vivian what kind of service we wanted instead of asking us directly. The third technician never started on either our nails. After my best friends pedicure, Phi did her gel manicure. She didn't do a great job at painting (as shown on photo; you can see it's on her skin) & she didn't scrub/file the callus on her toes. The gel on her hands wasn't eventually distributed so some part is shiny and some part is matte. They asked me to sit at Vivian's table so she could start for me. But because I couldn't figure out a design, she decided to start another customers fill.. she didn't even say anything to me (about skipping my fill and working on someone else) She would turn over and quote me pricing on designs for nail. When I was like I'm ready, she's like okay. After this customer. By then, we had already been at the salon for 2 hours and she said she was willing to stay after the shop is closed to finish my nails.. When she realized that I didn't want to get my nails done anymore, she asked me if I wanted to come back in the morning. My total came out to be $57 for a gel French with callus removal $38 gel manicure best friend $27 basic pedi $3.25 credit card fee I spent more than I usually spend in California. $57 for a gel pedicure when I pay $34 back home is outrageous. Same basic pedicure service.. The staff was very friendly. But the customer service and promise of having 3 technicians working on us and us being there for 2 hours with me walking out with my nails not being done is the reason for the 3 stars. Great salon in the area! Vivian and T did an amazing job. There's the new owner. The price also is so affordable. I had a deluxe pedicure which has paraffin wax, a mask with a hot towel. The salon is clean and so relaxing. I almost fell asleep when having a pedicure and listening to the beautiful music. My nails stay so last long, they stayed more than a month and didn't come off. Another great $10 haircut, this time by Theresa. The cut got 100% approval from my wife, who was not quite 100% on the last one, but admitted any cut was better than no cut. Being tired of paying $23 for a one length haircut at the barbers, I tried Villa on a whim. Besides, as fast as my hair grows, the difference between a good and bad haircut is...wait for it...three days!! The hair stylists are Vietnamese. Very polite, take their time, clean facility, and overall I have been very pleased with the quality of the haitcut and service. Oh, and with tip it is about $14....a bargain to boot! I regularly come to Villa for a fresh cut or massage. 10 dollars is a good deal and the shampoo is very relaxing. V is my favorite and she does a great job. Everyone here is really nice and each time I have been here everyone was polite. I think it is probably best to schedule in advance as sometimes it does get busy. My haircuts have been good and I am treated like family here. Rose cut my hair today and did a great job. I would say I will return if I have lots of time to wait. I've been coming here for a while...basically since I found out they only charge $11 for a cut with a free shampooing ($10 if you pay cash). The place could be just a little cleaner sometimes, but the staff is very friendly and I'm usually in and out within 20 minutes. I've come here several times because it's close to my parents' house and reasonably priced for things like waxing and nails. I can't comment on hair services as I never used it, but my stepdad and a boyfriend of mine have had men's cuts by them and were satisfied and felt the prices were fair. I don't know anyone personally who was female who had hair styled. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences getting my waxings done there. I go there for my brows and sometimes upper lip and chin if Aunt Flo makes those areas unsightly. Very clean jobs and while a little red for the first hour or so after it's done it calms down quickly. Never had bad brows by them. The girls who do it listen when you ask for the level of thinness and are always willing to look at reference if you want a particular shape. Only one time has my brow job by them been subpar (and I've had my brows done there a dozen times by now) but I found out the girl was new and it wasn't anything a little minor tweezing at home couldn't fix. Since she was new my brows only cost $6 which is a steal given how much other places charge. I had no problem spending $10 (I always tip, and especially since she was new) and having to do minor touch up work at home. I haven't had a traditional manicure by them or a pedicure yet. But I have had fake nails put on - french tips, acrylic tips, etc. I'm always impressed by their large selection of tips to choose from. Colors, patterns, sparkles - the list goes on! I first went with basic pink and white the first few times then branched into glitter tip territory and eventually tried patterns. So much fun! I usually get the mail manicurist for this nail job. He's not very conversational but he makes up for it in speed, precision, and expertise. He's very careful and meticulous with his work. And while you do get the vibe he's "rushed" the quality of the work never suffered (at least for me). Every time the nails were done they looked great. Not loose, no chipping, nothing. A couple times my nailbeds felt a little sore but that went away after a day. And the nails lasted forever! They didn't break easily and when left alone a few sets I had done stuck on for over 2 months before I manually had to soak and pry them off to get a new set done. THAT'S thorough! So 4 out of 5 as it's not a day spa by any traditional sense at all. Most of the employees are to the point and want to get the job done. I've found if you're patient and know what you want when you enter you get excellent results. Come with colors and styles in mind. With waxing, have results in mind and reference if you need it (brow shaping is all the rage in some scenes). They'll do it! Be nice and respectful to them and they will return the favor. And always, always, always tip! Even though their service isn't traditional. If they know you tip and take them seriously and are a repeat customer they offer you deals and are willing to do even more for you. I've found when I noticed a fellow customer being disrespectful they didn't get the best service (especially those who vocally complained about the nationalities of the employees). Don't like this group of people taking care of your beauty needs? There's other places, especially in Southlake that probably have the "type" you're looking for - but they cost more! Respect the talents because with the work they do and all the customers they deal with most of their prices are steals compared to other places. Nowadays I go in for a brow and lip wax and brow shaping and it's only $10! Love it. Be nice to them and be direct and up front with what you want and provide reference if you can (visual reference because you need to get over yourself and accept the fact there may be a language barrier. They may not know what the "Kim Kardashian" is). They'll work wonders. read more

This place is so incredibly dirty, like disgustingly filthy! Other nail places you can see the tools being removed from a sanitary bag. Not this place. Can only imagine where they were before me. It was when I was sitting with my nails wrapped to remove old polish that I began to look around and notice all the nastiness. Should have walked away but didn't. There were nail clippings all over, a thick layer of dust on everything. Towels were raggity and rough. So gross. I read the 3 decent reviews on here and went to get my nails done here, they also talked me into getting mine and my daughters haircut, since I had been shopping around for a good place for that too I said okay. My hair cut is MUCH shorter than requested. I asked for a 4 inch trim and showed her exactly where to cut but, she took off around 8 inches instead. We will never go back. Well, my nails started peeling up the next day, my daughters hair is fried, crunchy and broken off in the back from such a hot hair dryer being kept on so long. Her hair was angelic soft now it's dry and rough and you can see the breakage. I went back to get my nails fixed and she lectured me repeatedly about how I don't take care of my nails and I need to keep them from soaking in water even though I repeatedly said I don't soak my nails in water. She "fixed" them but they are all peeling up within another day or two and you can see under my nail where it is lifted from before and then has some added. So you can see air in my nails. They look horrible after 4 days. Y'all, save yourselves, the prices are low for a reason. You get what you pay for or worse! read more

I would give it a 0 if I could. My husband and son went to get their hair cuts here. It is close to home and had a good price listed on the window. My sons hair was cut decent but my husbands was butchered. He was trying to explain to the gentleman what he was wanting but the guy kept cutting. Then at the end when my husband tried to explain what was wrong again... the hairstylist said it was all good and the cut was like his. When checking out the bill was more than what was advertised and when questioned they made excuses and said some things was extra like a shampoo... but they didn't shampoo my husbands hair. I didn't have such a great experience here. I went and had some acrylics put on and i kept having to remind the guy which fingers he hadn't buffed and he made them incredibly thick. Prone to giving second chances, I went in a few weeks later and told them I wanted acrylic with pink, french tips and they simply painted the whole thing hot pink. I just came from this salon with the best haircut I have ever gotten. I asked the stylist to use her judgement and do what she wanted with my hair. I was not disappointed. I've been coming to Villas for about 2 years and I am a very happy customer. Two years ago my hair was so thin I was really afraid to do anything with it. I blamed it on stress and heredity. I started using the high protein shampoo that Villa got and was using herself and today-we both have long heathy hair. It's all natural and your hair won't fall out if you discontinue. She does my nails also and I just love her spirit. Forever trying to please everyone which we all know is impossible. She takes walk ins and has her own loyal clientele. I used to spend 200 easy at Ulta about every 6-8 months but Villa charges me 70 for highlight and trim. That's awesome because my hair is really long now! She doesn't advertise so she can offer her services for less then the big name salons. She has pedi/mani specials as low as 28.00 (total) they also do eyebrow $7.00 and messages. A great Salon right here on keller hicks rd and 377 in Keller tx and if you are in a hurry-make an appointment because they are very busy but will always try to squeeze in the walk ins.
