This was the location of the polling booths for the primary election that I was assigned to. So I ventured to the new library. Parking was easy and plentiful with numerous spaces available that are covered by solar panels allowing guests to park in the shade. I was in a hurry so I didn't walk most of the library, I just walked into the room that was being used as a polling place, checked in, received my ballot, voted, and submitted the ballot into the machine, and exited the library all in about 10 minutes. I'll return in the future to explore the grounds and campus. What I saw was clean, nice, and tastefully appointed.

Many people praise the kids' area and family-friendly programming, and there's also a great used-book nook run by Friends of Yorba Linda Public Library Book Corner that's perfect for finding cheap finds and supporting local programs. There are also useful services like passport processing, study rooms, public computers, and events for all ages, which go beyond what some smaller libraries offer and make it a hub for different members of the community. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, like many popular libraries, it can get crowded during peak hours, and I've heard a few rare comments from other visitors saying staff interactions upstairs haven't always been great though most experiences I've seen are positive overall. Overall, it's a comfortable, well-stocked library with good amenities and a welcoming community atmosphere definitely worth a visit if you want a quiet place to read, study, take the kids, or just hang out.

I would recommend to come early since parking fills up due to paid parking in Old Town Orange down the street. We love all songs that all the kids end up loving to memorize and dancing to! After some songs and stories there is free play for around 30 more minutes. Other than story time, the Children's part of the library is a fun place for kids to play puzzles, crawl under an orange, and find some books to take home.

Great library but the librarians don't follow the rules. They allow this man to come and use the…read morestudy rooms like his own personal office every day. He is very loud as he holds Zoom business calls at high decibels. When I asked why they allow it because it was incredibly loud and disruptive, the Librarian (middle aged tall white dude with a condescending, sardonic attitude) said it was fine and that he allows him to use the City of Orange Library study space as his office on a daily basis. He said its not against the rules (see the attached picture of the actual rules enacted by the Board of Trustees) and that he has worked at the library for 17 years and can change the rules if he wants to. Hate to see government employees acting entitled to using government property as they wish. Here is a shot of the man setup in his office hosting meetings in the public library.

Shout out to the Fullerton library for suggesting to come here! Long story short, I lost my passport and needed expedite renewal as I have another international travel for 2/26. The staff was very helpful and they signed me in with a buzzer to know when my turn was up as they only have 1 agent. The facility has parking in the back and it looks very clean. The tables in the middle have power plugs on the top for you to use. They have meeting rooms and quiet rooms. Overall I had a good experience.

I really love the layout of this library. The children's area is a little off to the side so I am not self conscious of my little ones annoying other visitors. The kids love seeing Yoshi the bearded dragon. They also love playing with the toys and reading in the cozy seating areas. The staff is also very nice and helpful! Book selection was nice too! My children could easily find a ton of books they were interested in. The faux trees and other decor is pleasant. While some parts are in need of a little tlc, it's a pretty cozy space overall and feels really nice and welcoming. Definitely plan on visiting this library again soon!

We've enjoyed…read morefree Sunday concerts there in the theater, walked throughout the grounds and the indoor museum, and marveled at the care with which his life story and impact were eloquently documented and coordinated. This is one of the few places where a presidential birthplace and burial site are both on the same grounds. Amidst a gorgeous reflecting pool, rose garden, and the palm trees typical of Southern California, Richard Nixon and his wife are buried about 50 feet from his birth home. The house lies in its original footprint when Francis Nixon built the modest house on a rural citrus ranch in 1912. It's perfectly preserved in the middle of a busy suburban setting today, included in the tour. Surprises within the sprawling complex include a replica of the living room at the Nixon's beach house in San Clemente, a full-scale replica of the Oval Office, a chunk of the Berlin Wall, and oil from Saudi Arabia's first oil well. There are countless other artifacts! Best of all, you might enter the museum thinking of Nixon as scandalous, a Republican who became America's only president to resign. But you'll leave with a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, the impact Nixon had on abolishing the military draft, developing relations with China, and signing legislation that would advance women's sports, protect countries against nuclear war, desegregate southern schools, protect the environment, and even initiate the end of the Cold War.

I used to just buy books but got overwhelmed with so many that it's easier just to rent a book plus gives us a reason to read new ones together. All the employees are really friendly. My friend had to get a library card I already had one so checked out 3 books. Usually park underground the lot is always full but found handicap thank goodness near the elevators. Nice courtyard they do tree lighting near here too during Christmas time. It's a cute little area for the library. Return book time is 3 weeks which is nice. Thank you for your help in finding books and for your friendly smiles. Baby girl and I also found a puzzle on the table we were trying to do for a bit too. Love this library. There were others being loud in the library yet they chose to come tell my child who has a disability to stop making noise on his computer. The kids section of books has a great selection and they have a few computers set up with interactive games and activities. They also do weekly classes and programs which are fun to attend. They also have lots of fliers to community events as well. Staff is friendly and helpful!! The hours are not to good but manageable. Outside they have a grass area with a few benches under some trees. You can bring a blanket and enjoy your book in nice weather. It's a good little spot to have close by.
