I got in line and asked tge gentleman his opinion on should I go with the plate or get the Cuban sandwich. He suggested the lunch plate and proceeded to give me a sample of the roast pork and vata frita and samples of the choice of rice. What amazing service. I went with the roast pork and it was amazing. I mean, seriously amazing. Do not sleep on this amazing gem. It definitely earned five stars.

At that price, I honestly felt like I was paying more than I would at Starbucks. For a Cuban restaurant and bakery, café con leche should be one of the things they absolutely get right, especially when charging that much. To make matters worse, the food kept repeating on me all day, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I don't mind paying higher prices when the quality, flavor, and experience justify it, but this simply didn't. Nearly $24 for a sandwich and café con leche that left me disappointed is way too much.
