It's that time of the month again where everyone knows what's going on in Pasadena. Second Sunday of each month rain or shine. The crowds all flocked out to the rose bowl to score on amazing pieces and clothing. A massive flea market that takes a while to complete. Broken down to three section. First or the main, it's wrapped around the stadium which tends to be pretty much everything. Then you have the section right next to it which caters to furniture. If you're looking to score good pieces, they do have an early bird entry time. But standard is 8-3 pm. And lastly, over the bridge is where the clothes tends to be. There, you'll find literally everything. Just have to search for whatever you're looking for. Prices varies with the vendors. Some are majors scores but you may have to dig through piles of clothes. While others are way pricey. Some pieces are like wtf, how is that 150 dollars....lol... But there's alway something to find. Pretty much all vendors take all sort of payment now. Some offer bags for you but bring your own incase. They have food carts and drinks but it is a bit on the steep side. Entrance fee is about 15.00 plus service fee online. Everything is done online now versus prior when you can pay cash. There's loads of parking in the lot. If you're looking for closer to the entrance, there's a paid lot. Street parking is also available but did noticed that a certain section has now become non stop area. Monthly treasure hunts is always on the calendar. Angelenos love the second Sunday of the month. read more

Great for people watching. The serious buying all happens before the sun even rises. Prices are elevated above other markets due to the size and frequency of. Overall a fun time to walk around if it's not too hot out. Can be unpleasant during summer months due to lack of shade and heat. Go and see the beat items but keep the wallet closed. read more

A friend and I recently returned to the Rose Bowl flea market after more than a decade. I used to do a lot of Thrifting, but slowed down once I started shopping online on eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, and similar sites. It does not match the thrill of seeing things firsthand, but definitely saves time. We did not go super early in the morning when they probably had the best stuff because neither of us were looking for anything specific. Just wanted to check it out. There is definitely a large amount of vintage clothes, furniture, housewares, and other collectibles. There are a couple of plant stalls, although we only checked out one. It is awesome. That real bathrooms are available as opposed to ports potties. There is a small food court and a couple of food and drinks stands throughout although the selection isn't super gourmet. I believe the coffee was well over $10 a cup and that is for iced coffee, not cold brew. I don't think there were any espresso drinks. It can get quite hot walking around in the parking lot so I would suggest dressing accordingly. I noticed several people brought little carts to carry their purchases. The parking is free, but there is a lot of walking so you would have to carry your purchases a long way if you do not have a cart. read more

We couldn't believe it was our first time at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena! It had so much cool stuff, including antiques, collectibles, vintage, creative, unique, and artistic arts & crafts. (see my pics below) The Rose Bowl Flea Market is considered an outdoor mega event, held on the second Sunday of each month. Their tickets are cheaper when purchased online rather than in person. We got our tickets on the Eventbrite website, and it was $13.72 per person (including $0.72 fee). Here's the breakdown: Online: Regular admission tickets are $13.00 plus a $0.72 service fee, totaling $13.72. (9 am-3 pm) In Person: You will pay $15 to enter the flea market, which is $2 more than the online price. (9 am-3 pm) VIP: Early bird admission (5:00 am-8:45 am) is $20 online, plus a $1.10 fee; however, it may be even more expensive if purchased at the gate. Children: Children under 12 are admitted free with an adult. Tips: Bring sunscreen, a hat/cap, a cooling fan, a big tote bag or backpack, wear comfortable shoes, and bring cash. We parked at the Space Museum section, so the parking was free. It involved some walking, but it wasn't that bad. If you prefer to park closer, you can pay for preferred parking, which is typically around $20. We arrived there at around 9:30 a.m., and it already had a lot of people there. It had so many cool and new merchandise items with over 2,500 vendors, according to the Rose Bowl Flea Market. You can easily spend a whole day there, but we only spent about 2 hours there because we were craving lunch and also getting hot. Thank God that we had hats, water, and a cooling fan with us. living in LA all my life I had never been to this until finally going over a year ago and its tricky given its once a month so keeping track of what Sunday to go can be a little hard to plan if you aren't just marking down on your calendar but yeah of course the one time I went it was raining and I honestly thought it may not happen it did but only half the vendors went if that... so my first experience was a bit lackluster from the lack of vendors BUT i still enjoyed...parking was not that terrible given that it is at the bowl which normally its a pain but as usual you have some vendors who over price certain things and other places where you do find some great deals. Heck I found a girl who sold these cool disco balls and I got one and love it! I hope to go back in 2026 when its not raining LOL so I can definitely enjoy the market fully read more

I love coming here to hunt for unique and/or vintage items. It's hard to determine quality and condition when trying to buy online. There's a huge variety of vendors with varying prices. Some are really crazy that I can't justify but don't be discouraged and keep looking! I've been able to find some great stuff for a good price. Be ready for a long walk and lots of sun. TIPS: 1. Buy your tickets online beforehand for a discount! They go for $20 at the door, but $10 online. 2. Parking is $20, but if you park across the street and walk in you can save some money. 3. Some vendors may only accept cash, but there are many that also accept card, Venmo, or Zelle. This was my first Rose Bowl Flea and I found some really great items! I arrived around 10am and it wasn't as crowded as when I left around 1pm. Highly recommend getting there early to avoid the crowds, sun, and getting your first pick of handmade crafts. The flea market is organized in sections and there are plenty of free public restrooms. There's also a section in the middle of the main entrance market to purchase food and drinks. My purchases include a signed poster of LA icons, ceramics, and a handmade plushie! Absolutely huge Farmers market. Make sure you buy your tickets online there are about $10 for the general and Prince time and I don't think there's much value in coming early unless you really want to find something specific. Parking itself took us about 30 minutes so definitely to give yourself extra time to explore. We weren't able to find any good deals, but it was almost impossible to browse because there were so many people. I would come back for the experience but don't think it's realistic to come here to look for anything or find good deals read more

Coming from out of town, hyped up about the size and potential of what I've heard about the RBFM in the past. I was impressed with how many vendors there were but disappointed that it was mostly clothes, art and furniture. I was hoping for more blue collar items and lawn equipment. My wife had her eyes peeled to find golf equipment but it wasn't there. Prices seemed high but what's new? Bring a water bottle and sack lunch. People were friendly and safe. read more

This was my first time attending the flea market and it was surprisingly very nice. They have so many vendors that sold vintage and new modern stuff. Big assortment of items from clothing to household plants, etc. The service was good and the value of items was proper. Some items were a bit pricey, but overall respectable prices. Great selections of food options, drinks, and alcohol. I loved it. The price to get in is worth it due to the ample of vendors. Plenty of free parking. This event is so much fun! Lots of great items to see! We've come here 4 months in a row. Admission is reasonable: Online price - $13 per person for regular admission or $20 for early bird tix. Tickets at the gate cost more, so it's better to buy online as it's cheaper even with the service charge. Parking is free in most of the lots at the Rose Bowl, and there are over 2,000 vendors! I come here to find comics, cards and vintage toys, and I already have a couple of vendors who are now my "regulars". We even picked up a nice bistro set for a great price! This place has everything. The Rose Bowl Flea Market occurs on the second Sunday of every month and never fails to disappoint. Even if you don't find what you were looking for, it's always a great time. I have been here with friends on multiple occasions and always find something I love. It's the biggest flea market I've ever seen and there's almost no way to see everything in one day. They literally have EVERYTHING here--furniture , plants , art , vintage everything (there's a whole vintage section and it's HUGE) , clothes & jewelry , home decor , holiday decor , food & drinks--the list goes on. I love the Rose Bowl Flea Market because I enjoy walking through the aisles and checking out all of the vintage finds. This is THE place to find everything from vintage collectibles to vintage shirts to homemade crafts to accessories to pet stuff to rugs to lamps to furniture and much more. I've seen people bring huge wagons and dollies - if you think you'll want to haul something hefty home, come prepared like they do. It typically takes me a couple of hours to get through each and every booth in every corner of the lot. This market spans the entire parking area, plus the loop around the bowl. It's huge and starts before dawn - plan accordingly for a great time. I'm not usually a shopper, unless I come across some fun crafts or cute cat stuff. I've supported all of the candle vendors at some point or another - LOL! - and also some of the stone and pottery booths. When it comes to the vintage wear, I don't usually partake... but I know a treasure cove when I see one. This place is the Mecca for all things vintage, and it is a huuuuuge draw every month on the second Sunday. Bring food/water, it's not cheap or that good here. There's a few food options like chicken teriyaki bowls which are also made by the booth that produces sweet or savory crepes. And the prices are outrageous for the quality. You can definitely get your steps in the Rose Bowl is huge and you have all kinds of vendors from veggies and fruits to vintage household items to brand new items. You have your mom and pop shops starting off here. They have two different timeslots. I always recommend you get the early bird if you're trying to find some very treasure or if you're trying to avoid that heat and better parking. They have food area for you to buy some great eats or you can grab a hot chocolate or coffee or a hot day. You can grab a nice cold beer. It is dog friendly, but it does have to be a service animal. It's for kids. I recommend it to anyone also handicap accessible. read more

Holy Doodle! What an experience! First - Get your tickets in advance. It's a cluster F to try and pay cash at the window AND it's $2 more expensive than buying online! Obviously the term Cash is King is reserved for the vendors. Also, before you go, note this: Wear comfortable walking shoes. We parked A MILE away from the entrance! If you are freaked out by crowds, this isn't your scene. Walking up I felt like we were going to attend Woodstock 3.0 It really has a festival vibe. Dress in layers, it was cold, then hot, hat and sunglasses and cross body tote will help you navigate the masses. There are so many vendors taking up the west parking lot. So not only will you lap around the outside of the Rose Bowl, but there are rows in entire west parking lot full of vintage items and antiques. People watching is A++, there are folks from everywhere vending and shopping... observing is just as much of a fun sport for the day as is the treasure hunting. Truly a great time. As far as refreshments, BYO I wanted a Kombucha or a fresh juice, the concession vendors are surprisingly limited. Water, sugar drinks and booze were the only options. Been a few years since my last RB Flea Market visit and wow has it changed. Gone are the days of cool hunting and rare finds. Now more of a swap meet vibe, after a few hours of perusing clothes, some second hand furniture and a section of new items, I left with a bunch of fresh eucalyptus. As far as the food, shockingly limited and clearly regulated by the same culinary team. Enjoyed a few tacos and went on my way. Thinking my days at the RB Flea Market are numbered. This is definitely the kind of flea market you need to be well-prepared to attend! If you don't know what you're looking for, it can be overwhelming. If you're the kind of person who is looking for the best finds, it's probably going to be worth it to spring for the $20 ticket and get there at 5am (yes, 5am!!) to get what you're looking for. If you're more day looking for a nice way to spend the day and get your steps in, getting there for the 9am-3pm slot will be just fine. Although, be warned, this is not a relaxing walk in the park! It spans a fairly large area and is very crowded. Definitely be sure to grab a map on your way in - I forgot to and I regretted it. Be careful. You can spend all your money in there. Both times I came were on very hot days. The amount of vendors you can find here is incredible. Inside you can find a map of how the market organizes its many different sellers. The admission for my girlfriend and I is around $25. There is just so much selection overall I think as a buyer you're bound to find something you fancy. It's kind of overwhelming lol. On both visits we only spent just under 2 hours browsing, chatting with vendors, and other shoppers but cut the haul short for two reasons. 1. the sun was very pressing and 2. my girlfriend and I found such good merch in such a short span of time that suited our budget and wants for a fun Sunday run at the flea. If I had to guess, we have only stopped at 15% of the vendor set ups which I think says a lot about how big this market is. I look forward to coming more and spending more time looking around on days that aren't so hot. Overall I think this is one of the most fun and engaging ways to shop for intricate goods and rare finds. Many of the vendors are nice and friendly people and can bargain pretty well! read more

The Rose Bowl is one of my favorite places to shop! They have a variety of items~ Everything from home decor, furniture, trinkets, clothes, handmade products, accessories, cookware, electronics, and more! They have a very large clothing section. There's about over hundreds of booths where you can find new and used clothing items. I was able to find a really nice dress that I have wanted for a while and was happy to find it here. I got the dress for $10! They have some booths where they sell all clothes for $10 or $15. If you are looked for vintage T-shirts and jackets they have plenty of booths that sell that. Most of the time the Rose Bowl is pretty hot outside so I would recommend wearing a hat and bring a couple of tote bags so you can carry your items with you. My only complaint is that it can be kind of expensive if you go every month. The tickets used to be a lot cheaper. I bought 2 tickets online and it ended up being $25 because you have to pay a service fee on top. hopefully they don't increase their prices. read more

We brought our own breakfast and drinks. The whole market is huge huge huge. If you gonna buy something, make sure you bring a cart or something on wheels so you don't need carry. I went to this last in 2002. Back then it was 95% vintage and antique and you could find really cool stuff. I went today 20 years later and it's terrible. It's at least 50% new items and then 40% vintage clothing and 10% actual cool vintage vendors. I arrived with $800 cash and only purchased $50 of items from one vendor. Save your time and visit smaller true vintage markets. I also witnessed 2 vendors being very rude to customers. Unreal! read more

Finally visited this place and I'll def be a regular in the future! We arrived around 12:30pm and it was fairly crowded but not chaotic. This place is HUGE. We probably saw 1/4 of the whole thing after two and a half hours. Some of the booths here have a hipster modern vibe, while others are more retro and vintage. I was surprised at how tidy and well organized most booths are, given it's a flea market. They really have EVERYTHING. Think of a random object and I'm sure you'll find it here. Lots of people came with trolleys and wagons to carry all the goodies they score. What I found interesting is the pricing. A giant beautiful terracotta floor case I assumed to be at least $300 was selling for $20. A rusty looking metal figurine I would buy for $50 was selling for $1000. So you never know until you talk to the vendor haha. They had a few food tents scattered around but they all seemed super pricey. read more

There's stadium parking or park afar in the neighborhood Feels| The Rose Bowl Stadium is surrounded by many houses so it has a clean pleasant charm. Rose Bowl stadium has a lot of history so it's a great gem to even be around. It's a classic stadium vibe - grandiose and historic. Great place for some thrift shopping or a local date. VENDORS TOO MANY to keep count of! You have clothing shops, pins, hats, carpet, music, candles, plants and art! The food court is relatively simple with about 6-8 vendors. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Generally friendly people from the parking ushers to the vendors. TL;DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. This is a great place! Plenty vendors from antiques, plants, and food. It's a great local flavor if you're visiting Pasadena. Looking forward to come back here again. Huge flea market that mostly sells clothes items, but there are other shops with furniture, jewelry, artisan products, and more. There are also some scattered food stations across the shops. You have to pay for entry, which is around $13. The area is huge and the maps aren't super helpful to find specific things. I was a little surprised by the prices - for a flea market, items were priced high at an average price of $30+. Paid the $20.00 to get in at 5 a.m. absolutely not worth it. There wasn't a single vendor that was set up. It was 6:30 before a handful of vendors were ready to sell. Mostly used clothing...when I say mostly I mean about 70 % of sellers. Food is very expensive. Years ago you could find extraordinary stuff, now it's just not worth it. It may be better after about 9 when all sellers are ready for business. But definitely not worth $20.00 for early bird. read more

When I first moved to LA over 30 years ago, I couldn't wait to go to the Pasadena RBFM monthly. Over the years I found so many wonderful antiques from gorgeous art-deco statues and paintings to fantastic vintage (often signed) pottery as well some fab vintage clothings finds. After not attending for the past ten years, my husband and I recently went back this past August 2025. We were so disappointed. All the wonderful antique dealers seemed to have disappeared. The market was lined mostly with people (not real dealers) selling worn houseware items and used clothing. The prices were high for this junk. Maybe we overlooked something or it was just a bad day. We will give it another try this Fall and hope to come home with some treasures. At least we got a great steak meal out of our excursion at Ruth Cris in Pasadena. read more
